Karina took a seat in the far left corner of the room. The bell will ring any minute now. She thought. As much as Kari liked Hogwarts, she didn't enjoy History of Magic. She was going to be bored all hour.

10 minutes into class, Karina slouched down on her desk, the few students in front of her covered the fact that she was almost sleeping. All of this 'yapping' made Karina so drowsy. If only she could... could... shut her eyes... at least just for a little... *SMACK* Karina woke with a start, her ink bottle had rolled of her desk and fell to the floor with a loud clatter and all eyes went to her. She felt her face go red...

She carefully picked up the bottle. (Thankfully it was closed and hadn't spilled). Then, it came to her. She picked up her quill and dipped it gently into her ink bottle. She wrote a little smiley face on the corner of the desk. Then her imagination sprouted and she drew the face some eye lashes.

After about another half hour, she got bored again and wrote a little note next to the smiley face:
Greetings from 1st hour- History of Magic
So, since everyone has an hour, and we still need 1 more person to post, we can pretend like he/she wandered into the room to grab an item they forgot and then notice the writing.

Getting late was the last thing Dove needed to be, however here she was, running into the corridors, trying to avoid people coming back and forth, and desperatly trying to find someone of her class. Fortunatly, the class door wasn't closed, and it seemed like the lesson hadn't started yet. So she entered the room, out of breath, whispering a little "Sorry I'm late." and went to an empty seat. No one was next to her, but she didn't matter, she could get concentrated easier this way, which would be quite difficult since she was a bit tired of her run.

History of magic wasn't her favorite subject, but she tried to focus anyway, her goal being to have good grades in every class. But it wasn't that easy, people were mumbling in front of her, preventing her from hearing the teacher well, and she was too shy to try saying something to them. Besides, she realised she hadn't get her stuff out of her school bag. Are you freaking serious Dove ? she told herself, quite angry.

Once it was done, she realised there was some mark on her desk, even an ink one. She got closer to it and saw the writing of someone. 1st hour ? It was the one just before her ! If she got into her class quicker, she might have seen who it was. And now, her curiosity had been piqued, so she took her quill, put some ink on it, and wrote just under it :

Hello, hour just after. Who are you ?

She added a curiosed face, next to the smily one, she thought she was funny doing it.

Speech -- Thoughts

Pam was seriously regretting not bunking the class. However, she was already scoring the least in history of magic, and considering her more or less decent score in the rest of the subjects, she had figured attending the classes would probably do more good than not. She hated the homework they always got anyway.

Her mind wandered without fail, into the Quidditch pitch where she would have to go to train later, then the Astronomy Tower, then her books. If she wasn't too tired after classes, perhaps she could go to the Astronomy Tower again. She hadn't been there in a while.

Oh, she was so tired. If there was one thing Pam knew with certainty since coming to Hogwarts, was that one could never get enough sleep. Anyone who said otherwise, could not be trusted. Secondly, the History of Magic lectures were a very, very good lullaby.

Her fingers traced the words written onto the desk in a near handwriting, staring blankly at it but not really registering. Some people seemed to have started a conversation

Greetings from 1st hour- History of Magic
Hello, hour just after. Who are you ?

First hour....an hour later....so two hours ago? Pam picked up her quill, and wrote carefully:

History of Magic, to be honest, is not on the list of Hana's favourite subjects. History, in Hana's mind, is just a boring subjects where you need to memorise of the events in the past and analyse it. Every single time she goes to that classroom, she will start zoning out or draw some doodles on her parchment.

Well, it was not an exception for Hana today. Hana sat down at her usual spot - the desk at the back of the classroom so that no one will notice her not paying attention. "Class, turn your page to page 127" The sound of the teacher broke the silence. So, Hana slowly took out her dusty thick textbook from her bag. The words on the page was so tiny, with diagrams on it. As Hana gazed in the textbook, the words on the page seems to be 'magical', blurring a bit. "No, no, I can't sleep, I need to wake up" Hana mumbled while shaking her head, trying to get refreshed. However, after a few minutes, she started to doze off again...

Shaking her head once more, Hana caught sight of something on the corner of the desk, it was some words, but the black ink with the dark brown desk blended quite well. Then, Hana subtly leaned in, reading the words.
Greetings from 1st hour - History of Magic
Hello, hour just after. Who are you?
Hi, I'm one hour after you. ~P
Seems like an anonymous conversation. Hana thought to herself. Then, Hana decided to join the chat, opening the lid of her inkwell and dipped her quill in it.

And there she wrote:
hi, I'm in the 4th hour. - H.S.

I see the way you're acting like you're somebody else. Gets me frustrated

One of Graci's favorite classes was History of magic, after Charms and Flying, of course.

There was something intriguing about being able to see the bigger picture. Sometimes, though, she had to remember that the people she learned about had lives and motivations as well. She didn't really remember what hour it was, she hadn't gotten good sleep and was preoccupied with... other thoughts.

It's not that big of a deal... you can decide in the summer. Ask mom and dad what they think about it. I really hope I can though....

Lost in her thoughts and not at all thinking about the lesson her eyes snagged on something scrawled onto the desk. She decided to write back.
I honestly can't remember what hour it is, how are my fellow desk mates? -G.L.
Graci kept it short-ish and sweet, and hoped the desk didn't write back. That would've been weird. But not the weirdest thing she had seen here.

I wonder who they are. Maybe we could all be friends, though I don't know how we'd figure out who each other are.

Graci tried to focus on the lesson, but now two things were on her mind, making it near impossible to concentrate.

Mahlioz was one of the very few students they knew who half-enjoyed History of Magic. It wasn't always the most interesting of classes, but it was rather pleasant to get to sit down and just learn about stories from the past. It was like reading books, almost. And sometimes it even gave them inspiration for their own stories. History was cool.

However, only two minutes into the class, they were distracted by a bunch of writing on the side of their desk. Quite a lot of it, really, and in five different handwritings. Oh, gods. Mahlioz didn't like this. It was against the rules to write on desks, wasn't it? And the students had paper, they could doodle on there - but wait. At a closer inspection, it wasn't just doodles or the usual inapropriate words. These students were having a conversation, across time and classes. Okay, this was perhaps more interesting than History of Magic. Though the conversation didn't seem to be going anywhere. At least these kids knew better than to write down their names while breaking rules.

Weirdly enough, Mahlioz was compelled to join them. Breaking rules was something she always stayed away from, and whenever it happened it was always a friend's fault, but... well, this was innocent, and it was actually quite cool. But she didn't want to get caught, and she didn't want her desk-mates to either. An Illegibilus might have done the trick, but she had no idea what year these students were, so there was the possibility that they didn't know Revelio. So she chose the next best thing, and whispered, "Reducio," to make the handwriting a bit smaller and less noticeable. Thankfully the entire table did not shrink, only the writing.

Then, of course, they had to add a message of their own, in green ink because it was a good signature in and of itself:
Nice to meet you all! I'm doing well, how are you?
