Biography

Born on 14 April 2013, Julie Cameron's early years were a mix of the magical and the mundane, shaped by her parents: Ylana Cameron (née Otterbridge), a half-blood magizoologist who transitioned to nursery work, and Gilbert Cameron, a muggle-born herbologist. She grew up in an a household that encouraged curiosity, creativity, and outdoor play. Their humble estate is dominated by huge greenhouse, a sanctuary for both magical and ordinary flora and fauna. Her parents both work hand in hand to operate their greenhouse. They shared their botanical bounty with both the wizarding and Muggle communities, selling plants, juices, and vegetables.

Julie knows she's cherished by her parents. They encouraged her to explore her interests but were never too complacent. They both knew the value of discipline so they kept her busy with chores too. Both parents also encouraged Julie to explore Stow Cum Quy and its resident muggles. This isn't just to reinforce Gilbert's heritage, but both her parents also believe that such activities are necessary so Julie wouldn't grow prejudiced ideas about non-wizarding people.

From a young age, Julie and her older sister, Gwen, now a third-year Ravenclaw at Hogwarts, learned basic gardening skills, preparing them to eventually lend a hand in the family business. Julie's toddler years were vibrant with the adventures and imaginative games sparked by Gwen. Whether it was a simple game of backyard football or the meticulous task of uprooting plants, the sisters shared a love for outdoor activities and a mutual aspiration to one day become legendary dragonologists. But as Gwen spent more time on charms and spell books, Julie can't help but feel her older sister becoming less of the energetic, swashbuckling sister she grew up with.
