Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor: Match 7
Ula's spell went wide—disappointingly so. But before she could even scowl, her legs betrayed her as she got hit by a spell herself. A now-familiar hex jolted through her nerves, forcing her into an involuntary jig.
Last match it was ballet. This time? Some kind of twitchy, frantic shuffle.
Same damn spell, different genre. And homicide on her mind all over again.

Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor: Match 7
The oppositions counter attack, or choice in target, was to be expected, clearly intimidated by Ula's grace and divine beauty that similar to their previous opponents of the same house, they would once more target such an innocent soul. Gently scowling as she narrowed her eyes to fixate on her chosen opponent, Meiyu couldn't hide the small smile which quickly followed suit after her successful attack. Beaming with a glint of joy in her eyes as she watched them fall to the ground. One down, for now.
Still, she made haste, readying her wand to resume, focused on getting rid of each person who stood on the other side of the piste.

Afternoon Slot
Well, that was certainly... a round... While Ravenclaw recovered from their rough start, Gryffindor barrelled through like the other team owed them money. Seriously, it was quite terrifying what Alyssea just witnessed. She leaned slightly forward, trying to catch a glimpse of the action and figure out her next piece of commentary.
Just because she expected it to happen didn't mean she wasn't surprised when it still happened. What else were Gryffindor were supposed to do but target an obviously vulnerable opponent? Yougle could be considered one, honestly, but considering they were the youngest player and had been standing motionless for the last two rounds now, there were more pressing matters to attend to, such as two Second-year duellists.
(Alyssea was concerned with Yougle. though. Most people would have recovered by this point. But Ravenclaw was basically fighting two on three. What was going on?)
Once the smoke cleared, Alyssea half-expected a body lying on the ground with her next call being for the staff hanging around to take them to the hospital wing. So, to find all six duellists still standing was definitely an eyebrow-raiser. She hummed. She had to give it to them, though. Maybe the new Second-years had thicker skin than her peers.

Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor: Match 7
Another successful cast only forced Meiyu's small smile to grow a wider, her desire to eradicate their team's opponents grew stronger by the minute as she tightened her grip on her wand. Fixated on her chosen target for this round, who had previously been blindfolded, she noted one young girl who stood stiff on the piste; similar to that Air Nomad from the previous match, who was likely to be a distant cousin given their similar movements.
How odd.

Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor: Match 7
Interacting with @Yougle Crenshaw | @Jessamine Hemlock Date - 04/05/25 WC 146/50 Color Legend - Mylo | Thoughts Not a single spell was aimed towards them, which made getting up from the ground so much easier than he was expecting it to be. Unfortunately this meant that Jessamine had been the soul target of the Gryffindors, and having been blindfolded she didn't have the same luck that Mylo had had.
Although she seemed to be standing Mylo could see that she wasn't doing well, but they were still in the middle of a duel and thus had to focus on their opponents in front of them. It also seemed like their other teammate was still frozen, which really wasn't doing them any favours. But Mylo knew how stressful a duel could be and thus they just hoped that she could snap out of it on time.
Giving his injured teammate a look to check in with her they focussed back on the younger duellists.

Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor: Match 7
The ravenette's dancing curse wore off just in time for her to join in on the execution. It wasn't pretty. The blindfolded Ravenclaw girl didn't stand a chance, really—not with all three hurling spells like they had nothing to lose. Ula's spell hit this time, and with it came a sudden, sharp rush. Not adrenaline. Something darker. Satisfaction.
A wicked little smirk curled on her lips, eyes gleaming as the smoke settled and the girl still somehow stood, barely. Huh. Resilient. But not for long.
She didn't say anything, didn't have to. The look she shot her teammates—sharp, smug, near-feral—said enough.

Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor: Match 7
It was disappointing to see the Ravenclaw girl still standing after their barrage of flipendos, not quite having the devastating affect he had hoped for. However, she had clearly seen better days, and his gaze was briefly drawn to the remaining two Ravenclaws. One of which continuing to be frozen, and the other dragging himself back to his feet.
With a scowl, he turned his wand over in his hand once again, readjusting his grip as he prepared himself once more.
