I looked around. The library was nearly empty save for a few stranglers. They looked like they were from Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. I ignored them. I had a mission. I looked around until I found the place that I was looking for. A shelve that was filled with books on Herbology. I loved Herbology. It was one of the classes that I was best at. Potions was fun, but Herbology was amazing. I loved the outdoors, hence I loved it when the lessons took place in a greenhouse. My grandmother, who was also a Gryffindor, had loved it as well when she was a student here. She had been overjoyed when she found out that I was getting all O's in class. Father's reaction had been different than what I expected. He was rather happy and told me that I could do great things in Herbology. I found the books that I was looking for on different shelf that was high up. High enough that I had to stretch on my toes to get up there.
I smiled at the titles. A Horticultural History of the Blackwood Maze, Goshawk's Guide to Herbology, Herbivicus spellbook, Hogwarts Castle: A History of Cultivated Fungus, and Magical Water Plants of the Highland Lochs.
All of them were advanced Herbology. I curled up in a seat in my little corner an began to read.
