Cathryn loves to learn new things. She has always been top of her class and even skipped the 4th grade. She lives with her father Alexander (Alex) and her aunt, Catarina. Catarina technical isn't her aunt but has always been there for her ever since her birth mother Camila left when she was 6 months old, and no one has seen or heard from her since. Her mother is a dark witch who only practices dark magic. Alex didn't know this until after they were married and she was pregnant with there child. Not wanting to leave the child alone and pray victim to evil Alex stayed with Camile. One day Camile disappeared leving Alex alone to raise their child. Alexander felt like this was better because now he could raise the child to be pure of heart. Alex never re-married or even had any significant others.
Cathryn is an only child, but that's okay because she and her friend Oliver have become so close that they might as well be brother and Sister. Oliver and Cathryn have known each other since kindergarten and have been practically inseparable the entire time that they have been friends. Oliver is one year younger and Cathryn hopes that he will come to Hogwarts as well when he turns 11. Cathryn and Oliver exchange letters every day. Cathryn has two cats and one dog waiting for her at home that she misses dearly. The cats' names are Charmaine meow and Church, and the dogs' name is Max. Charmaine meow is a young, friendly, and playful cat. Church, on the other hand, is old and grumpy. Max is just a pup. She just barely got him for her 11th birthday. Max is a Pug and she thinks he is the cutest thing ever (aside from her cats even though one of them is a little turd). Max loves to play fetch and chase the neighborhood cats. Oddly enough all her pets get along swimmingly (not that She is complaining). She has always dreamed of being a part of something great. Something bigger than herself or any one person. She wants to be a hero in someone's eyes and feels that Hogwarts will help her on her way.
