Closed Interview Assignment

Mikey didn't mind homework. At least he didn't usually mind homework when it could be done in an hour at the end of the day. Todays assignment was different though. He had to do a report on the Gryffindor house by interviewing a classmate who was in Gryffindor. That alone still would not have bothered him. He had a few friends in that house and could just ask a few questions while hanging out. But of course it couldn't be that easy. He had to interview a student that he didn't know for this assignment.

This was the real issue. He guessed that it was the real assignment as well. Trying to get students out of their comfort zone and meet one another. It was most certainly not something he wanted to do and he even considered attempting to not complete the assignment or fake it. But in the end his morals won out and he gave in. So he made his way to the courtyard and started looking around for possible candidates.

The throng of students was less than usual so that helped but he still couldn't get a good view over the taller upperclassmen. He moved to the center of the courtyard and hopped up on one of the stone benches to get a better view and instantly noticed a Gryffindor robe under a head of wild blonde curls. He leapt from the bench and pushed his way past a few students to the spot he had last seen her. Mikey reached out to lightly touch her shoulder and said "Excuse me."
