Stalking the Big Boys
Erin was supposed to be in class. It was likely that her transgression would not go unnoticed, however she did not care. She lived in detention for the most part and as of yet they have not invented "double-detention" and she was not about to give any of them any ideas. She was stalking someone, well to be more specific she was stalking Hugh Lowe. Hugh, a part-giant that Erin was near certain was in on the part-giant uprising. Ever since their meeting in the abandoned bath last year she has not been able to get the now second-year out of her mind, but the thoughts about him were hardly sentimental. Paranoia had gripped the young Slytherin's mind as she considered the very real possibility that the missing students had met a terrible end at his or Quinn's massive hands.
There was a rumor that possibly the part giant had joined the Quidditch Team, his massive size would make for a powerful beater. She decided to abandon her lessons for the sake of discovery and monitor the Quidditch Pitch. She did not look like she was there to play Quidditch but she had a broom at her side, in case she needed to pursue the madman. If she had the opportunity to take Hugh down, she would not hesitate. Hugh would live another day, he was not here at this time, much to Erin's annoyance.
Erin's object of non-romantic obsession would get another note in her book. She had started to keep notes, her notes gleaned absolutely nothing about Hugh. It was mostly her maddened scribbles and theories.
She would see one red coat in particular, she did not know his name (Kyle) and she would stand up and wave him over. She (with a wisdom of 3) had an idea...

She added another line -- "not a quidditch player". She was of course wrong, but she was wrong about a lot of things. Her green eyes would scan the field, she did not see any other giants down there. Were there any Prefects? Not that she could see. Just a few red coats. She would clap the book closed and slide it into her bag.![]()

Stalking the Big Boys
Kyle as usual had made his way out to the Quidditch pitch early and began to practice. Flying drills around the pitch, maneuverability through the rings, speed and reaction by dropping a quaffle and catching it while also not crashing into the ground. He may have been a beater but he was doing everything he could to be as well rounded of a player as possible. Or atleast be somewhat passable in areas that were not his.
He landed and dismounted his Tinderblast and took the equipment he took from the shed and locked it back up, as usual the pitch and shed must always look good. He respected the game too much for anything else.
As he was walking back across the pitch, daydreaming about what foods would be waiting for him inside the great hall he noticed motion out of of the corner of his eye. It was a girl, Slytherin one at that with what looked like indigo hair? Or was it just the lighting? He cocked and eyebrow and walked closer to her, running a hand through his own wild hair to get it out of his eyes.
”you need something? Why not just walk out and say so?” he looked and then crouched slightly and lowered his voice ”are you hiding from someone?”

Stalking the Big Boys
She waved down the future ladies man, @Kyle DeRook, Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch Team. Did he have a bit of a reputation? Perhaps, but the Slytherin knew him simply as the "Redcoat Captain." He saw her, he also obliged his call. His greeting, not particularly cordial but it also lacked the apprehension and aggression she had grown accustomed to. "Hmm... you never heard of me?" She pondered the queer nature of this fact a moment before concluding that such as a novelty "...neat."
Erin was known as a deviant and a bully by most of her peers, prefects and Professors. She had a pretty face, average if not slightly tall build, but she stood out with her dyed indigo hair. It was purposeful, the bright color and the school uniform. Erin was not particularly intelligent but she was manipulative and cunning. She wanted to be noticed, if she wanted to blend in she would have donned a nondescript pair of mud-blood jeans and a plain shirt. She wanted her house to be known, for prying eyes to recognize that she was from Slytherin. The bright hair to identify who she was from that den of snakes. She did not want to be lost or forgotten, forsaken like the dozens who disappeared that nobody noticed. That was why she was not just another blonde.
A fearless youth compelled by fear and paranoia, how ironic.
"Quidditch Captain?" She confirmed, not a Prefect either her mind echoed. She did not trust them, they were all in on it. "I am Erin Ryan," she gave her true name. She did not fear been known more than being forgotten. "I play for Slytherin, I was just watching you play," she claimed. A ballsy truth had she been aware of the second year's bully reputation, she could have skipped the formalities and started punching. She had a passing interest in Quidditch, there were bigger concerns than house points and scores in her case. "I was hoping to see one of your housemates fly, Hugh Lowe," an actual truth that she could care less about sharing. Much like the believably of her reasons. Maybe she just liked big men. "I plan on kicking his ass," she claimed with a characteristic nonchalance. Today there would be no lies.
She did not give Kyle a reason, she would tell him if she was asked but such details seemed like a waste of breath at this point. The madness of the teen was not bound to secrecy. "Does he play for you or am I wasting my time here?"

Kyle cocked an eyebrow. Should he have heard of her? She wasn't from his house, and he didn't recall hearing things about some purple haired chick...who was surprisingly attractive. Wait no, focus. Kyle shook his head. "uh yeah no. Never heard of you. Should I have?"
Similar to the girls cloths he was also wearing a pair of jeans, his on bit on the tattered side, his usual black boots loosely tied, and he was wearing a black shirt with "I have 99 problems, but a snitch ain't one" with an image of a Golden Snitch with a net over it. His hair was a wild mess of dark brown hair, almost perpetually in his eyes no matter weather or not he pushed it away. The most noticable part of his appearance though would be the deep scar from his left cheek bone down to his left jaw line, an odd thing for a 12 year old boy to have.
The girl knew he was the Quidditch captain, and claimed to play for the Slytherin team. Perhaps San knew about this girl? he would need to ask later. Then the girl said something that really caught his attention. She was looking for Hugh and made her intent to kick his ass very clear. While normally he is all for a little bit of senseless violence, Hugh was no only a house mate. but also a member of his team.
Kyle's eyes narrowed "Yeah he plays for me, and if you want to go after someone on my Team, you are gonna have to go through me first'

"uh yeah no. Never heard of you. Should I have?"
"Guess not, glad I am less famous than I thought."
Erin was never one for sugar-coating things as she told Kyle her intentions to destroy Hugh Lowe, the Slytherin's Keeper. Of course the pretty little purple-haired girl likely did not appear threatening, at least to someone that did not know her or know of her. Kyle confirmed that Hugh was on the team, she frowned. Slytherin was playing Hufflepuff first. She had to take down Quinn first, she was hoping to break his legs in the first match of the year. Shame they were not all in the same house.
"Yeah he plays for me, and if you want to go after someone on my Team, you are gonna have to go through me first"
But sadly, Kyle was on Hugh's side. A half-smirk emerged on her face. Kyle looked for the most part pretty normal. He was certainly not a giant, perhaps a midget giant. She had not quite decided. Her passion, anger and fear clouded her judgement. She was quietly sizing him up. If it came down to it, could she take the werewolf in a fight, not that she knew he was a cursed child. Scar on the face, she was not entirely sure what that was from. Blemishes such as those were uncommon in the wizard world, especially when magic can be used as a means to eliminate most imperfections.
"Through you first," she repeated as her gaze ran over him a second time. There was a pause after she echoed his statement, then she would give him a nod and state. "Understood," she did not physically engage him yet. It was a futile effort - a defender or a partner, she did not know. She would have to find out before she carried on.
"So death witch? Working with the giants? Or just some guy getting himself in the wrong place at the worst time?" She asked, there was a lack of emotion in her voice as it lowered in tone. "You have to be one of the three and as much as I would hope it is for the later, I will go through you too if I have to." Her goal would know no diversion, at least a diversion made by Kyle. "I know that Quinn is eating people, I know that some of the Prefects are working with him. I know about the death witches, although I have no idea if they are working with or have their own deadly goals. I don't care to know which you are... not really. But my fists are getting sore from kicking so much ass, I would rather have a clear shot at the big guy."
