Too late to stop the foolish Gryffindor from eating, Serena would stand there helplessly as Paracelsus chewed and swallowed the apple in his hand. His eyes would close in reverence as he took in the sweet and satisfying taste of the juices from the apple as they trickled down his throat and Serena would wait with bated breath as she watched the boy's reaction to his stupid decision to eat the fruit. She wouldn't have to wait for long as suddenly Paracelsus, who was taller than the girl, would start to shrink before her very eyes. Paracelsus' eyes would open as he realized that the apple in his hand was growing in size in his hand...his very small hand...until the fruit would fall to the grass beneath him with a THUMP as the boy would continue to shrink and shrink some more into his clothing.
Serena would watch the boy shrink until the teenager was nothing more than a pile of clothes...that was moving. Suddenly a small head would pop out of the clothes and gaze around in confusion and it would come to the Hufflepuff's realization that her partner in the maze, was now nothing more than a toddler. Paracelsus would gaze at the girl and realize that though he cannot do more than babble, he would still have the mental facilities of his older self.

Parcel laughed triumphantly in his mind as he chomped down on the apple. The taste was just as good as he had thought! He slowly chewed on the juicy wonderful meat… He… He fought for an apple? B-But its so good! Parcel kept chewing, his eyes closed as his mind was in ecstasy.
But the apple was getting heavier. No, no he was probably just turning weak from the taste. Parcel kept chewing… no, the weight was definitely getting heavier. But how? Was the apple turning bigger?
Parcel opened his eyes, and to his surprise, the apple was getting bigger! An- And, WAIT! Did he shoot a spell at the snoggerworm!? For an apple?! Parcel looked around himself. Wait! Was everything getting bigger? The forest was growing too! And! And Parcels gaze finally caught eye of his companion for the maze! And she was growing bigger too! He was about to shout out to her, say he was sorry, he didn’t know what he was doing, it was the stupid apples fault! But as he opened his mouth it was filled by clothes. In fact, his whole vision was covered by black soft cotton.
Gosh darn it! Why is this in the way!? Parcel was trying to move the fabric away, the apple already dropped and forgotten. He was tugging at the fabric, pulling it away, but it was all so hard, so heavy. Finally, after tugging for ages he managed to get his head out… out of the arm of his robe…
“BY MERLINS BEARD! WHAT HAVE HAPPEND!?” Parcel shouted. But words did not form as he thought they would, and the only noise that was made was the babbling of a baby. “Ba da dadu da ba!” Was what others would hear.
Parcel pulled his arm out from the robe, his very small, very baby looking arm. He looked at it. And in the loudest baby voice he could manage tried to talk again. “Aba dadu da a!” Again, words did not form as he wanted.
He clumsily tried to pull himself out of the robe, resulting in a butt naked baby Parcel tumbling out in front of his maze-companion.

Horrified was perhaps the best word to describe Serena's feelings at this moment in time. She watched the Gryffindor shrink into a little baby, her mouth open and her eyes widened. "What the..." She mumbled out in shock as she watched him. "No no no, sh-" She cursed as she looked terrified at the whole thing in front of her. The baby said 'ba da dadu da ba!' causing Serena to blink at him. He could not even talk to her. He was... literally a baby.
"WHAT? I TOLD YOU NOT TO EAT THE BLOODY A- ARGH!!" She screamed out aloud, getting more annoyed at herself as she stared at the baby before pacing up and down, "Argh, this is my fault... I should have stopped you... What the hell do I do?" She muttered to herself, pacing up and down in anger before stopping and turning to Paracelsus, who was babbling something. She pulled out a wand, "Come on... I can reverse this..." She continued, "ARGHH I DON'T KNOW HOW TO REVERSE THIS!" She screamed at him, the desperation clearly on her face as she fell onto her knees, dropping her wand to the side of her.
Tears watered her eyes, "What the hell..." She mumbled, still annoyed, "We need to get out of here. I need to get you to a professor. I can't fix th-" Serena stopped as she looked at him. This was still Paracelsus right? The same boy who had just tried to attack her. He did this to himself, whilst trying to attack her. "Why the fuck should I help you?" She asked suddenly, as though realising what he had done, "Why do I need to help a horrible person like you? I'm not Head Girl anymore, I don't need to try and do what's good for everyone else. That's right... I'm not Head Girl... And you know why? BECAUSE OF YOU. You're the idiot who bullied me out of it. Everyone, EVERYONE thinks I'm this... I don't know kissing monster or some shit, because of YOU! I didn't do anything. I didn't ASK to be kissed. I DIDN'T WANT TO BE. WHY DO I HAVE TO SUFFER FOR WHAT SOME OTHER STUPID GUY DID? WHY?" She screamed at him, tears streaming down her face, "And after all of this, ALL OF THIS, I have to now help the stupid face that did this? The one who LITERALLY JUST ATTACKED me for an apple!" Serena buried her head into her palms as she sobbed. She did not understand how this was fair. "Gryffindors are the worst... You all do whatever the hell you want. You go around kissing people whenever you want and attacking them for apples and just being MEAN."
Serena Towers was done. After a whole year of silently crying, she had snapped. She was done with this stupid boy - all stupid boys, in fact. They were all awful. Every single one of them. The Hufflepuff cried into her palms, furious and upset by the whole situation. She did not know how long she sobbed for. Her throat hurt a little from the screaming. Before she looked up and saw the baby had crawled out of his robe. Instantly she fell back, "AHHH PUT CLOTHES ON!" She screamed at him, covering her eyes. "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? AHHH YOU'RE A BABY! Wai- Shit, can you even understand me?" Realisation dawned on her that her companion might not actually be able to understand her. He did not seem capable of talking... Perhaps he could not understand her either. "Oh god... I'm going to have to help you..."
Her voice was clearly full of regret and disappointed. She really did not want to help him but... she had no choice, did she? "Ugh. I hate you... I hate myself... I wish I could just leave you here..." Serena spoke more to herself than to the kid, she was disappointed in herself for actually feeling anything but hatred for him. A part of her knew she had to help him but she really wished she could just muster up the strength to leave him to fend for himself like he had made her do. She had fended for herself for the past year, because of him and now she had to help him? This whole thing seemed awfully unfair to her.
Serena sniffed loudly, wiping her face on her long sleeves harshly. She pulled a face as she carefully pinched his robes and then chucked it over him. Her face clearly said she did not want to do this, "Can you understand me? Can you walk? Ugh, who am I kidding... Fine. I- I'm just going to... pick you up... No. I'll just levitate you, then I don't have to touch you and you can't say I'm trying to touch you, which we both know you'll say if you find out... But ahh what if I drop you? You're so small... You'd die... I... GAH!" Serena sighed, a sad expression falling onto her face, "Who am I kidding? We both know you're going to spread more rumours about me even though I'm just trying to help you. Tomorrow, the whole bloody school will think I forced you to become a baby and then purposefully dropped you to hurt you or some stupid thing..." Serena rubbed her face with her sleeves some more, still confused, "I'm just going to pick you up... You can hate me tomorrow..." She replied as she slowly reached out to try and pick up the baby, whilst scrunching up his many layers of clothing around him.
Her face was pulled into one of disgust and she held him with straight arms, as though he were a bomb that was going to explode. Serena grabbed whatever belongings of his she could, trying to hold him in the layers of clothing. "Please don't break, don't break, don't break" She mumbled to herself as she quickly tried to make her way to the exit, not sure what else she can do anymore. The quicker she left the maze, the quicker she could get him to a professor to fix this. She sniffed, her eyes slightly red from all of the crying.

Naked baby Paracelsus was bundled up by Serena, held out at arms reach and the two teens...teen and a quarter...would walk through the gate, away from the dreaded apple tree. How Serena managed to resist falling under the same spell would amaze even the highest of beings, but resist she did. Now, however, she was being punished in another way.
Having to care for one of the people she hated the most.
Through the gates the two teens walked, one being held at arm's length while the other continued to sob and cry her way down the long path and out into an open field. The door behind them would disappear suddenly, leaving the two out in the open. On the other end of the long field, if Serena were to squint, she would see the final door of the maze, standing alone with no walls connecting it to anything. But it was a door she would be sure they would have to walk through.
And as the two teens walked through the field, the sky would darken and become ominous. Dark clouds would form and thunder would sound. Lightning would strike at random intervals, causing the teens to react accordingly as one of the bolts of energy would strike close to their persons. They were like a walking metal beacon, calling the lightning onto them and they would have to chance running through the field as there was no turning back. It was madness.
But what choice did they ultimately have?

Parcel was tumbling out of his robe. Well, out of all his clothes really, nothing fit him… he was literally a baby. He was crawling towards Serena. The crying, sobbing girl. The girl he had made cry… Parcel could feel his mothers eyes on the back of his neck… He could never tell her this, he would be murdered. Making a girl cry was the greatest of taboos.
As Parcel finally got out of the last piece of too big clothing that was pulling him down, a sock it looked like, Serena had also finished crying. What followed was a great big scream as she saw the naked baby tumbling on the ground in front of her. Parcels eyes shot up as the girl shouted. His big round baby eyes blinked once… then twice… WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Big round tears fell from his eyes, soaking his chubby baby cheeks. He took his hands that he had crawled in the grass and mud with and tried to dry his tears away, but all he did was smear the mud with the tears. He was a teary muddy baby. Parcel cried some more.
He kept crying as the girl tossed his robe over him. Parcel hiccuped… it got dark.
He soon felt her hands press around him and weeeeeeee, he got lifted up. He chuckled as hi squirmed his head out of his robe, His big round baby eyes looking at Serena… He hiccuped again.
Parcel looked around himself as they entered this new space. The sky got darker, and darker. A lightning-bolt hit the ground not far from them, scorching the ground black where it had hit. Parcel hiccuped again. He scratched the scar on his chin as if in thought. Looked around some more, his big baby eyes scanning the area. He turned his head back at Serena. His mouth opened and closed a few times, but no sound. His expression was one of deep serenity. He looked back to the field, then scratched his scar again… then turned his head to Serena… AHCHOO! Snot and saliva flew from Parcels nose and mouth as he sneezed, straight at Serena that was holding him at arms length. If it hit her sweater or face Parcel did not see as his big round eyes filled up with tears after seemingly startling himself by sneezing. Parcel cried loudly as he was banging his little baby fists on Serenas hand.

Serena gasped as the door behind her disappeared. Through her sniffles, her eyes looked at the field ahead. Narrowing her eyes, she could make out something that looked like it was probably a door. It seemed to standalone, held by nothing but it was a door nonetheless. As they walked through the otherwise empty field, the sky got darker and more worrying.
Her face gave away her deepest fears as she looked around with widened eyes, her breathe slightly shaky. Her hands shook a little as she held onto the little Gryffindor boy that she was now having to mother. The sky was getting darker. She hated the dark. Ever since first year, the dark was something she had learned to fear. And right now, she was afraid. She was entirely alone - well, emotionally alone, given that her only company was a pathetic little baby that could not actually do anything but be a burden on her.
The thunder sound above her head. Her eyes widened, her grasp on the baby almost weakening as she witnessed a bolt of lightning. This had to be a joke. Of all things, there was now thunder and lightning in the maze? There was no shelter, nor was there any escape. The door they had come through had gone, and besides it led back into a horrible graveyard. The only way was forward...
Serena jumped a little, hearing the sound of Parcel's sneeze. Her face turned from one of fear to one of disgust as she saw the snot fly onto her cheek. She rubbed her cheek onto her shoulder and frowned at the baby, "Can you stop fuckin' hitting me?" She asked as the baby pound its fists onto her, "Unless you plan on crawling through this field by yourself, I suggest you stop. Because I have no qualms with leaving you to fend for yourself." Serena replied calmly towards Parcel, who was purposefully being a pain in her butt. She sighed as she looked at the sky. There was no way he would get through the field without being hit... He was tiny. It would take him hours to crawl through it. "Argh, I hate you," She grumbled as she held him a little tighter, trying not to drop him and broke into a run.
The Hufflepuff ran as fast as she could towards the door. If nothing else, she was definitely a lot faster than he would be. This was the only way to get them both to the door. She knew no spells to stop lightning or thunder. She just ran. As fast as she could.
Her feet pounded against the ground below. Her heart pounded hard in her chest. Her breathing was audible. A lightning bolt appeared not too far from her, causing her to scream and jump a little. On instinct, she held the baby closer. Serena might have hated him when every single ounce of her being but she could not watch him get hurt because of her. For some reason, whatever it was, she felt the need to protect him - even if it meant she would get hurt as a result. She held the baby close to her and ran as fast as she could towards the door, trying to dodge through the lightning bolts that appeared.
If she made it, she would push open the door and get through it as fast as possible.

Serena's maternal instincts would kick in, even though she disliked the little boy in her arms, and she would carry Paracelus through the field. More like run through the field, actually. Fast as her twelve-year-old feet could carry her, Serena ran through the grass; dodging and side-stepping each lightening strike that would near the pair. The girl would scream, of course, if one happened to get too close to her person, but nothing compared to the irritating scratch marks that Paracelus' tiny nails would leave on her neck every time a flash of light struck close by, creating a loud "BOOM!"
Each lightening strike would cause the infant teen to squeeze his current protector's sensitive skin tighter and tighter as tears streamed out of his eyes. If Paracelus was back in his original teenage size, he most likely would have been as brave as the Sorting Hat had proclaimed and would have dragged his partner through the large field himself. Alas, he was fearful in the weakened and vulnerable state he was currently in. If he were struck by a lightening bolt, would he even survive in his tiny form?
It was a valid question and it was one the two teenagers would soon find the answers to. A bolt of lightening would strike directly in front of Serena, causing her to scream, take a step back, and hold Paracelus closer to her body as he, in turn, clung onto her neck as tight as his baby arms would allow. The step backwards would unfortunately allow another bolt of lightening to strike the pair, eliciting a startled scream from the duo that would rend the empty field. The young Hufflepuff would fall to her knees with her charge still in her arms, both children breathing heavily from the shock of the electricity striking them. Both children were alive, and that was all that mattered.
However, when the pair would look at one another, they would each let out another scream again before proceeding with their run through the field. The taller of the two would scare the smaller one with her face covered in the scales of a crocodile completed with the reptile's tail, while the smallest would scream and let out the foulest of smells one could ever imagine. The tail of a skunk, often times mistaken to be a raccoon or cat across the pond and often times run over by cars, would grace the tail end of the babe in Serena's arms. Unfortunately, her appearance would frighten the boy so badly that he wouldn't be able to control the natural defense mechanism of his new...backside. But even with this minor setback, the two would continue with their journey and finally reach the door on the other side of the field.
What would they see on the other side of the door? Freedom from this hell maze and the first sight of civilization after what felt like eons in this place? Or, would an even more traumatizing situation await the two students?

Serena tried her very best to protect the baby version of her enemy, despite everything. His nails were digging into her neck, which was horribly unpleasant but luckily, he seemed to have lost a lot of his strength in this form. Whilst his nails would leave marks and scratches, at least they did not suffocate her. She tried to focus on running, as fast as she could through the field.
She almost made it. Till a bolt stopped her dead in her tracks. It would hit the ground, right in front of her, causing her to scream and jump back quickly out of a reflex action. She held Parcel close to her. Sadly, it did not help. Another bolt of lightning strunk them as she stepped back. Defeated, she fell onto her knees panting hard. The bolt of lightning seemed to zap a lot of her energy away. Serena gasped for air, shattered from running and getting hit. It did not help that the baby was still grasping at her neck. Her eyes fell onto the baby, hoping he was not hurt from this strike.
A scream escaped her mouth as she saw the baby had grown a long tail. Oh no. Paracelsus was going to kill her if that tail was not removable. But her scream was stopped mid way as the smell hit her, causing her to almost gag. She turned away from the baby, as much as she could and coughed. Loudly. The Hufflepuff must have coughed her lungs out as she gagged for some fresh air. All she could smell was the most disgusting thing ever. Did the young baby just poop or something? It was disgusting. Serena almost choked on the smell.
Wanting to get rid of this situation as quickly as possible, she slowly pushed herself up again. She tried to hold her breathe as she sprinted towards the door. It did not help and she just ended up coughing loudly. But nonetheless, she managed to get to the door and push it open, stepping through as quickly as possible, with the little Gryffindor in her arms. As much as she would love to have left him behind - especially with this horribly new found smell he was carrying - she could not bring herself to do it.
Luckily for Serena, she could not see her own crocodile like features and remained innocent to that, at the very least.
