Transfiguration, Potions, and now Charms. Herbology next?... Heather Ruby mentally ticked off the list of professors she had visited today and still had yet to visit. She hoped she could reach them all today, what with it being a free day for her, and not knowing when she would have time again. Heather sighed, realizing that in hindsight, it would have been less tiring and time consuming to visit them floor by floor from the bottom of the school up instead of running around all day as she had done. Oh well, at least she was almost finished.
Reaching the Charms classroom, she knocked on the door with the hand holding her white and red guide cane. In her other hand, she carried what looked like a bright blue typewriter with only nine keys. This device was Heather's braille writer, and the reason she had come to see the professor.
"Professor? Are you in there?" she called, peeking into the classroom through the open door. Everything not right in front of her was a blur of shapes and color, so she searched for any signs or sounds of movement. "I need to talk to you about something if you've got a minute?" Heather hoped he wasn't in the middle of a lesson or something. She had been fortunate today that the other teachers had been free to speak to her so far.

Artemis popped a sweet into his mouth as he leaned over a third year assignment he was grading. The week was long and exhausting but today he managed to get a free period to at least grade a few papers and get them out of the way. So far, he's only given out three disappointing grades, but the rest of the assignments were spectacular O levels and it made grading so much easier. An alarm went off in his office, alerting Artemis to the presence of a student entering his classroom. It was something he figured he would set up in both his office and his private quarters in case a student needed him and he wasn't already in the other room. But damn it all if he didn't wish it didn't go off just now. He really needed to finish grading. Alas, students come before paperwork. Sighing, the man put down the papers and assignments and stood up to enter the adjourning door to see who would actually be coming to see him during the one free period he had today. Upon opening the door, he stepped out to see one of his younger students with what looked like a typewriter case in her hands.@Heather Ruby
'Ah. It's Miss Ruby. Our other blind resident in the castle. I wonder if she had the pleasure of chatting with Lian about heightened senses and coping with being a blind witch?' Artemis thought to himself as he entered the classroom fully.
"Miss Ruby," he addressed the girl, "Come on in." Artemis moved to stand near his desk and leaned against it casually before pointing his wand at a desk chair and moving it from under the nearest table for the young Ravenclaw. "To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?"
Artemis remembered the young twelve-year-old from the year prior but with her poor eyesight, she didn't manage to pass the year end exams to move up to year two. Artemis felt for the girl, but she seemed to take it all in stride and came back the next year ready and raring to go. Determination seemed to be the role she was taking this year and nothing would stop young Heather Ruby from achieving what she wanted.
Artemis just hoped she didn't ask for information about creating spells like a student the year prior did.
