Slytherin vs Gryffindor: Match 5
There goes the comeback. Pyxis watched as his Knockback Jinx missed Sere by a mile. In fact, the lion looked unharmed by anything, which was odd considering who the snakes’ target was. Pondering over the probability that they all missed, he wasn’t ready to be caught in the radius of Draven’s misfired crackers. He squeaked as the toys popped against his skin, barely registering the elimination of the third year.

Slytherin vs Gryffindor: Match 5
Siobhan watched in both amazement and shock as the slytherin team had such a spectacular spell failure. Even she wasn’t able to cause such damage to herself when it came down to casting a spell like that. she hoped that they were OK, but it didn’t seem like they were going to be. Draven had knocked himself unconscious. Matt stood somewhat dazed and Pyxis just looked like he was confused.

Slytherin vs Gryffindor: Match 5
The Slytherin's luck was so bad, Theo had started to question reality itself. He pinched himself to check if he was dreaming, eventually coming to the conclusion that he was not. After firing off his spell and watching the absolute shambles of their opponents spell casting, the boy turned to Sere with a simple shrug. The least the Gryffindors could do was end this quickly not to prolong their embarrassment.

Aston watches on as the duellists keep going at it, the Gryffindor team seem almost fuelled by the success of their spells in these past rounds and kept up with their vigour. Dodging both knock back jinxes cast by the two remaining Slytherin duelists. Theo, the target of both of their spells, especially did well, looking as if he saw one of the spells coming from a mile away and swiftly getting out of the way, despite his typically lesser adequacy for the skill. Maybe the Slytherins thought he would be an easier target? Whatever their plan was it did not seem to work, and their luck only worsened from there.
Both Siobhan and Theo took aim at Pyxis, against Theo's jinx he dodged quite nicely, replicating the success Theo has against his jinx. Siobhan did have more luck though, the spells being just enough to hit Pyxis and knocking him back several metres. But that wasn't quite as back as Matthew, as he took the hit from Sere the boy got knocked unconscious, much in the same manner as Draven did previously. Similar to before, Aston stopped the duellists and stepped in, ensuring that Matthew was sent to the infirmary. Taking a look at all the remaining duellists, Aston took a breath and said, "You all ready? Okay, resume!"

Slytherin vs Gryffindor: Match 5
Siobhan let out an audible gasp as she watched Matthew crumple to the ground unconscious and had to physically stop herself from running across the dueling floor to check on him. Despite their strained friendship, seeing her friend hurt even in a duel he allowed himself to participate in sent shivers down her spine and hurt her deeply as she worried that he was truly more hurt than it seemed. She watched as he was carried away to the infirmary and made a mental note to visit him later with some snacks and an apology even though she hadn’t delivered the final blow to him. Pyxis had been her target and was the final obstacle standing in her way of victory with her teammates for the end of the year.

It hit squarely, sending Matthew to the Hospital Wings to accompany Draven who was already there. The girl could hear Siobhan's grasp right as Matthew fell, but she couldn't do anything to make herself look nicer. She realized that her role today was not much different from the Grim Reaper who became the final trial for the Vipers.
Standing in front of them now was the last standing duellist. Sere exhaled, her memory brought her to the previous match, "Déjà vu... Oh no," she looked at her two teammates, both were standing strong beside her, "This is gonna be worse than before." She meant it for Pyxis, of course. "Right, let's finish this quickly."WC : 126/50

Slytherin vs Gryffindor: Match 5
It was time for the Gryffindors to all rally on the remaining Slytherin duellist in a scene eerily similar to their last battle. There was no pity in Theo's expression, as far as he was concerned the best duellists won and everything was right in the world. The only words of consolidation the young boy could offer was. "Sorry, mate." As he raised his wand to deal the final blow.

Slytherin vs Gryffindor: Match 5
Pyxis dragged his hands down his face and then brought them to his hips, staring at the three Gryffindors with disdain. “Ugh! Take me down first next time, will you?” He’d been the last standing of the three snakes twice in a row, with two different teams. There was nowhere else for the lions’ spells to go. He was their sole target and he was sure that no one would blame him if he decided to concede here. But, thanks to this very team, Pyxis had gotten his first taste of being knocked unconscious in the last stage. Honestly, it wasn’t so bad, and maybe facing the pain of it would remind him to train harder for next year’s matches.

At this point Aston is just being impressed by how well Pyxis is taking all this. The duel was most likely coming to an end soon, with the majority of Slythrin's duelists knocked out unconscious. Aston hoped they wouldn't have too bad of a time dealing with injuries. He may not be a duelist but his falls during his quiddich practice certainly hurt a whole lot, surely its similar with dueling. All those hits from the knockback jinx looked like they hurt, and those higher year's duels have some weird spells. Wasn't there one that literally summoned a storm cloud that would strike your opponents with lighting? That would probably be a pain to deal with, magic healers sure are great to have.
But back to the duel, the lone Slytherin casts a knockback jinx - definitely the most popular spell in this duel - and sadly misses. Even towards the end fate is unkind to the snakes. Aston watched as Theo dodged the spell, and returning it with one of his own. With Pyxis as the last one standing it was clear who would be the target of all the spells this time round. Sere, Theo, Siobhan, all of them cast Flipendo, and perhaps it was due to the number of spells or something else, Pyxis couldn't quite dodge most of them. He had enough time to react to and evade Theo's spell but that was about it, both Siobhan and Sere hit, knocking the dueling captain down. To be frank Aston was surprised when he got back up, after a hit like that he was prepared to step in once more, but it seems that was not needed.

Slytherin vs Gryffindor: Match 5
Made by Raizel Voltrouz
Date : May 3rd, 2025 Color code : Written|Thought|Said One thing Sere liked about Pyxis was his will to survive until the very end, felt so familiar because she lived the same spirit. Putting aside his explicit despair at having to be the last standing for two matches back-to-back, Pyxis still tried to cast a Knockback Jinx which unfortunately came back to him three times as much. "Sorry," Sere whispered so that no one could hear her.
Gryffindor had sealed their victory, so with a heavy heart and not wanting to prolong the discomfort inside herself, Sere had locked her next -and probably last- action before winning this match.WC : 100/50
