"Oh, you are in here. Good, um... May I come in? I have something to show you--well, let you feel anyway. As for my idea," Heather paused, thinking over how to word her plan and her problem. "Reading normal textbooks is very hard for me, and my handwriting is terrible and too slow to be any use in a classroom. I could do better with braille, but braille books are a literal giant pain to be carrying around all day, and I don't think any of the other teachers can read braille. I was a stubborn fool last year, struggling all through classes, and it cost me graduating to the second year."

She paused for breath, then continued more calmly, "I brought my braille typewriter to school with me this year to do my work on. But that still doesn't help with my reading problems, or with turning in my homework so that the teachers can read it. Do you know a spell that can translate one written language into another? My idea was that maybe I could use that on my homework and books to switch from braille to standard text and back." She thought about it some more, then added, "Would I be better off asking the charms professor about this?"

Cy listened intently as Heather spoke, ticking down the details like bullet points in her mind. "Of course you can come in," she confirmed, with a tone that let her know that for all that she cared in the world she could've sat on the floor in front of her and Cy still wouldn't care. There was a reason why nobody could come into the Transfiguration classroom while Cy wasn't inside - safety, of course - but there was also a reason why there were no limitations on anyone poking their head in when she was.

Self-awareness was a precious trait, though often missing from younger, brasher students. She could appreciate it even if it came later than would be ideal. The young woman accepted Heather's words with a nod, noting to tell her classes not to shy away from using words along the lines of 'see' or 'show' in front of her - honestly, if the number of times that she joked about it was any indication, she really didn't care. She was happy to see you too. "A Perkins Brailler, hmm?" she repeated, setting her folded hands on the desk. "That'll be useful. A bit heavy to carry around sometimes, but it's a good solution.

"If you want a way to help with your reading, there is a spell that can read the text aloud for you - but I can't teach it to you yet, not without incredible safety risks. However, I'm pretty sure all of the teachers already know the spell, so if you asked any of them - myself included - after class, I'm sure they would be happy to cast the spell for you and let you work in their classroom if you wanted. That was how I got through school. As for writing, you can go ahead and type in braille without consequence. Some of the professors might not know how to read braille, but all of them know how to translate it. Again, I can't teach you the spell, but they all already know how to cast it, and it's no trouble to just translate when they need to grade the homework, then translate it back into braille for you."

Brionna needed to hide.

The game of hide and seek had started, though she knew close to nothing about navigating the school grounds. The girl ended up on the fifth floor, somehow and was simply wondering around for the time being. She looked for a place to hide, but saw a doorway covered in beads, acting as a curtain of sorts. In dealing with her little brother's snooping, Brionna found that these types of entrances act as a alarm system as well, the noise notifying others of a new presence.

Momentarily forgetting her need to hide, overcome by her curiosity, the Ravenclaw snooped closer to the room. Once a few steps away, she realized with a start it was the Transfiguration classroom. She had yet to meet the teacher, and wondered about the class. What exactly did one do in a "Transfiguration" class? From the name, Brionna assumed the it had something to do with changing one thing into something completely unrelated, though she was confused on how exactly this occurred. Was it like charms class, were they practiced with wands? Or was it similar to potions were they used odd ingredients to get a specific outcome?

It was this curiosity that took the first year to the steps of the professor's entryway. How was she supposed to enter? Did she knock, or call out? Did she even remember the professor's name? Suddenly struck by the last thought, Brionna paled. "I remember thinking of bicycles when I read the name... Cy... Cy... Cypresse! Cypresse Lian! That's it!" proud to have remembered the Professors name, the brunette returned to the problem at hand- How to enter?"

Another shock went through her- the game! How could she forget? Was she really willing to leave behind the chance to talk to the Professor over a chocolate frog? The answer was no, of course. The chance to learn something new seemed way more valuable than an object that would only bring her a few minutes of enjoyment. Though she didn't admit it often, Brionna was still competitive at heart. She knew the rules for the game was to remain in the spot you choose, so she came to the conclusion that she would hide here, and get to ask some questions about the subject, even possibly more so about the wizarding world in general.

Nodding to herself as she came to a conclusion, the Ravenclaw nervously held up a hand and softly knocked against the outer door frame. Nervously, she called in, her voice quiet and much more meek than she wished it to be, "E-excuse me? Professor? Is it alright for me to come in?" Cringing inwardly at her own stutters, Brionna begin to think of as many questions as possible, also secretly glad she was so disorganized that she kept notes as her books marks. She pulled out a book she had been re-reading about wand woods and shuffled through them as she awaited the Professor's reply.

Ten chocolate frogs on the line.
Kara only had one chocolate frog from a girl named Griseldis Edelhardt, and now she wanted them all. As soon as the others had disappeared, she ran into the direction where she heard the most footstep run towards.
She looked at the piece of paper that she had made that showed pictures of all the hiders. She smiled slyly, for she had found a piece of curly, blackish-brown hair on her way to the Transfiguration classroom.
"Great, Transfiguration." Kara thought to herself.
Kara wasn't all that good at Transfiguration, and every attempt she took still did nothing to raise her grade from a big fat D, to Kara's disappointment.
Kara peered into the classroom and saw Professor Lian. Kara then felt even more uncomfortable. She was a little uneasy to go into the classroom of her worst subject with the professor in it.
She sighed to herself and pushed the door open quietly and snuck up behind the girl, who's name she now knows is Brionna, thanks to the paper she had made to help her.
She looked at Cypresse and the others in the classroom and mouthed the words,
"Sorry, this is just for a game, don't give me detention, please."
Kara looked back at the back of Brionna's head, smiling shrewdly.
She leaped onto Brionna's back, almost knocking her down.
"Found you, Brionna!" She yowled.
She got off of Brionna's back and then said,
"It would be best for you to go back to Jorah so he can know I found you."
Kara then said goodbye to the others and ran off to find the others.

The tackle nearly brought Brionna to the floor.

Startled and slightly panicked until she heard the loud voice of Kara next to her ear. After declaring her found and recommending she return to Jorah, Kara quickly left to find the others. Brionna was slightly disappointed she had lost so quickly, but knew that it was her choice of trying to learn and hide that likely caused it. She simply couldn't pass the opportunity to meet the famed Transfiguration teacher. Still waiting slightly outside the curtain to enter the room Brionna noticed with alarm that her bookmarks had fanned out when Kara jumped on her.

Thinking back on Kara's strange jump, she laughed lightly at her strangeness. Brionna had actually talked to Jorah, who she had seen hiding, and told him her plan. He said it was okay for her to stay there after hiding, as long as when she left she simply told him when she got out. The Ravenclaw was brought back to reality as some cards tried to fly away with a breeze. The girl quickly bent down to gather the cards with doodles, thoughts, notes, and other random things on them. She glanced back at the curtain which the teacher had yet to say something to let her know if to enter.

Maybe she was not in? Or she had seen what just happened and did not wish to have Brionna in her class now? That one really stuck in Brionna's head, seeing as she was nervous about it impairing her relationship with the teacher before even meeting. The girl decided to just keep waiting, "I'll wait a few more minutes..." she thought to herself quietly.

Alexander stood before the curtain of the office of Professor Lian. Hesitating, hands as if about to open the curtain but frozen in place. Alexander rapidly breathing in and out, adrenaline flowing through his bodies. His hands clammy and small amounts of sweat gathering under his armpits. Rapid breathing coming in and out.

Whilst he was standing there Alexander mentally berated/encouraged himself.
Why are you standing there Alexander, you are a wizard. You are a wizard, someone who can cast spells and do all kind of magical stuff. You should not be worried about something as simple as social embarrassment.
I mean it isn't as if she will awkwardly stare at you whenever you are near, she can't even see you because she can't see. The only risk you have is of always being embarrassed when you talk to her because of your stupid questions and being berated in front of class and being made fun of by the class.
Alexander breathed in............... and breathed out.

He carefully opened the curtain and took a moment to take in the Professor's office. The first thing he noticed was the ginormous table that took up most space in the room. Alexander was stunned for a moment and thought.
By Jove, that thing is almost as big as my own bed
The second thing he noticed were all of the canes and strip of fabric. Which he quickly connected to being the blindfolds and walking canes of the professor.

The third thing he noticed was the almost organized chaos on the desk.

As he stood there Alexander finally breathed out and said. "Uhm Professor Lian, I had a few questions about transfiguration I wanted to ask of you."

To which he immediately mentally berated himself
Of course you have questions about Transfiguration dummy. Why else would you be here?
