A Beautiful Discovery
Anomili has been walking around exploring for what seems like 10 minutes, in all actuality it is practically past curfew, but at this point she could care less. This is what she dreamed of all of her life, this is where she had wanted to be since her mother told her about it what seemed like ages ago.
As she runs her hands along the curviture of each crevice of the walls she finds a huge door. Wooden, sturdy, and again, HUGE. Now, she was an okay sized girl but this door had her by hundreds of feet. She scanned the door and laughed a bit in her head as she imagined how dumb she would look as she would try to open this door. So, per her idea she did as such.
She heaved with all of her little Ravenclaw might to try to burst through this door but seemed to only manage to crack it open a slight bit. "Good enough" she managed to muster with heavy breaths. She slipped inside, making sure to tense up her body as not to even touch the door (she was not fond of it as this particular moment) and almost fully fell backwards to what she saw.
A gigantic ballroom, she gathered, with hundreds of tables lining the rectangular room. A singular stage that could equate to perhaps 100 stages put together from her hometown. On top of all of this, beautiful and colorful decorations of all sorts that had seem to not be taken down from the previous event held there. Seemingly a winter party, there are flowers of blue, white, and silver, pine wreths and garlin hanging from the corners of the room, beautiful crystals that looked too shiny to be actual ice, and what seemed to be real icycles hanging from everywhere. Anomili ran her fingers down one of the icycles and surprisingly there was no cold feeling to it.
"Every second Hogwarts, you amaze me." Anomili laughs to herself.

A Beautiful Discovery
A short red-headed girl sat perched on one of the many tables in the enormous room, feet dangling as she kicked them back and forth. She was looking around the room in awe, and every time she saw something particularly interesting her feet would kick back and forth faster, as if they were in their own hurricane.
"Every second, Hogwarts you amaze me." Eris angled her head to the side, hearing a girl's voice and faint laughter. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a girl around her age in Ravenclaw robes holding an icicle.
Eris coughed loudly, smiling pleasantly at the other girl. "It's quite astounding isn't it? I was reading about this ballroom in Hogwarts, A History so I thought to come here myself." Eris hopped down from the table, landing gracelessly on her knees.
Getting up and shaking the dust off of her, Eris again studied the other girl. "I know why I'm in here, but why are you wandering alone in the corridors near curfew?" Eris's eyes gleamed with excitement. Perhaps another student who enjoyed exploring the vast hallways of Hogwarts. All the other first years in did Gryffindor didn't get nearly as lost as Eris always did.
Eris pratically beamed at the other red-headed girl, waiting for her responce.

Mikale rushed down the corridor, huffing as he did so. Without really looking at where he was, he slipped through a door barely open and threw his back against it, shoving until it shut with a loud click. He bent over, panting, as he tried to catch his breath. Finally standing as he brushed his hair out of his eyes, he froze. There in front of him was another girl. "Uhhh..." he swallowed, taking a deep breath. "The prefects have started their rounds. I saw one coming and just... ran...." He trailed off sheepishly.
Then he noticed the room. "Wow." He murmured, looking up and spinning slowly as he took in the huge room, having still not noticed the other girl from his house. "What is this place?" He wondered out loud, amazed at the sheer size and beauty of the room. "It almost seems like a place long forgotten." He added as he looked down, again, finally noticing Eris. "Oh, hello. Sorry, I didn't see you there." He added with a grin. "I wonder why they never took all this down." He added, looking up once more. It really did seem like a forgotten world with all the decorations still hanging, and the dust in the room.
