He's generally soft-spoken, unless you get to know him and then he doesn't stop talking. He can be a bit weird if he's comfortable enough with you though. Be prepared to have to deal with a Hikari who's always getting distracted and ends up having no clue what you've been saying for the last thirty minutes. He's protective over his friends. History: Hikari was born and brought up in Osaka, Japan. Her mother is Ayame Fujimoto and his father is Takeshi Fujimoto.
The Fujimoto family runs a network of six auction houses. It wasnโt something spoken of often, especially at home, but it shaped much of what was expected of himโprecision, discretion, and an understanding of value that went beyond the obvious.
He has three younger siblings. A boy named Hayato Fujimoto, (currently 9 years old) and, twins, named Takeo and Tomoe Fujimoto, who are three years younger than him (currently 6 years old).
Being the eldest son of the Fujimoto family, Hikari has been raised to be perfect, flawless manners, etiquette and to generally be the perfect child, which had also not given him the happy childhood a child would deserve. That is probably the reason he is as he is, reserved and quiet, having not had a lot of friends prior to coming to Mahautokoro.
Hikari loves the rain. He could watch it rain for hours and loves the smells and sights which also accompanies it. This also gave rise to his love for painting, for, since he was young, under his mother's guidance, he had taken to recording everything he saw during the showers on paper.
Hikari's mother is a gentle soul, with a lot of love for her children. Hikari shares a close relationship with his mother, as compared to the relationship he shares with his father. His father is a hard working, rather closed-off man. He only wishes the best for his children, although that may come out as pushing his children way too hard. Hikari loves his younger siblings, specially his little sister, whom he adores to bits.

Hikari's first instance of magic was when he was about five years old, sitting on his bed, watching the rain pour in steady streams, beating against the glass. A brown notebook lay discarded in front of him, the smallest of pencils in his hand. When his mother had presented him with it, he had loved the idea of drawing onto the white sheets. But, as he soon would realise, the ability to capture the falling droplets, the freshness, was harder than he had expected it to be.
Picking up the notebook, he stared into it, at the drawing he had been trying to perfect for the last thirty minutes, and Hikari felt seconds away from tearing up. It did not remotely look like the rain he had seen in paintings and pictures. Or even close, really.
The universe must have heard his unsaid plea, because the notebook suddenly seemed to vibrate in his arms, and as he watched, the drawing changed. The lines shifted, deepening, darkening, and as Hikari held up the book to the window before him, a gentle hand landed on his head, startling him. His mother was smiling down at him, Hikari hadn't even heard her come in; "Magic." she told him softly, "Good job." And at that moment, Hikari felt that perhaps, perhaps someone was listening to him after all.
