✽Avery had to get away from everything. She was exhausted after all the events of the month and she could barely focus on anything but her grandfather. Maybe that's why she had come to the grounds. It could be busy, but it could also be empty. And it looked like it was empty for the moment, though Avery knew that could change in a matter of seconds.
Avery wasn't sure what she was going to do out here. She was closer to the castle, so she wasn't sure if anyone could even see her if she came out. Or maybe they would? Either way, she didn't know what she would do. Though deep down she realized that she didn't really want to be alone at the moment. She had learned that surrounding herself with friends helped the pain and suffering become more bearable.
That's when she saw them. A group of girls coming towards her. She walked a little more and let the warmth of the sun caress her as she waited to see how the girls would react. If they just walked past and didn't want to chat, Avery would be fine with that, but she had a different feeling. A feeling that deep down she knew they would all end up friends by the end of the day.

Graci had been just walking outside, as she found herself doing most days, when she was just... enveloped by a group of girls. Not quite noticed, but still there. Huh, that's weird. Who just joins a group of people walking. I wonder if they have a destination. I hope not. That would be awkward when they got their.
She didn't realize that she was staying with them but it was fine by her.
She pondered back on earlier, her journal cover was behaving weird. Usually it was just a plain colour and then her name at the bottom, but small images were overtaking the cover. One day a hand-drawn image of the sun, another a fox like the one from some of the myths she was told during the summer. It was quite puzzling but she figured weirder things had happened in the wizarding world. Henceforth she paid it no heed.
Eventually it was time to make her presence known, "Do you guys have a destination or are y'all just walking around?"
'Y'all' wasn't the most conventional thing she could've said but it was that or 'you guys' so.... her grammar wasn't always the best but that wasn't the worst of her worries. Which was surprising because she didn't have many worries to compete with that. Other than Zoe, of course.
Zoe was her most constant worry, and yet Graci had only sought her out a few times.
