𝐵𝑎𝑐𝑘𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦 Reducio Amaryllis grew up in a small wizarding town in Galway, Ireland. She lived a good, peaceful life with her half-blood father Aster Thornwood who was a Hufflepuff and her pureblood mother Lacerta Thornwood who was a ravenclaw. She has a little sister named Azalea who is two years younger than her. She was homeschooled by her father before attending Hogwarts and learned a lot about herbology and a little bit of flying as her father was a chaser when he attended Hogwarts. Her mother works as an auror and has always had a sort of calm, calculating personality. She is incredibly wise and clever but isn't as warm and affectionate as her father, who works in a magical greenhouse, selling plants that can be used for potions and healing. Her mother is half Romanian half Irish. Her father is full Irish. Her and her sister have a good relationship but their personalities differ slightly. While they both have very similar traits certain ones are more prominent with Azalea than they are with Lis. Azalea has more of their mother's cunning and wisdom and enjoys brain teasers and challenges while Lis takes after their father more, with her love for plants and warm, welcoming personality. Growing up Lis was never all that close with her mom. She was busy being a well-known and successful auror and didn't have as much time as their father to stay at home with them. She wasn't an absent mother by any means and Lis still gets along great with her, but still she is much closer with her dad.

𝐹𝑖𝑟𝑠𝑡 𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑚𝑎𝑔𝑖𝑐 Reducio Amaryllis first use of magic occurred when she was around 7 or 8. She was outside with her father and little sister, running around and playing when she walked over to the amaryllis flowers planted in the garden. She noticed how they hadn't quite bloomed yet, some of them starting to but most still inside their pods. She gently cupped one of them in her hands, studying the bud when suddenly, the amaryllis flowers bloomed at once.She was ecstatic, running inside to tell her mother she finally used magic.

She has dark, Auburn-brown hair that looks like fire in the sunlight. She has deep blue eyes framed with fluffy, slightly curled lashes. She is slightly taller than average for girls her age.

Amaryllis is a kind yet fierce soul. She loves plants and animals and could spend all day playing with kneazles or tending to her flowers at home. She is kind to everyone as long as they are kind to her and few things can make her really angry. She loves quidditch, her favorite team being the holyhead harpies. She can't stand people hurting animals or children and will always defend someone being bullied. She is not very extroverted yet not an introvert either. She gets along with pretty much everyone and can easily float into almost any social group.
