DADA Questions on Lessons

I just have a question regarding the homework for the 3rd lesson. There is a question I'm not sure I quite understand. The question says, "Name two ways Flipendo can be rebound in a duel and explain which one of them you would rather use and why. /4". So I don't really know what is meant with which one I would rather use...?
Hello Ms. Dwight,

in a duell, when throwing spell against spell, there are multiple ways to rebound a Knockback Jinx onto its caster. One of those methods was mentioned in the lesson, the other you need to do your research to find out. I would like to know which of the two spells you would prefer as a means to rebound a Flipendo in a duell.

I hope this explains your question.

Hello, there. I apologise if this interrupts anything, but I have a question regarding the RPG question on the first assignment. Can the person of whose POV we are using know many spells? If so, I would have him use one. I would just like some clarification, please.

Hello Ms. Riddle,

you are not interrupting at all, don't worry. Yes, the person from whose POV you write can know many more spells than a first year student. They can be an adult witch or wizard for example and as such now quite a lot of spells. It's absolutely fine for such a character to use a spell they are capable of.

Please forgive me, I'm 100% new to the RP world and still trying to figure it all out.
I'm on your first lesson rule 1 has me quite confused.
Keep anonymity in all pieces of work! If you want to, you can use an alias however. If you do, then mention it at the top of any RP answer you give. You will lose points if you don't.
How do you RP without giving the Character a name?

See I think that this means don't play our own Character. (like my Character is Circe, so I shouldn't play her. But then you say you can use an alias and suddenly I wonder if I'm supposed to play as my character just using a different name and I don't understand. Are we supposed to swap gender for the character we use in homework?
I'm sorry, I just really don't get it :/

Hello Ms. Pyro,

you can stay anonymous in an RP by using an alias. This means replacing the name of your character with another name. This way I will be unable to tell your identity from your RP. All homework needs to be anonymous, as the quote says.

Also keep in mind what the RP question asks of you. The fourth questions in DADA Lesson 1 for First Year students for example says.
Write an RPG of at least 300 words where someone encounters one or multiple Imps. Don't forget to describe their appearance and behaviour.
You can write the RP from your student's point of you since the question allows for that, but if  you do so you need to keep anonymous, as the rule says. In that case you would need to replace your own character name with an alias to stay unknown during the grading.  You write this alias at the top of your answer so I will know that is in fact an alias, and not you writing under your own character name.

I hope that answers your question.

Hello professor.
Will there be a boggart thread lead by you in relation to the homework lesson? I don't want to start one myself cause I thought maybe you want might want to do it.
If you haven't, I was thinking you just making an opening post and we all reply our boggart experiences one by one. I'd personally love that.
Or I can do it, I just don't know the setting Aoi would make for it and such.
Thank you for reading, I'm not pushing you to make a thread for me, just an idea.

Hi, I have a question if you don’t mind.
In the second lesson with the 300 word essay, do we have to write about someone encountering a Ghost or can we write about someone encountering a Non-Being?

As this is one of the lessons created by me I will answer your question.
Write an RPG of at least 300 words where someone (this can be a student, an adult etc.) encounters a Ghost for the first time. Don't forget to describe the Ghost's appearance and mannerism.
It clearly asks for a ghost, not a non-being, so please write about a ghost.
