Closed Easter (Open)

Hummed quietly in thought "Must be the way they communicate, no other way to control snakes unless by communicating in some way. That's my idea anyways. I'll definitely find a professor and ask or risk going around asking everyone 'hey are you a parselmouth?'" He'd laugh at the idea and shook his head, he definitely wasn't going to make any friends like that let alone get a straight answer. He'd frown when she mentioned they couldn't go together "Aww that's a shame, doubt they'd let me into their stands if I tried." He'd soon smile as she was down for a duel, it was exciting to try dueling. They just needed to find a good place for it. "Yeah! let's do that, I'd like to test whatever spells they start teaching." He'd chuckle and relax in his spot, she explained what a cursebreaker was and Adam only had more questions. "So they aren't breaking curses or was that implied?" He'd ask curiously. "And who's this Alfric you mentioned?" He'd also ask with a grin as he didn't know a thing about the wizarding world aside from some more common knowledge. He knew elves were servants and people cared about one's bloodline.

Luisa shrugs “yeah just straight up asking if someone is a parselmouth is not a good idea and would not go down well with very many people. I mean you could try going into other parts of the stands, honestly as long as you don't get caught it should not exactly be a problem. Besides theres a pretty good chance that you might be allowed.” she thought for a moment “the school has a dueling room, i visited earlier, we can go down there at some point if you like. It would be so much fun. We might want to double check if its open to first years for dueling, not that i mind breaking in there and dueling if it isn't, just that i'd rather do it when its open if we can.”
she listened to his questions about curse breaking “I mean you do break curses, a lot of treasure is guarded by curses, but the goal is the treasure. Alfric isn't anyone, i don't think. Just a name i made up. Might be someone though, i dunno.” she pulls out her class schedule “hey what classes do you have? Id like to sit together some, i don't know many people around here yet.”

Adam laughed and agreed with Luisa. "That's just asking for trouble if you ask me, I mean it's not like someone would just open up to a complete stranger!" he'd continue his laughter and settled down shortly after. "I'll definitely try sneaking into the other stands, maybe learn a charm to change my house colors.. Or maybe not wear any colors at all." He'd pose the idea with a raised brow, motioning to himself as if asking her to bask in his great idea. He was of course joking with this mannerism. Not like he expected her to do anything. "We'll visit together sometime soon, I'd like that. Either we break in or they let us in." he kept his voice low so another wouldn't hear them speaking so easily. She explained curse breaking and that Alfric wasn't a real person, wonder where she got the name from then. "I think I have defense against the dark arts next and then charms class. Which do you have next?" he'd ask as he too pulled out his school schedule and double checked. He was correct in guessing his classes. "I'm sure you'll get to know everyone if you open up to them, beats sneaking around the bush of doing so. Just walk up, say hi and introduce yourself. That easy, of course if they're reluctant to get to know you, they're probably not interested and hardly working hard towards getting to know." He'd laugh at the mention and then think a little more about what he said. "Well if they're shy, then it's probably best to be gentle on the approach. Yup yup! Tips from Adam on getting to know people 101. Heh." He'd rest his chin on his knuckle. "Say, what kind of wand do you have? Mine's Cherry wood with a horned serpent horn as the core."

As Adam talked about swapping the colors of his robes, Luisa had an idea “hey hey, that's a good idea. I don't know if you can charm your robes into showing a different crest, they do magically shift when you are sorted, but my robes have a different crest on them then yours. One of us could wear the other’s robes, we all had to bring three in, so we both have spares. Only thing that could get in the way is if attendance is marked. We’ll find out, I suppose at the next match.” she was excited, this plan would… probably work, if it didn't, she could probably just point out to a professor that no one told them they couldn't lend out robes, and no one had.
“As for what I have next… transfiguration and then, oh charms class, nice! Looks like we have charms together, sweet! Let's see if we can find somewhere in the back of the class to hide out and make more plans together.” the excitement in her eyes grew “You're certainly willing to have a lot of fun, though i suppose the general disposition of a slytherin makes that more likely anyway. Meh. Either way, I certainly think we are going to have a lot of fun at hogwarts.” she’d been worried, Kranks had said that proper students were more likely to follow rules and such.
“Oh I wish getting to know people was that easy. I mean it was easy with you I suppose. I guess it's just different here, my family had a tight knit community, there wasn't much in the way of introductions and such, we all knew each other sense we were in diapers. It's different here, I have to make introductions, i know my dad taught us how, but it never seemed relevant until now”
“Cherry! And Serpent horn? Oh wow. That's a pretty interesting combo.” Luisa thought for a moment “you might want to talk to a wand lore specialist about that. I don't know much about wand lore myself though, something about those two being powerful and something about snakes. Uhm as for mine, Mayhaw Wood, Jackalope Antler, not as flashy as i would have liked, but it casts pretty quickly, and is a bit stubborn i suppose.”

Adam smiled as she agreed with his idea. "Well, I don't know either charm so the likelihood of this working is very slim. But I like your idea better, I'll wear your colors and blend in just fine. Just so long as none of Gryffindor recognizes me it'll be just fine. I doubt they mark attendance, there has to be students who just don't want to go to a quidditch match. The next match will be a blast! I just hope one of our houses is playing, or both against each other. This will be fun." He'd laugh and rub his hands together excitedly. He could just say that nobody told him that we couldn't be in a mixed stand and that wearing another person's robes to fit in wasn't allowed. It was the perfect plan, so diabolical it might just work. Suddenly she found out they had charms together. Perfect, he was definitely going to sit in the back with her. "Sounds good, what other kinds of plans did you have in mind?" he'd ask her curiously unsure of what other trouble they could get themselves into. He'd laugh when she mentioned his Slytheric affliction. "Yeah maybe, or I just like to have fun. I don't want my years here at Hogwarts to be boring, I want to do things. Do the unthinkable, maybe stand out among my peers for something. I hope you do too, for whatever reason you can think of. We'll do great things as a team, I'm sure sure of it." he'd reach out to shake her hand as if making a deal on this, a promise even. She talked about her family and that they had a tight knit group of people, knowing each other since they were little. He sighed wistfully, wishing he had a life like that. "Me I never knew many people who weren't total jerks, wish I never knew them. Well that and I constantly moved around so it made it hard to get to know people. I moved from Canada to England because my dad had work there. My mom worked overseas for awhile but then she finally moved in with us since there was more work for her there and family was closer too. It wasn't long until I got my letter from Hogwarts." he explained casually while reaching for another apple and taking a bite out of it. Now they were talking about wands and that really got him interested. "Thanks! The wand chose me according to the man working in Ollivander's. The other wands I had in mind had interesting cores, like Veela hair or Dragon Heartstring." He'd swallowed his bite and thought about her words for a moment. "Snakes? Interesting, I'll definitely try talking to a specialist when I meet one. I don't know the first thing about wands, but Jackalope Antler? Cool. If it casts quickly I better watch out for you in a duel. I gotta act faster than my wand." he'd laugh full heartedly. "I'm glad my wand is known for something, I didn't know it was powerful."

“I think all the houses will be playing against each other at some point this year, theres probably a board somewhere saying which match is next though.we can check that later.” this was going well Adam seemed up to having fun “well i don't know, climbing up to the enchanted roof to see how tall it actually is, see if we can snag some of the rarer ingredients from the potions room, i've always wanted to know what some of those things look like in person. Mind you if theres a way to have some fun without breaking rules we should do it that way, but i feel like the rules may be too strict to do that very often.” her brother had warned her that the school had a bunch of rules. She gave a chuckle when Adam mentioned standing out “Well sure we’ll stand out but thats hardly the point, the point is to go and have as much fun as we can have, regardless of the rules! Standing out will obviously be an extra bonus obviously.”
She listened for a bit about the jerks he knew back home and how he had moved around a bunch “hey where in england are you from? If you want to spend more time with non jerk people and you're close enough you can probably come over for the holidays, get away from it all? I have a big family not to mention the other family’s kids who come over.”
“Im not positive if its powerful, im probobly misremembering what my father said in class but i think he did say something about those bits packing a punch.”

"Oh most definitely, just need to find the board and find out which game will be played next then we can put our plan into action. This will be fun." he'd smile as she did seem to be up for having fun too, this he liked. He didn't want anything boring to happen throughout his years. A little bit of trouble never hurt anybody. She started talking about more plans for trouble and Adam was up for it. "Sounds dangerous, we should bring a broom to fly up instead. A little safety with trouble never hurt." he'd laugh as he'd nod soon after "What kinds of potions would we make with these ingredients? Just looking at them doesn't sound all too fun, making a potion and testing them on a rat sounds much better. And no we're not making poison, that'd be terrible for the rat. Maybe a transforming potion of some kind? We need to take potions class to learn a few recipes... Oh and we can definitely see the ingredients in person in that class. Do you have any potions classes coming up? Would like to see if we're in the same class for that." He'd ask while showing her his schedule, potions right after charms. "Oh no standing out is hardly the point, I agree but it would be nice to leave behind a story for students to tell. Did you hear? These two brave and troublemaking students did this! Oh we should be like them and do something just as bad and fun!" He'd use an example which didn't have much of a story to tell but hopefully he got his point across. She asked where in england he lived and Adam answered truthfully. "I'm from Ilkeston, a nice little place. I'll for sure visit you on the holidays, you can show me all kinds of magical things with your family, you wouldn't want to see a muggle home, it's boring. Aside from the computer, there's a whole new world in there that only fabricates magic." he'd smile at the mention and shook his head. "Well it doesn't matter, it's a wand and the power behind it depends on the one who wields it."

Luisa laughed as the two continued talking, solidifying plans for getting into the next quidditch match together, double checking the rest of the schedule against each other, they had a couple classes together, which was amazing. A good friend she could spend time together.
She went over her plan to have as much fun as possible at hogwarts. Obviously if something was allowed by the school rules shed follow, but if it wasn't? Who cared, besides being expelled would likely be incredibly difficult all things considered.
“Beyond classes and such are you hoping to do anything around here? It is a huge castle, my parents told me there were a bunch of secret passage ways throughout it, and several secret rooms as well, we could go find some of them?” she smiled as she thought about all the fun one could have in places where rules might be harder to enforce “obviously we are going to watch quidditch together but theres got to be other things your interested in doing?” she really hoped he wouldn't tell her he liked studying. It was certainly a fine enough thing to do, passed the time, and helped with grades but it wasn't exactly fun.
