Finders' Reader's
Simon walked into the library, hoping to find a good book. She was a big reader back home, and volunteered at the library, but the Hogwarts library was huge, and knew she would find what she wanted there. She walked to a shelf, and picked up a book titled The Lost. She read the blurb, and decided it was interesting, so she decided to give it a try.
The book was about a person who was seriously struggling financially, and couldn't deal properly. It was set in a place where people were set into different sections, and he was in the second lowest. He ended up leaving the town, and venturing off. He met another man along the way, and they lived in the woods, creating another unknown grouping. "Lost."
Simon decided to take a break from reading, because she was tired. She put her head down, and tried to nap. However, sleep was not on her side. She couldn't stop thinking about the man's original group, "Helpless" it was a group of people who weren't considered sane, but had barely passed a test everyone took at 18 to determine their group.
Simon felt bad for Helpless. They were just misunderstood. She was mad at the ruler of all of this, the man who kept them this way despite having grown up in the group just above the main characters. That was what Simon didn't like about reading. She entered the story a little too deeply, and ended up basically building relationships and connection with the characters.
Eventually, she did fall asleep. She decided to write down what she was thinking in a story.
Simon woke with a start. The sun was setting already! She checked out her book, and quickly headed to her dorm to continue her nap.

Finders' Reader's
Four days later, Simon had finished her book. It had made her cry so much she had to vent to a friend. The man had died, and his son had to take on his legacy. She returned it, trying not to burst into tears over the man. She went to a table to work on homework, and found a nice spot by a window.
Simon finished her homework about 30 minutes later, and went to look for another book. She found one, and realized it was the book that comes after the one about the man. She didn't wanna go through another emotional roller coaster like the first book, but was really curious as to where it was going to end up. So, she checked it out and headed back to her spot to read it. Her hair got in the way of the pages, so she pulled it back into a ponytail. She got to the 6 chapter out of 23. She closed the book, already overwhelmed over what had happened in the book so far.
As she processed the information, she took out her quill and parchment. She started writing a story of her own, as she usually did when she started a new book. When she finished, she went back to her room, although it was just afternoon, because she may need that friend again.

Simon walked back into the library, convinced the next book, (if there was one) couldn't get any sadder. Simon had needed that friend several times throughout the course of the book. All the good characters had died, aside from the main character. His father was a ghost. Thank goodness it was a two-book series. That was, until Simon went to put it back were it went. There was another book, same author, same series. She almost didn't pull it down. She read the blurb, and it seemed as though it was happy. Finally. I can't take any more sad books. She thought. The book started out with the funeral for the characters that died in the second book.
Simon wasn't surprised, nor was she impressed. She didn't cry, and didn't need a friend to talk too. She closed the book, whispering to herself.
"It'll be happy later. Of course the author started with the funeral."
After a few moments of staring, trying to decide whether or not to keep reading, Simon put the book down. She was tired of the sadness. No way she would keep reading. She got up to put the book away, and didn't pick it up again.
