Jason felt the train take off, his body gave a slight jerk in his seat as he was sitting in one of the train compartments. Parents waved, blowing sweet kisses to their children. Jason felt the atmosphere change a bit as all the parents became blurs, he can tell the train was now getting a bit rowdy for his taste. Lucky enough for him he could usually ignore all the noise, since he tended to think to himself to much. His brick red hair dancing with the wind as the train soared through the fields of England, his emerald eyes gazing at the scenery. [Is this really what I needed? Mother, would you have been proud of me.] Jason thought to himself as he took his left hand and moved his hair from his face. The students could be seen running up and down the train, Jason couldn't tell if they were just horsing around or just as excited and nervous as he was. All he knew was that for him making new friends would be a challenge because of his quiet personality and his honesty. Jason was more afraid of making someone hate him, for him speaking the truth on a matter. To Jason this was something of a new journey just for him. Who knows what might unfold for him in the future.

Train Ride To A New Home
Marjorie Skelton arrived in her mother's red Odyssey, something that she used to in order to blend in with the muggles, like when she went to private school. It made her nostalgic, especially with the stack of suitcases in the trunk, but she kept sipping her orange juice, trying to drown out the memories.
The only person who was talking was her father, who was on half-reading and half-ranting about an intern who was 'utterly useless' and 'dumber than a doorknob'. It made Marjorie snort but she quieted after a look from her mother. They were giving each the silent treatment over an argument back home because of her choice of clothing. Honestly she couldn't understand what was the big deal of clothing, they were just for protecting the body. Her mother never liked her style, calling it 'grungey' and 'dark', something that didn't represent the Skeltons.
It very much does though, she thought, considering her outfit. She wore a black and white turtleneck, straight for black jeans with bottoms cuffed, a black jacket with a white hood, and long socks inside a pair of white checkered sneakers. She would put on her black robe eventually but she didn't feel like it now, not at all.
“Greetje...” Marjorie pursed her lips and looked up slowly, but then her eyes darted to the view before her: the train station.
Minutes later, after parking, grabbing luggage, and making their way to the barrier, Marjorie was rushing through the wall, suddenly standing in Platform 9¾. She grinned, spinning around slowly. She had never before, not even for the practice, like her mother had advised. Although she had worried about bashing her face in while running through, she had been looking forward to the experience, something she'd never go through ever again: her first day of magic school.
She pushed her cart to the side, noticing painfully how empty it was of pets compared to a lot of the other students. She wished that she could've brought her gerbils but she couldn't, she had to wait to purchase an owl, cat, or road after at least her first semester of school.
Marjorie turned to her parents, chuckling as her mother tried to shush her father, who was still ranting. They tried to say some sad things concerning goodbyes but she just rushed over and hugged them, hard as she could. She felt her mother shake a little, which made her look up in alarm, but her mother had already gathered composure.
“We love you dearly,” murmured her father. “Get all O's and the House Goblets.”
“It's House Cups—honestly, and I haven't been to the school yet—”
Marjorie laughed and talked with them for a bit before they said their goodbyes again. She grabbed her things and headed over to the bright red Express. From afar it looked like seeing from a screen but the smells and being in the steam felt so real, it just made her smile.
She hopped onto the train, pulling on her robe at the same time. Her jacket made it buldge but she decided that it was a good thing, since she was so small and boney.
She was so intent on seeing the students hat she didn't notice the one right in front of her. She bumped into him and gasped, saying, “Oh—sorry! I should've been looking...” Her cheeks turned pink.
Marjorie winced; she didn't want to start of school making a buffoon of herself. She swallowed, hopefully not loudly, and straightened her posture. “I'm Marjorie. I'm starting my first year—what about you?”

Train Ride To A New Home
The train lurching beneath his feet would almost immediately seat the lithe frame of Aeyrun Whitehall down onto one the well worn, yet comfortable seats that the Hogwarts Express held.
He did not bother to look for his mother out of the window, knowing that she left, disapparated the moment that she knew he was safely inside-- goodbyes were never her strongest attribute. Instead he occupied his vision with the rapidly changing scenery that sped past his compartment window.
After a few moments of this, the boy would lean his head back into the seat, a small yawn escaping past his lips that he did not bother to hold back. Truth be told, he was tired, having not slept much the night before, a bundle of nervous energy keeping him awake all through the night.
Thinking back to this morning, Aeyrun was uncharacteristically jittery-- something that his entire family found a tad annoying, his mother more so than most, almost immediately putting and end to this with no more than her patented glare. They're were going into the muggle world after all, and emotions should be kept in check lest a lapse in concentration lead to an incident before he was even sorted.
His path to King's Cross was, thankfully without incident, with Claudia keeping a firm hand on his shoulder the entire time. A sign that she was nervous, a tell that he learnt quite some time ago--not that he would dare to ask her about it. The pair talked about trivial topics as they walked, well, Claudia walked and he pushed his trunk along.
Back on the train, Aeyrun took a quick glance around the relatively empty compartment. Silently thanking his mother's wisdom in arriving early, Whitehall stood up to pry the black hoodie he wore off his frame to stuff it rather messily into the overhead compartment atop his trunk.

Train Ride To A New Home
Brielle stood calmly and contently at the train, her hair being blown into her face by the force of the others passing by. Brielle was never one to lovingly affectionate and hug her parents. No, she simply told them she loved them and that was that. It wasn't that she was ungrateful, she just had a thing about showing vulnerability.
"Take care, dear! Me and your father wish the best!" And with that, Brielle couldn't help but smile. Her parents did love her, they really did, and she appreciated that. Brielle then trotted up the steps of the train, waving once more to her family before she turned her back.
She hadn't a clue what to expect when boarding the train. She hadn't even had an idea as to where to sit. Slowly, she pushed open the door of a compartment, hoping there weren't many people sitting there already. Though, to her surprise, there had only been one student, their dark black hair passing off the illusion of a violet tint. Their eyes we're startling too, each a different shade of color, yet both had been glowering up at her. Brielle then silently placed her trunk in the overhead compartment above her and took a seat across from the fellow first year.
After severeal moments of silence, Brielle snuck a glance of the boy again, his head still lowered. Annoyed, she crossed her arms and raised one perfect eyebrow up at him."Well do you talk?" She asked harsher than intended. Though, not paying any mind to it, she adjusted the collar of her turtleneck and awaited a response.

Train Ride To A New Home
Scene: Several moments before Jason sat in his own compartment.
As Jason was looking for an empty compartment to sit in, he felt a bit of nudge from something behind him. [What was that?] Jason thought to himself, as he shifted his body towards the left to look over his shoulder to see a frail girl. Jason's nerves began to rise as his face began to turn a bloodshot red almost blending in with his hair. He heard her speak and he hesitated a bit, his eyes staring into hers for a second and then drifting away as if avoiding the fact they were there. “Jason.....Snider” He said with a faint voice as he began to shift his body back into place. Jason started to briskly walk from this girl his nerves on high and before he knew it he was into an empty compartment.
Scene: Present
Jason seemed to have been thinking of the action he just did a moment ago, it was quite cruel of him to do. [The first person you meet and you walk away after saying your name. Good work.] Jason thought as he felt now annoyed with himself for acting that way. He stood up stretching a bit, his hair starting to frustrate him a bit. Making a slight jerk of his head his hair seemed to set back into place with itself. “Let's go then.” Jason said to himself as he fixed his black shirt. Jason rose his left hand and turned it slightly facing his wrist to face. Jason gazed at his watching, taking in the time the train left till now would probably help him figure out if the girl he bumped into was in area. Maybe he could apologize for what he did and be honest about it. Maybe she would forgive him. Jason's emotions began to escalate again but, remembering his Uncle made him straighten up a bit. Jason decided to leave his compartment and proceed towards the train hallway, he turned left and began to walk. Before he could reach the second compartment from his he heard a girl's voice, his eyes glanced inside to see two people his age. Jason knocked softly on the door and opened it slightly as he heard the girl speak “Well do you talk?” Jason stopped midway before entering hoping he didn't step into a weird situation.

Train Ride To A New Home
His left eyebrow rose as the girl talked him, while he did not pay much mind to her tone of voice, it did register. While it was true that he had been silent so far, that was no reason to speak to him like that.
It would be about this time that the compartment door slid open, giving pause to Aeyrun's response as he turned his head to view the newcomers. From his current position he could see the red haired boy standing in the doorway, and from what Aeyrun could read of his features, he was a tad curious about the situation at hand.
No doubt he heard what she said. Aeyrun thought to himself as he sat back down to offer a small, somewhat smug smile to the girl. While he did not appreciate being spoken to like that, he did like her direct approach to things.
"You might want to come in and sit down." he'd say with turning his head to look at the red haired boy while arms folded over his black v-neck t-shirt, the smile still playing across his features. "Or this one might snap at you too." he'd finish off, inclining his head towards the girl that sat across him. Aeyrun's voice was a bit coarse despite his young age, something which he sometimes used to his advantage, especially when he felt the need to intimidate those his age or younger than him.
His head would turn back to face the girl in a few moments of silence making sure to look her in the eyes before offering her a small wink of his right eye along with a slight chuckle, as he settled back into his seat.
