The backstory:

Clarke was born on May 30, 2013, to Julien and Vivienne Olverin. 4 year old Shawn and 2 year old Reese were very excited to have a little sister. Across Dublin, a family mourned the loss of their newborn child. The Remmingtons had one boy, Tripp. Their little girl had died from unexplainable reasons. Out of grief, Mr. Alistair Remmington contacted a friend of his and planned an unlawful taking of a young child for the Remmingtons to call their own. They choose a newborn from a lesser part of Dublin, just to be sure that the family they kidnapped from, didn’t have enough money to file a lawsuit. Mr. Remmington and his friend had scoured the community for a child. The unfortunate newborn taken and her family were Clarke and the Olverins.

It was a sunny day, the Olverins were enjoying each other's presence in their small and dark living room. Next thing they knew, an unforgivable curse was being thrown at Vivienne Olverin, who held Clarke. Julien Olverin rushed to the next room, ushering his older two children with him. He tried to grab his wand, but before he could, he was knocked over by a curse thrown by Mr. Remmington. In a flurry of black cloaks, the other man scooped up Clarke and they left without saying anything.

Clarke grew up in a medium sized house where she was quite comfortable. She had everything she could ever want. A brother who always played with her, a mother who gave her all she needed. She had friends as well; Oriole and Aven. Yet, Mr. Remmingtom was always quite distant with her. Maybe it was the guilt that he could never look at her properly or enjoy life the way he had before. Thinking it was just because Clarke wasn't a child they had given birth to, Mrs. Remminton always encouraged them to become closer, but it never happened. Mr. Remmington had never told her or Tripp how they had gotten Clarke-he said it was a surprise that he was adopting her for them.

Then, Clarke started her first year at Hogwarts. Tripp had already graduated and settled a job at the Ministry. He had bought his own house, so every break Clarke got, she looked forward to spending time there.

The incident:

A broken-hearted family mourned the miscarriage of their unborn daughter. Mr. Remmington was angry beyond anything he had ever been. His anger got in the way of thinking properly. He decided to go to a friend of his and ask him to do something for Mr. Remmington.

This friend agreed to help Mr. Remmington find a child to replace his lost one. They meticulously planned out how they were going to go to a poor part of Dublin and steal a child for Mrs. Remmington. They snuck around the neighbourhood searching for a baby in one of the houses. This is when they found Clarke Olverin. She had been born a few days earlier and the family was very happy. Little did they know that soon they would feel a lot of pain. Mr. Remmington cursed Vivienne Olverin and took her child. None of the Olverins had their wands in the room and they weren’t fast enough to get them. The two men left as quickly as they had come, taking Clarke with them.

Mrs. Remmington and her son, Tripp, were very excited when Mr. Remmington brought Clarke home. Finally, they had a child. They didn’t care how she came to be in their possession, they knew that they would never give her up. Years went by and Mr. Olverin and his children tried to reconcile with the fact that two of their members were gone. It was hard, but they became happy with what they did have: each other.With the help of the Ministry, Mr. Olverin found Clarke 11 years later. One of the staff, from a school Clarke used to go to, came to the Ministry with information that Clarke’s forms were wrong. She admitted to knowing the year before but didn’t know what she should do, but finally someone told her to go to the Ministry. The Ministry told him about this information and where Clarke lived, but told him to wait and not go trying to take his child back. He did not listen. On Easter break, Mr. Olverin came to the Remmington’s estate and demanded his child back. The Remmingtons feigned innocence, saying that Clarke was their child.

The Ministry got wind of what Mr. Olverin had done and decided to act fast before the Remmington's made their next move. They filed a lawsuit against the Remmington's. Clarke didn’t go back to Hogwarts right away. The Ministry had to identify Clarke and figure out whose child she actually was. Then she had to be re-introduced to her family and get a few health tests done at the hospital. Clarke also had to write a statement for the Ministry in the case of her parents.

The Remmington parents were sent to prison after the trial but their 18 year old son, Tripp, was let off as they believed he was acting under his parents' authority.

Qualities: ───────────── Reserved: She takes her time to make friends and when she does, they are deep relationships. She says what she needs to but nothing that could hurt another person. Observant: She takes notice of her surroundings to analyze each situation and know how to represent herself. Clever: She knows how to fix problems by trying new things. Empathetic: She is a very emotional person who, when others are upset, will be upset for them as well. She cares for everyone and wants the best for them. Clarke is a fun person to be around once you get to know her and she enjoys your company too.

Quirks: ───────────── Anxious: When she is anxious, she shuts herself from the people around her because she doesn't want other people to know or worry about her anxiety. Sometimes she can't function because of it and eventually she gets help. Withdrawn: She likes to watch from a distance and not right there with the crowd. Not necessarily a bad thing. She doesn't talk about her feelings much which could get her in trouble. Hobbies: ───────────── Writing: She loves to write and hopes one day to write about mystery and adventure. She has told no one about it yet, not even Tripp, her brother. Art: She is a good artist who will use any material and make it into something beautiful, whether it is a painting or a sculpture.
