It probably takes a lot for this boy to ever stop sneezing, and his sneezing sounds said it all. As he followed the boy to the hospital wing, he tried to get the attention of the main nurse, Nurse Barnes. [Actual character] As he waited for the nurse to respond, he looked around, other than the sneezing of the boy, their was also a LOT of beds. Andy was only here 2 times a year ago, and he forgot how it is like. When the boy got on a bed, he seemed so tired that he could not blow his nose anymore. The boy walked up to the first year. You must be really allergic to whatever was on the spines of those books. Quick question, what book did you ask me to grab for you, like, what is it about? Said Andy. He all said that pretty fast, since he was waiting for a answer from the nurse. But really, it would be dreadful lying here all day...
And trust me, Andy had enough of the expierience... And for some reason the book that Andy gave to the boy STILL smelled like cottage cheese. [No offense]

Gem sighed inaudibly when the boy started asking questions. Sure, he’d been a good help (not that Gemini would ever admit that, at least not soon) and under any other circumstances he would be happy to talk herpetology, especially with a Ravenclaw. But for some reason the only thing he felt right now was mild annoyance. Okay, maybe he was still a little excited, but that didn’t count!

“It’s a herpetology book. Herpetofauna are reptiles and amphibians, you know, snakes and turtles and frogs and all.” he answered, the slight sparkle in his eyes disguised by the allergic tears. Although with the congestion in his nose, it came out more like “Id’s a herpedology book. Herpetofauda are rebdiles ad amphibiads, you dow, sdages ad turtles ad frogs ad all.”

Gemini turned to stifle the next couple of sneezes, turning in the opposite direction and pinching his pink, chapped nose tight shut, despite the fact that the Wing was somehow empty except for Gem, Andy and a few nurses - “H’chmpf! Ht’chx! chx, chxt, chxt! Heh- hhH! Heh’tscch!” - and effectively keeping the allergens in the reddened appendage.

Thinking that this fit was over for now, he began to say “gods, this is annoyi-!” only to be caught off guard by a final, lingering but powerful “hur-ESCHOO!”

He didn’t mange to block it in time, and some amount of light spray hit Andy.

“I- I’m sorry.” Gem stammered, flustered.

Andy previously asked about what type of book the first year had and it was about reptiles and all of that stuff. It was a while since Andy saw normal animals. Back in the muggle world, his rich family rented a zoo for a day just for Andy and his brother, MaxwellOh... I kind of miss Max... Said Andy in a little tone. He just realized that he said it out loud. Even though ti was embarrising, it was not as bad as getting spray from someone's nose into your face. Uh... uhh wha... The boy whipped off some of the spray off his face, then turned back to the boy. He really needed some allergy medicine, and Andy needed a tissue, since he gave ALL of them too the boy. Please... just cover up your nose... Said Andy taking out his wand. He pointed at his face and yelled, Scourgify! Finally, the spray was off of him in a second. Impressed, huh? Don't worry you will learn this sooner or later. Andy chuckled. It took a second for Andy to realize that the nurse still did not answer. Jeez, these nurses are pretty busy...

The boy kept on sneezing and sneezing, to the point that it was so bad that he started making jokes. Poor kid... Andy thought. Well, I can't just look at you and watch you suffer, just like you said in your joke said Andy makign the quotiation mark symbol when he said the word "joke". Well, we might as well talk about our biggest hot takes. For example, I think that there are two holes in a straw. I'm not sure if you know what a straw is, but it is a muggle thing. I am a muggle born, so I know. So know, what is your biggest hot take, something that you believe is true but others think that is not. While Andy was waiting for the boy to answer, he looked all around the hospital wing. In drawers, more drawers, and even MORE DRAWERS. The more he looked, the more he started to rage a bit. Where could the medicine be? Andy doesn't have any spells to et rid f the boys allergy, but there must be something. When he noticed a glimpse of the medicine, a smile spread across his face, but of course, Andy had to lighten up the mood by impressing the boy with another spell. Hey, look over here! Andy took the medicine and threw it up into the air, then yelled, Arresto Momentum! That made the medicine jar slow down and slowly fall right into Andy's hand. Voila! Andy said, while throwing the medicine to the boy. That is also a spell you will learn.

Gem laughed a little at the boy’s remark about his ‘joke’.

“Glad you noticed it was a joke,” he replied, mimicking Andy’s quote-mark gesture on the word joke.

Maybe he’s not so annoying after all. Wait and see, though; wait and see. Lots of people act charming or helpful when they think you’ve got something to give. he thought.

But it’s not as if you have anything to give. Useless. whispered another, nagging voice at the back of his head.

“Well, just so you know, I’m a half-blood, and I grew up in muggle Scotland, so I know exactly what a straw is, thank you very much,” he remarked dryly.

“As for my hot takes, we’ll, I personally think that plain water does have taste, from my own experiences.”

He watched Andy for a while. “What’re you doing?” he asked. His eyes widened in surprise as Andy pulled out the medicine, barely catching the bottle when he threw it to Gem.

Gemini checked the label to make sure, and check the dose, then nodded to Andy.

“You got the right one. How did you know?” he asked, unscrewing the top and taking the dose written on the outside of the bottle.

As the boy barely catched the medicine, Andy decided to answer Gemini's question about how he knew about the type of medicine Gem needed. To answer your question, I went to a very rich muggle school in Scotland, since me and my family are incredibly wealthy, and the schools provides courses about all of this medicine stuff. That's how I know. Andy took a deep breath, since he said this whole sentence in one go, and began talking again. Plus, I think your catching skills need a little work. You will be a great add on for your house's Quidditch team, and you might be a keeper, like me. I can teach you, if you want, for free. Said Andy. Then Andy listened to Gem's hot take, that Andy did not totally agree on. Then prove it. What does water taste like in the first place? Andy thought. Saying this sentence out loud would ruin the whole point of hot takes, since hot takes are opinions of other people, not facts. Do you need some water? Sadly, I do not have any spells for making water, but how does tap water sound? Here. Said Andy handing over some water from a tap in a big mug.

“Somehow, you look like you came from a rich school in Scotland,” Gemini remarked, then grimaced. “Okay, sorry, that came out wrong. I tend to say the wrong thing, so…”

Gem was surprised at Andy’s offer about the Quidditch team.

Was that a compliment? Should I return one?

“Well, just so you know, if there’s any issue with my catching, that’s because I wasn’t expecting you to throw a glass bottle halfway across the room,” he deflected dryly. “As for joining the Quidditch team, that’s a new one. Haven’t thought about it before. If I do, I’ll definitely ask you about it though. Thanks.”

Gem stood up, brushing off his robes and still a little embarrassed at the… evidence, of the encounter on his sleeve.

He nodded his thanks when Andy brought the cup of water. He sipped at it, wondering what next to talk about.

Now that he thought about it, Andy really wasn’t bad at all, and Gem honestly felt kind of guilty for pushing him away in the beginning, and he would like to talk with him more.

Gem went through a few of the general conversation starters in his head.

The boy's allergy seemed to get better; that thought in Andy's head just made him happier than ever. For the first time, Gem was the one to make a conversation starter. What my favorite animal, you say? Well... I have to go with a raven, since me, myself is a Ravenclaw. What about you? Stated the boy as he walked around the hospital wing, admiring the huge quantity of beds, lamps, and medicine bottles. I don't think that there are any nurses in the hospital wing at this moment... Luckily, I found the medicine Gem needed! Then, it was Andy's turn to make a question. What is your favorite subject? I like potions the most.
Not only did Andy like potions, he loved learning and making them too. So much ingredients, and so much to learn about them. For instance, if you boil a potion for 25 seconds and not 24, then the whole cauldron, or even the classroom might be sent into flames! That is all of the fun in potions, and Andy was dying to find out what Gem had to say. It seemed like all of that sneezing and talking was going on for forever, it started in the library, and it is still going on right here, in the hospital wing.
