Clark had a great plan. It was going to involve smashing. The creators of the band 'Smashing Pumpkins' are not that cool when in comparison, it is just so much more fun to just proceed to smash glass balls! Like? The goblin grabbed one, and eagerly spun around for his target. He shut his eyes and allowed himself to turn his body in a circle faster and faster until all of a sudden he brought himself to a complete halt, and he threw the glass orb at the target. The window shattered and it was such a satisfying sound. The boy's face illuminated with a bright smile, so bright, you could've probably have seen the canines.

Granted, due to the curtains, all that happened was the ball slammed into the curtains and the impact of the solid ball slamming into the curtain, a thin material that was flexible, verses a wall where it does not move, and crashed into the window, therefore making a gaping hole bigger than the crystal ball that slammed into it. The crystal ball itself shattered upon the contact-but-not-contact of the window and bounced off in front of the curtains. If one looked closely though, they could probably see glass shards in the woven fabric.

The goblin pulled out his wand and spoke the words he so adored. "Incendio Duo."

He giggled, kind of making himself look like the girl from the arson meme.

Divination had never really interested Lyanna too much, but she respected other people's opinions on that. What did interest her though, was new profs coming to Hogwarts and replacing others. Even if the subject that the new prof taught wasn't one she took yet, Lyanna always went to introduce herself quickly just to see what to expect. And yes, also to make avoiding detention easier, because what was more important than that?!

Either way, whatever the reason, Lyanna left her common room as soon as she heard the news and started heading up, up, up the many staircases to the Divination classroom in the North Tower. Instead of the usual Hogwarts scent that always greeted her when entering a classroom, that of books, parchment and ink, there was something off about the smell coming from the room. Smoke. Knocking on the door leading to one of the only places she'd never been to yet during her time at Hogwarts, Lyanna opened it and stepped inside.

The sight in front of her gave her a déjà-vu, a flashback of only a few days previously. That night Clark Baird had set her neighboring dorm on fire, the Plant Palace, which became complete chaos. Who would've expected almost exactly the same thing to happen again though, after so little time had passed? Certainly not Lyanna, but there she was, blinking at him as he set the place on fire. The windows were broken, the room aflame, what was next?

Not only that though, but what was Lyanna supposed to do? She didn't want detention, she was too busy already, so she hardly had a choice. Would she mutter "Extinguo" though? She wasn't sure as she looked questioningly at the second year, a wide grin plastered on his face just like the other night. "Again, Clark? Are you trying to beat the world record of burning down Hogwarts, or is it getting detention you're so interested in?" she asked sarcastically. That boy would never learn would he? Or was there actually a reason for all of it? Either way, she couldn't help feeling and looking slightly amused, even if it was starting to become a lot a bit much. Who wouldn't?

Desislava hadn't thought that she would need to redecorate so quickly. In fact she had been planning on putting it off until later than night when she was ready to set up her bedroom in the Tower she would be staying in. Her teaching wouldn't officially start until tomorrow which meant she had time to take a walk around Hogwarts and acclimate herself to the frisky Scottish weather.

When she returned to the Divination Tower, she was surprised and mildly bewildered to see that her classroom's belongings, and subsequently the old curtains that stayed within the tower were either destroyed or on fire. Her eyes slanted in a frustrated glare and she looked towards the perpetrator, or perpetrators who where standing there, just as bewildered at seeing her. With a flick of her wand and a muttered "Extinguo," she extinguished the flames that were eating up the curtains before they destroyed anything else, turning her attention to the two students. Hogwarts believed that Divination was not a subject that should be taught before third year yet the students who stood before her did not look to be of age yet.

"You come here. Destroy my things. For what purpose?" she asked in a blunt tone as she ushered the boy who stood in a ring of shattered crystal away from the shards before he gave himself a cut. "Speak! I asked you a question."

She looked at the two of them with an unfortunate grimace on her face. While this might eb her first teaching position, she was very aware that this was unacceptable for students to do in a classroom. She would need to remember to lock her doors better if this was what to happen whenever she left for the day or even for just a few minutes.

The boy seemed to be the ring leader, just based off the evidence that she could see. The girl... She wasn't sure yet. But she knew that whatever the case, she was at least here and caught as well.

The Seer of the Sea

Clark stared at the girl that came in. It was that bloody hufflepuff... from april fools. That lovely little prank he did? Well, he was humiliated in exchange for their safety. Bloody horrendous. Though, what he did get out of that was to not set the dorm on fire. Rather, he should just soak everyone with a storm. It wasn't going to kill them.

"Lyanna." He scoffed. "No, of course I am not trying to destroy Hogwarts. I am simply trying to remodel the hideous place. It needs the 'clark' touch. That will make it a masterpiece instantly!" He gasped dramatically, as if envisioning the new look. His eyes went wide, his face appeared to be overjoyed and he stared off at the ceiling, his back slightly arched and his hands splayed.

His ears heard another voice and it sounded older. Not that much older, of course, it did not sound like a granny, but it sounded like a female.. maybe not too far off from hitting her twenties. Her voice seemed different from the average teenager. But, maybe Clark was just hearing her differently.

He badly wanted to say '[bad word]' to the grown up, but he did not. He refrained from cursing her out. But he was going to address Lyanna. His eyes squinted and he approached her, attempting to be daunting. "Oh Lyanna. You have no idea what you got yourself into." He threw his arm back, then released the tension so that it would hopefully ricochet into her face.

If the punch landed, Clark would pull back his fist in pain and seethe. He turned and faced the woman. "Oh. Well. I gave you a nice little remodel. Don't you like it missy?"

She should've acted and she knew it. She should've cast Extinguo on the curtains that were aflame. She should've and she knew it, but instead she stood rooted on the spot from the moment that professor Nenovsky entered the room. Her face had become too pale in but a second. Lyanna Oak had been caught. Caught for something she hadn't done.

Being strong doesn't mean never falling down, otherwise the flowers would never bloom.

The 12-year old had come for a good reason. She'd wanted to greet her new professor kindly, to make a good first impression. Well, forget that, instead the whirlwind had made her stumble, and now Lyanna didn't have time to retrace her actions and change her fate. She'd have to live with the fact that she would probably get detention for the first time because of what someone else had done. Specifically because of what Clark Baird had done. How had the sorting hat even pictured putting him in Hufflepuff was undeniably crazy to think about.

But now, the only three things that filled her mind were anger, regret and dread.

Desislava Nenovsky was looking at Clark though as she spoke. She pulled him away from the shattered orb-fragments and extinguished the fire with an "Extinguo" of her own. But then the professor turned to both of them with a grimace that seemed to pierce her all the way into her soul. Not the annoyance, the disappointment. Like when you do something wrong and your parents say: "I'm not angry, I'm disappointed," which actually seems far worse.

And then there was Clark himself.

As she'd come in moments ago, he literally told her the place needed a "Clark" look to it- the absurdity of it was actually almost funny. Lyanna raised her eyebrow, clearly not amused by the damage the boy had done but rather his reasons for why he'd done it. Turning a "hideous place" into a "masterpiece" by burning it down? That didn't align at all with Lyanna's thoughts of what a normal masterpiece was. Well, the boy didn't align with what for her the category normal was, so there was actually some logic in that.

But then she came, and he made everything worse.

Professor Nenovsky had (as stated before) walked into the room and talked to them, but then Clark turned his attention to Lyanna instead. What an annoying idiot boy, obviously looking for trouble. He strode over to her, trying to be- daunting? Him? Okay so maybe he had just set the place on fire, but he was literally a whole foot shorter than her. Suppressing a laugh, she heard Clark speak yet again.

"Oh Lyanna. You have no idea what you got yourself into."

And with that, he pulled his arm back and- CRUNCH. "OW! What the hell was that all about Clark?!" Covering her nose with her hand which had just been punched hard by Clark, Lyanna felt it slightly bleeding. "I- I'm fine," she would say if the professor asked her if she was hurt or okay, but in the meantime she saw Clark pull his fist back in pain. Karma, she couldn't help thinking with slight satisfaction. Lyanna felt as if her heart was beating in her nose, and it didn't feel good, but at least he knew how hard he had hit.

But Clark wasn't done yet.

He then turned to professor Nenovski and finally spoke to her. But he didn't say sorry, which would have been very out of character for him anyway, but instead commented with an "Oh. Well. I gave you a nice little remodel. Don't you like it missy?" And despite everything that had happened, it had certainly become the most interesting welcome to any Divination teacher she'd ever recalled witnessing or hearing of. In a good way or in a bad way though, she didn't yet know.

Desislava's jaw dropped as she watched the boy send a flying crunch towards the girl's nose. In an instant, she kicked one of her new seats open, pointing at it and giving him a stern glare -though she knew that there likely wouldn't be any follow through on her instructions- as she went to attend to the girl and her potentially broken nose.

"You will sit and think about what you have done and what you are doing."

Taking the girl's face in her hands with a gentle "May I?", she turned it to the side to assess the damage. Not broken but definitely bruised.

"Tsk tsk, you are bleeding. I can fix." Desislava said as she motioned for the girl to sit down in another one of the plush swivel chairs, far away from the boy who had just punched her, as she helped the girl clean up the blood that was trickling from her nose. With this added incident, she couldn't overlook the clear rule breaking that had been going on.

Desislava turned to the boy with a deep frown and furrowed brow.

"What is your name?" she asked wih a bit of a glower to her voice. Never had she ever raised her voice to someone younger than her when it was not due to a dangerous situation and she would not be starting now. However, this student in front of her was clearly baiting her into a slight rage.

She would not give into what he so clearly wanted which was chaos.

"Additionally, I expect you to apologize and you will be serving detention with me this coming weekend." Desislava said as she tended to the poor girl. She felt bad as it seemed the girl hadn't done anything other than be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"You dear, what is your name? You are not in trouble, just for my own documentation." Desislava asked as she checked over the girls nose.

Clark stared at Lyanna, then at the screeching of the chair being moved on the floor. "Lyanna, I do not have to explain myself to you." He coughed. "My name is Logan Baird and I stay in Badger Bungalow." He said proudly, but tried to give the other puff a side eye, or at least a look that indicated 'don't you dare tell her a damn thing.'

"Hey, professor. Eyes over here. I'm more important than that girl over there." The goblin said, demanding attention, also snapping his fingers and tapping his foot on the ground rapidly. "I am not sorry about what I did, she deserved it. I just wish I would've broke it." He said crudely, his expression dropping to appear as if salty.

He wasn't sure what to think, what to say, but he was definitely seated at this point and he slouched his back, resting on his arms as they served as a way to prop him up. He continued to stare at Lyanna, giving her dirty looks. "I will punch you again if you say anything." He grumbled, voice low and rigid.

"I mean it." Clark stated. He looked back at the professor. "That's the dork that lives in our House. She knows I'm Logan. RIGHT?" His eyes intentionally boggled as he tried to look assertive, aggressive to the young puff.
