Dance the Lonely Dance
After breakfast, she ventured up to the fourth floor, taking care to avoid Peeves on the third floor, who was currently jumpscaring anybody who was near or in the empty Charms classroom.
Peeves didn't notice her. Good. Ruby was wearing a beautiful dress that was sleeveless, but beautiful. It was azure with briar vines embroidered all over it. She made it herself rather clumsily. That's why it had a little fringe.
It had a side slit and she was wearing her favorite brown moccasins. She went up to the ballroom and went inside. Ruby was amazed. She had never seen this before.
Ruby decided to make a few of her own dance moves with her favorite songs playing over and over in her head. Particularly Fashion by Britney Manson.
Ruby sat down on the floor and thought about some beats. Duh-re-re-tum-tum-tum... Nope, that was the Wii theme. She didn't want to plagiarize at all.
She sighed. Maybe she can just write here if the library's too full and Jade O'Reilly and Odette Leone or some other Bonelli's Eagle occupant was being a bit too noisy.
Ruby slapped herself in the face, regretting it since now she had a faint red spot on her cheek. Ruby then decided to go back to the common room and get her journal, chronicling all the experiences in Hogwarts.
She then went to Ravenclaw Tower, which took surprisingly fast. Maybe her legs were more skillful than she thought.
The eagle knocker spoke. "What is always in front of you but can’t be seen?" "The future!" Ruby said briskly. She really needed to get into the common room.
Ruby then stormed in, much to some of her fellow Ravenclaws' surprise, since she came in so briskly and noisily. Ruby then went up to the girls' dormitories, and went into Bonelli's Eagle. It was empty. Her dorm-mates must have gone somewhere.
She got her journal, which was lying on her pillow. And Ruby decided to also get her box of bubblegum from her aunt. Ruby did like chewing gum. Ruby quickly got out of the common room and trotted to the ballroom.
Ruby saw in awe all of the decor in the ballroom, and loved seeing the sunlight reflecting on them. She sat crosslegged, and then decided to lie down on the floor and zone out. Yes, that was what she wanted very much.

Dance the Lonely Dance
Luisa poked her head into the ballroom. Gods did this school do dancing lessons, as if her father hadn't made her practice enough before school. She really hoped no one here expected her to know how to dance. Not that she didn't enjoy it, if she had a partner to dance with it certainly could be a lot of fun, even if she didint finding a rhythm by herself was quite enjoyable, she supposed the problem lay more in the expectations of others for her to dance the “right” way.
She sighed, she really oughtnt worry so much about that, she was at school, it would be much easier to doge classes here then it would be with her own family who knew her tricks and lived in a much smaller house, many more places to hide here and the staff didn't know her as well.
Though she had to admit the ballroom was quite nice, her own family didn't have a proper ballroom, just a larger room set aside for parties, where sure, they would dance but a party room was much different then a ballroom. As she moved around the room looking at it, thinking of what kind of mischief could be pulled off here, after all, she imagined it wouldent be the hardest to slip a prank potion into a bowl of punch, or enchant some cupcakes, she managed to trip over another girl who was lying on her back
“Oh my gosh, are you alright?” Luisa fumbled her way off of the other girl, and got herself sitting up again “i didint even see you there, im sorry”

Yolanda wandered into the Ballroom, hoping to find a quiet corner to jam out/ practice some tunes on her acoustic guitar, her case bumping gently against her leg as she headed in. Her sight quickly caught two girls near the center of the massive room. One girl appeared to be lying on the floor, and just as Yolanda was processing this, the other girl, stumbled right over her – looking quite flustered.
“Oh my goodness!” Yolanda ran over, putting her guitar case down. “Are you both okay? That was a swifter descent than a Nimbus 2000 in a dive! Quite the tumble,” Yolanda’s voice was full of concern. Addressing both girls, offering a hand to Luisa first, than Ruby. “Can I help either of you up?”
Yolanda smiled at both of them a bit nervous.
“If you need I can take you to the Hospital Wing… but it probably is fine. I hope I didn’t startle you both – just came to practice somewhere nice,” Yolanda gestured towards her guitar.
Yolanda glanced around the grand ballroom for a moment, its sweet elegance quite impressed her. “This place is pretty awesome, am I right?" She remarked absent-mindedly, trying to make small talk while gauging their reactions. “So, er,” she gazed over towards them, “What were you two up to in here, if you don’t mind sharing?”
Yolanda hoped she was making a good first impression to some other friendly students.
