Actions: Jane Victoria passes out 1/2 of body on game field and the 2nd half on the spectator side
They were late.
What had they been doing? Spinning in circles for over an hour in the abandoned toilets. Yep. Just that. Now they felt a bit nauseous and dizzy, when they heard there was a dodgeball game (two girls entered the bathroom talking about it while they were spinning) Jay Victoria decided to stop spinning which was a struggle because they fell face flat on the tile floor, which then left a giant purple-blue bruise on their pale forehead. Luckily Jays bangs were a bit long but not long enough to cover the lower half of the circular bruise. Even as they made their way to the game they crashed into people and into a pillar- no they were not blind. They were dizzy.
Jay decided to stand right at the edge, so that they could see everything up close. Jay was quiet the whole time. They stared at the game. It was quite interesting, everything seemed blurry still, but jay decided that the game was interesting.
They found themselves becoming more disconnected... Was it something they ate? Jay honestly could not think why they felt like this. They didn’t even bother to think that it may be because they were spinning for over and hour and fell on a hard tile floor.
Next thing ya know Jay randomly stumbles right over the field line and passes out. Their upper body on the side of the field where the game was happening and the lower half where the watchers were.

Natalia's shoulder's jump at the question, tentatively looking back at the group of gathered Ravenclaws before bobbing her head in a stiff nod. "Yes, I think..." Her voice trails off, as it often does, and she reaches for the right words before speaking again with a softer tone. "I'm fine, thank you. I just wanted to see the game." The embarrassed flush begins to recede with each quiet breath she takes, and she steels her resolve when the other Ravenclaw encourages her to sit with them—so she does, if not a little too carefully, making sure that she's not edging into anybody's comfort zone or blocking anyone's view of the game.
She places the tome delicately on her lap and crosses her legs by the ankles, slightly swaying them back and forth. While she does focus her attention on the game, she can't help the way her eyes flicker towards the other students, carefully examining their faces and their body language and familiarizing herself with them—she's seen them around, maybe, in passing, but she doesn't know their names. It's clear, however, that they know each other's names, but likely not hers.
She tries not to frown. She should probably remedy that. Her Aunt Delphine would want her to make friends, wouldn't she?
Her blue eyes sweep towards Shauna, and she nods carefully to answer her question before deciding to elaborate. "My cousins, they can't..." Natalia stops, motions vaguely at the field of ice. "They can't do what those students can, or what you and I can—the charms, I mean. I've never seen dodgeball played with magic. They usually just hit each other." She offers a small, apologetic smile, although it isn't quite clear why—she smiles as if mundane, muggle dodgeball is somehow her fault, or perhaps she should have worded it with more excitement.
Not that she can, even if she wants to. Given the fact that she was never included in her cousins' backyard games, she's hardly the right person to represent muggle dodgeball, especially to wizards. In fact, she thinks she might be doing it a disservice, although her words aren't entirely untrue. Dodgeball is truthfully more exciting when it's accompanied by the whizz of spells whistling past the ice field.

Erin was getting a lot out of this game believe it or not. The technique (or lack thereof) of some of the players. A fascinating experience. But more than the players, the spectators. Who they cheered for. Who they sat next to. Who they embraced. The Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch Team was hugging a Slytherin girl - interesting, there was someone important to him. A couple of girls were cheering for the Ravenclaw House, a sense of comradeship perhaps between them. Then a young boy joined in, she cocked her head to the side and wondered if any of them would prove to be relevant. If any of them were midget giants or death witches. She let out a huff of hot air through her nares, it seemed like everyone was one or the other these days. Whatever...
She would watch them out of the corner of her eye as she witnessed the game as well as the 'relationships' between the two boys whom were outnumbered by girls. It seemed like Hogwarts was a mostly girls school that allowed a few token boys be admitted for the sake of 'diversity.' There were a few noteworthy events that she relegated to memory while the other spectators socialized.

Kaegen had been tagged out. It had been close, really an incredibly lucky shot by the gryffindor. The ball had grazed past, but it had touched enough to send him crashing down. That was fine, he had known that it was inevitable. What had not been expected was the fact that the friend of his friend was decidedly in league with death witches. How weak was eris? How could she have missed that? His faith in the little gryffindor had always been resolute, but recently he had been seeing more and more weakness, more and more cracks in the brilliant armor of flames he thought she wore.
As he walked towards the stands, however, he noticed a little boy laying dead on the ground. Why had he not been eaten? Were all the monsters full? Walking towards the supposed corpse, Kaegen kicked it in the side to look for a reaction, and only then noticed that the corpse was still breathing. Well, that was weird.
It didn't matter, one way or another. No one had taken the time to look this corpse, or soon-to-be corpse, whichever came first, so Kaegen would take the initiative. He wasn't going to be able to heal this person, and something was going to come along and kill it sooner or later. That was the way of things, the way of nature, and hogwarts. The weak were consumed, the strong struggled forwards.
Not wasting another second, he began to rifle through the boy's pockets, looking for anything useful, but being careful of his surroundings as he did so. It would be just his luck if someone else wanted to loot the body at the same time as he did.

It was all darkness, it felt like forever, but in reality it was only a few minutes, and of course passing out for a few minutes mostly meant death, but in this case sadly oooof it wasn’t. Jay threw their head up, surprised by the fact that they passed out, surprised pikachu faceand as their vision and brain started to work again they stared at the guy in disbelief, wasn’t his name something like Kae? Kaegen was it? Jay didn’t exactly remember...
”What in the actual heck-” They said loudly, they were disturbed and a bit worried about the fact that someone would dare to go through the pockets of someone unconscious. But Jay has met him before and Jay kind of knew how he was a bit different from others, but seriously who in their right mind would do this?
Jay went ahead and grabbed their wrist, he had a folded up drawing they made in his hand, and god knows what else he already took, “You complete git, what are you doing? Give me back my stuff!” They wanted to sound angry but their voice sounded rather confused and frustrated. Jay had been secretly carrying a knife and they definitely did not want him to take it or anyone else finding out about it, yes, muggle weapons are nothing against wands but of course Jays wand could break anytime and anything could happen.
“Please” they added, still holding onto his wrist.

The stricken boy, known to Kaegen at this point as "corpse" grabbed his wrist. Death throes, clearly, he may have just forgotten he was about to die, that didn't matter, they were clearly about to pass back out.
"Hush. You died, and I'm taking your things. You don't have any use for them."
Kaegen sat there, clearly convinced that the corpse was about to pass back out, so that he could continue to loot the body in peace. He had already more or less decided, and if the corpse didn't agree that it was a corpse, then Kaegen could always just leave it for something to eat, and loot the surrounding area for trinkets that may have been thrown clear of the execution, or meal. Although it would probably end up being a mix of both, if he was being honest.
"I hope you don't think you'd be needing any of this in the afterlife. Because there isn't one, it goes black, and you're gone."
Kae reached over with his free hand, and flicked at one of the corpse's shoes, with a inquisitive raise of his eyebrows, and a questioning
"What size?"
It was usually not customary to talk with the corpse you were looting, but Kaegen was pretty decent at taking things from the remains of things that used to be alive. It was a skill of his that he was rather proud of.

“I’m still breathing and I can speak, meaning I did not die,”
Jays headache got worse, it was either because they just woke up after falling on the ground or because this guy was being stressful. I am not dead! What in the world??? They thought.
”You’re that one that has no use for my stuff, I’m alive ye dummy” Jay said with obviously annoyance in their voice. Just then Jay realized that the ravenclaw boy had two big tooth gaps in his mouth, Jay had seen this before, there was a red haired girl who also had the gaps, some other shady dude they’ve seen around, and there were also rumors about the astronomy teacher being a dhampir. He was a dhampir wasn’t he? Other dhampirs seemed pretty normal but this guy... he was completely in another world.
The guy then asked something that threw them off so much, he had asked what size their shoes were. Jay took a moment to pause and think, they didn’t really buy a lot of their clothes... Size five wasn’t it? (and Size seven US)
”Er- I’m size five...?” They answered him, Jay was sure surprised at themself for even answering such a random question...

Jorah crossed his arms across his chest and tucked his hands into his armpits to conserve warmth. Ruthie offered back a flap of his cloak. Jorah happily accepted, his nose having adapted to the fishy smell by now, and huddled under his clock with Ruthie. She was still a little wet, but maybe their combined body heat would ward off the cold. "How many Gryffindors are left?", came a new voice off to his side. Jorah turned to see a familiar face. It was one of his fellow Ravenclaws and judging by the look of his clothes he had just been knocked out of the match. Jorah turned to the game, quickly counting the remaining red players. "Three..five...seven...DAMN IT!" Jorah had just witnessed Adam get knocked out, followed by Cecily.
Jorah turned back to the boy who asked the question. "Sorry, I think there's about 10 Gryffindors left. It's hard to see with all the smoke. Good news is only about half of them are actively playing." Jorah inspected the boy, he wore glasses. Jorah preferred people who wore glasses. Maybe it was the look reinforcing a stereotype, but Jorah always thought people who wore glasses were generally more intelligent, less rowdy. Jorah wasn't aware of many Gryffindors who wore glasses and he wasn't surprised by that. This new boy didn't strike Jorah as an unpleasant person. I could use another friend, he thought. Preferably a guy, maybe this one will do. "Hi, I'm Jorah by the way," he said freeing a hand from under his pit for a handshake.
The introduction was followed by Jorah catching notice of Shauna asking, "Hold on what the world is a muggle?" Does she seriously not know what a muggle is? Does she live under a rock? Jorah turned to answer her question, always willing to drop knowledge, when he felt Shauna smack him on the back of his head. "Hey, what was that for?" Could she read minds? No, that magic was too advanced, she probably just saw a judgmental look on my face, Jorah reasoned. "Well since you asked. A muggle a non-magical person. Over in the U.S., they are called No-Majes. Personally, I prefer the term muggle. Anyway, a Squib is like a muggle, but at least a Squib is involved in the magical community because one or more of their parents is magical."
Jorah noticed another girl had joined their party. He didn't recognize her, but gave her a friendly nod.

"Just keep swinging"
Let's watch Dodgeball!! Lions Vs. Eagles
Adam was shivering violently from the cold waters of the lake, wrapped tightly in a blanket given to him by Professor Pendrast and clutching a mug of hot chocolate. His hair was plastered to his head and his clothes were thoroughly soaked, adding to the chill that ran through him every time the wind blew his way. As he made his way over to the group of Ravenclaw students in the stands, however, he wore a happy -- albeit chattering -- grin.
"H-h-hey guys!" he exclaimed as he struggled to keep his teeth from clicking together so much. It made it very hard to talk. Reaching up to push a strand of wet hair off of his forehead, Adam took note of Ravenclaw's cheerleaders: Jorah and Ruthie from the Quidditch team, a boy he'd seen out on the dodgeball field, and two unfamiliar girls. He hadn't expected such a big turnout, even if two of them were former players. Poor Ruthie and Janus had taken the dive into the Great Lake too. They looked considerably more comfortable now, though. That was good.
"Tough r-r-round, huh? Cecily was in the boat with me too. Not sure if she's c-coming up or not, though." Pausing, Adam suddenly remembered the events that had brought him down here -- the dual attacks on him, and the one that he'd sent out. Looking hopefully between the other students, Adam leaned forwards. "Hey, did any of you see if I hit Max? That Gryffindor b-boy? It was hard to focus on anything once I heard the g-glass start to shatter." God, please let him have hit Max. Even if the spell didn't do much, it would make his elimination manageable.
It took the blond boy a second to realize that maybe (just maybe) the five other students hadn't been sitting in silence before he'd approached. Blushing red with shame, he hurried to apologize for any potential intrusion. "Did I interrupt anything? S-sorry, I totally should have asked. Nice to see you, Jorah! You too, R-R-Ruthie. I don't think I've met the rest of you: I'm Adam." Extending a clammy hand to the other three Ravenclaws, Adam smiled at them. "Isn't this all so exciting? Too b-b-bad we're behind, though. I hate to let Gryffindor win."
The boy was aware of the overwhelming effect he tended to have, deep down. It might have been the shock of the lake that had kicked him into hyperactive mode, or the feeling of coming down from the game's adrenaline high. Whatever it was, he certainly didn't expect any of his housemates to have kept up with any of that. He was just glad to be in familiar company. If the rest of Team Ravenclaw was going to pull through, they'd need steady crowd support until the last ball was thrown.

Kaegen glared at the corpse as it tried to convince him that it was still alive. Yeah, right. It was clearly dead, but delusional. But he let go of the picture regardless. The shoe size, sadly, did not sound like it was something that would fit him, so he didn't bother picking those up either. It was useless to try and loot a corpse that didn't believe it was dead.
"Whatever you say. If something eats you, throw what you own to the side so I can take it later."
He stood up, looked down at the boy who clearly needed help, turned and started to walk away. It was not his place to help those who could not help themselves, it was not his place to lengthen the life of someone who was going to die. He had left people behind before and would do it again. Kaegen was no stranger to death, he expected things to pass, to move on. Seeing something he didn't know lay on the ground dying was nothing new to him.
Grandfather had warned him about trying to catch a feather that was cast from the top of a mountain. He warned that it couldn't be done, that once something was happening it was almost impossible to stop it. You had to prevent it from happening at all, and it was clear he was too late for that.
