In The Moment
[font=PT Serif]When the waters came, so did the young Hufflepuff in full stride to greet it like a friend. But he didn't come alone this time, he had dragged out a fellow student to go with him. Perhaps she would enjoy it, maybe she wouldn't, but he knew he would. Reid liked to share, despite not even owning a single lick of the rainfall. The wizard turned back to Rosie, who he left underneath the safety of cover. [/font]
[font=PT Serif]"Come on, Parker! You're seriously going to waste a good day under a canopy?!" he shouted. A pair of hands fell from his face, having been cupped earlier to deliver his taunts and jeers at the female Hufflepuff in full magnitude. Maybe one day, he'll be able to learn how to amplify his voice using magic. He started on the path in the grounds, whether she followed or not was up to her, Reid made most of his days an adventure. [/font]
[font=PT Serif]Sometimes he'd find something odd, other times, he'd be practicing magic under the pretense that it would look cooler in the rain. Well in all honesty, didn't everything look cooler in the rain? His activities kept his mind going, he didn't think about what happened and what was going to happen. All that mattered to him was now, no grandfather to appease, no uncle talking in his ear, and grandmother to disappoint. [/font]
[font=PT Serif]He was him again for today and that's all he wanted to feel. Mud caked his shoes, his shirt hugged him as it became soaked, his brown hair clumped at different ends as his eyes fixated on the ground. His brows would crease endlessly as he tried to tread lightly, noting the paths he would take, bearing in mind that he should try not to slip. [/font]

In The Moment
Rosie had been having a rough couple of days.
She hadn't been particularly excited about doing anything other than homework, and being in her common room. Which, at some point, her lovely friend Reid noticed. She didn't have much of a choice in the matter, because the next thing she knew, Reid had grabbed her hand and started tugging her out of the castle. There was no point in resisting, Reid could've carried her if he wanted to. She nodded reluctantly and went along with him, anxious as they entered through the corridors and passed the stairwell to the dungeon.
They reached the outside and Rosie watched the rain for a bit. She nearly stumbled over the wet grass as they reached a cover. Rosie hugged her arms slightly and watched Reid dash out to the open grass, and it made her smile. Despite everything, it made her happy to see her friends happy. Their friendship had been stronger than ever this year. First year they were strangers, and the second year they were only starting to bond towards the end of it. She couldn't call him her best friend yet, but he had the potential. It was just the fact none of them really knew anything about each other.
She was snapped out of her thoughts when Reid yelled to her, and she made a face at him. A pout and furrowed eyebrows, but with a hint of a smile, showing she was kidding. Maybe she should just... Relax! Rosie rolled out her shoulders and took a breath. "Stop whining, I'm coming!" She yelled, before breaking off into a sprint. Her hair was shorter, but her curls still went nuts when she ran anywhere. She shoved Reid lightly as she ran past him, grinning. She slowed down when she did, deciding to walk with him. She wiped some rain off her face and smiled up at Reid. He was tall enough for Rosie to lift her head, but not nearly as tall as Quinn.
"This is what you do when it rains, then?" She asked. "Not that I'm judging, I've just never seen you run out in a sprint whenever there's a sprinkle outside."
