Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff 1st Game Finished

The brunette second-year, Dawn, had been very excited when she heard that she was on the team. Now her heart was thumping and her insides were churning with nervousness. As she pulled on her uniform and grabbed her broom, she remembered her mother´s encouraging words in the letter she had received from her family after being put on the team. 

Racing out to the pitch, she thought, why Slytherin, it oculd have been anyone, but they choose to put us up against Slytherin. She had heard some pretty nasty stories of Slytherin playing dirty at quidditch before, . Was it even right to let them have a quidditch team, with some of the stuff they´d done beofre? Mounting her broom, she prayed that this year´s Slytherin team wouldn´t play dirty.

Action:

Hope that Slytherin doesn´t cheat, then mount broom and get ready to play.

Annie jogged over to the field, her adrenaline rushing through her veins. She was recently chosen to be a first-string chaser on the Hufflepuff team. A small smile appeared on her face. The girl looked up to the crowd gathered seeing flashes of green and silver of which she ignored. Instead she turned her attention to the stands of huddled yellow and black Hufflepuffs and waved.

She was determined to try her hardest, even if their team didn't win she wouldn't let them down. Turning her attention back to where she was at she nodded towards the rest of the team including the benched players. She approached the rest of the team and they all were watching the field and inspecting the other team.

"I hear they play rough, let's see what they've got.." Her challenging side came out as the smirk on her face turned into a gleam in her eyes. Annie quickly cleared her head with a few shakes. She let out a deep breath she didn't know she had been holding and glanced around the Quiddich Pitch. Her eyes gazed over towards the box the snitch, waffle and blushes would be released from.

Her adrenaline kicked back into high gear and she gritted her jaw and dug her feet into the ground. A new fire lit in her eyes, a look of determination. Let's go Hufflepuffs, yellow and black for the win!" She grinned and got into her ready position with her broom, her eyes fixated on the goal at hand.

Action: Enters pitch and is in ready position.

Ruby made her way onto the field, a slight pang of jealousy coursing through her as she watched the first string players mount their brooms and fly off. She wanted to be up there, but she would still support them. At least she could watch, and she might have a possibility to eventually play. Hopefully, it wouldn't come to that, as it would probably be due to injury. She didn't want any of the three Chasers up there to get injured, she wanted them to win – crush the opposition.

She folded her arms and stood near the bench, her cold blue eyes staring at them, waiting for things to happen. She was excited – Quidditch was a fast-paced sport with many possibilities. A slight smile played across her lips as she whispered, “You've got this, guys.”

Action: Benched but ready.

The Players were ready, the crowd was anxious, the sky was sunny and, the game was about to begin! The players would look at each other, grips tightening on their brooms, hearts racing in their chests, adrenaline pumping through their veins. Time ticked by slowly, every second lasting hours. until finally a sharp whistle pierced the air and the Balls were released! The Quaffle flew straight upwards, The bludgers careened wildly and crashed into each other before rocketing off and the Golden snitch was nothing more than a golden shimmer you thought you had seen.

The Match had begun!

CHASERS

As the Quaffle was launched into the air the Chasers immediately rocketed forward, Each vying for the ball, each reaching and pushing and maneuvering. Ultimately It was the Hufflepuff named Annie Morgan who came to claim ownership over the Quaffle, Flanked on either side by her team in a perfectly Executed hawkshead manuever! The three chasers screamed across the field towards the Goals, Carson Miller and Dawn Riley expertly keeping the enemy Chasers at bay until the arrived within range of the Goals and-

Despite the energy and spunk displayed by the peppy Hufflepuff, Annie Morgan was unable to make the goal! It seems that from the moment the opposing team collected the Quaffle Koko Riddle had her eye on it. Waiting, ready, determined. Despite the best efforts of the Hufflepuff chaser, the Slytherin Keeper was able to easily block to the attempt on her goal. Slytherin was never one to balk in the face of battle!

As the battle over the Quaffle took place there were four players focused entirely on their own task. The Brave beaters, bats in hand were tracking and waiting to get into position for the perfect attack. Contrary to what many believe about their Nature it would be the Hufflepuff Beaters who saw the perfect opportunity first, and rushed towards a single bludger with the intent of using team work to bring down an enemy player. Saskia Nicholson and Quin Healy moved in sync towards the bludger and with a resounding crack the two of them struck the bludger together and sent it careening towards Koko Riddle, determined to make sure she could not continue to protect the goal!

Koko Riddle was in true form this day. Not only had she effortless stared down a hawkshead formation without blinking and defended her goal, but now she faced two beaters(one of them a half giant) and her confidence never wavered! As the bludger tore through the air towards her she held her position and waited until just the right moment and deftly moved out of the way, the bludger crashing into the goal post and whizzing off somewhere else.

Unfortunately that "Somewhere else" happened to be towards the Slytherin beater by the name of Erin Ryan. She had a determined, if not demented, look on her face as the bludger soared towards her. She knew exactly who her target was, she had been watching him since the bludgers flew free. And now there he sat infront of her. With a loud crack she struck the bludger and it flew towards the half giant. At the same time the other Slytherin beater named Bridget Collins must have either seen her partners move and agreed, or simply by coincidence they decided on the same target. how ever it was decided she had managed to track down her own bludger and with a powerful swing sent another flying at the hufflepuff.

The Poor half giant Quin Healy was struck with a mighty blow from Erin Ryan, yet despite the pain he must have felt from it the hearty boy held onto his broom, determined to stay strong for his team! the noble hufflepuff would have been able to as well had Bridget Collins not also sent a bludger for him. The second bludger was more than the boy could handle and alas Quin Healy was knocked from his broom to go plummeting down below!

Almost separate from the chaos reigning between the chasers and the Beaters there was another competition going on between one Dan Palmer and Julie Shaw, the Seekers of the team. They could not pay attention to the madness going on around the field, they needed to find the ever illusive, ever tricky, and ever Insane Golden Snitch

SEEKERS

While the two young Seekers scanned the fields in their own methods(flying around or sitting and waiting) Julie Shaw Couldn't help but notice the charming features of Koko Riddle as she battled valiantly against score attempts and bludgers. Thankfully for the Hufflepuff seeker something far more enticing caught her sharp eye. The Golden Snitch. It had zipped right through the outskirts of her vision and she managed to turn and track it as it zoomed past and she gave chaser, determined to claim victory for her team! Elsewhere, Dan Palmer searched in vain to find the thing he sought after so much! Was he looking in the wrong place? just barely missing it? or maybe the chaos was messing with his concentration? only he really knew.

Quinn... This was her chance!

Erin ripped across the field on her Blue Bottle, it felt like it was going faster than the minivan of brooms actually was as she gripped tightly onto the broom shaft. Her eyes darted in either direction, she was watching for the bludger, it should wildly zip past her at any point. She could see it before she could hear it whistle roughly in her position. Thinking quickly she would cross her legs under the broom to maintain her seat as she wielded her bat. Too bar from Quinn to simply attack him with the bat and remove the middle man, with a mighty THWACK Erin's bat collided with the bludger and sent it flying in Quinn's direction. 

The bludger would hit him hard. Erin would race toward him, ripping him (illegally) from the broom if necessary, however a second bludger would find Quinn. Already off balance and bruised from Erin's almost successful attempt, the second bludger was more than the half-giant could take. He would lose his grip on the broom and fall.

Nobody would save the evil half-giant. It was a fitting end for Blunderbore, it would also be a fitting end for Quinn Healy Erin concluded. Her job was complete, she could just land her broom now and let the rest of these nerds play out their game. This would be her best chance to--

Oh snap... Kovacs is coming out.

Erin has already started to descend on her broom. She had every intention of landing and following Quinn off the field, that was until she remembered Kovacs was up next. She stared at him as he mounted his broom (assuming he posts) and enters the quidditch field. She took a long breath as she looked mournfully at the staff taking Quinn away. Fine... More heroics then, she concluded with a disgruntled attitude. She saw herself the hero in this twisted story, Quinn an obviously evil half giant. Reid Kovacs, some sort of death witch of midget giant. 

"I want Kovacs Dan!" Erin shouted across the field. "I will kick anyone's ass that beats me to it!" Her intentions less than a secret, Erin was as subtle as an atomic explosion. Erin looked at Reid like a hungry dog as she readied her bat. 

Erin announces her want to attack Reid to Dan/everyone. 
Erin's actual move is deferred to the collective decision of the team.

Santario grinned when she heard “MUPPET” screamed from the stands. Her sharp sapphire eyes scanned the stands until they landed on Kyle DeRook… Dressed in the most ridiculous get-up she had ever seen in her life and she laughed. “JUST WAIT TILL WE GET THE CHANCE TO WHOOP YOU ROOK!” She yelled at him before the quaffle being tossed caught her attention and she turned back to the field watching the action intensely. Puffs grabbed the quaffle but when they tried to score Koko denied them their glory. “GOOD JOB KOKO! She called out to her first string counterpart. It was however when Koko dodge the bludger that the puff beaters threw at her that San jumped to her feet and cheered for her!

That was when her teams’ beaters walloped their bludgers towards the really big kid… and down he went crashing to the ground. San would gasp, her hands flying to her mouth with a wince as she looked at the rest of her teammates hoping none of them would reach the same fate whether that meant she could hit the field or not. She would continue to cheer for her team.

Cheering for her team on the bench and readied in case she is needed.

Oh no. They were not going to get this goal. Koko gritted her teeth. She hated these Puffs. She locked eyes with the three badgers flying towards her and got ready to defend the goal at all costs. And block she did, managing to knock the Quaffle away somehow. Koko would try to wipe the smirk from her face in vain. That smirk was going to be there, proving her arrogance.

Just barely had she glanced back around the pitch, becoming more aware of her surroundings, did she see a bludger hurtling towards her. "What the hell!?" she exclaimed, waiting what she hoped wouldn't be a second too long and then swerving around one of the goalposts to hopefully avoid it. Luckily for Koko, the deadly ball slammed into a goalpost and went hurtling off to Erin. Yes, Koko still wore her triumphant - and somewhat cocky - smile. She flew back to her position and perched on the broom, her hands gripping the shaft again.

A whoop escaped her lips when Erin's bludger hit Quinn, quickly followed by one from Bridget. "GOOD JOB, GUYS!" She was grinning. Slytherin would win this, they had to, and Koko was ready to do anything to ensure that.

As soon as the quaffle was tossed up into the air all the chasers shot up towards it. After a minute or so of pushing and shoving, it was Dawn's fellow Hufflepuff, Annie Morgan who came out on top. Annie shot towards the goalposts. Dawn and the other chaser, Carson Miller flanked Annie on either side as the trio shot towards the goals. While Annie had her focus on the goal, Dawn and Carson tried their hardest to get rid of any Slytherin chasers coming their way.

Annie raised the quaffle and attempted to throw a goal, but, alas, Koko Riddle, Slytherin's keeper expertly blocked the goal. Dawn's attention was suddenly torn away from her Chaser duties. A Slytherin beater, Erin Ryan had smacked a bludger at Quin Healy, a Hufflepuff Beater. Quin may have kept on playing if it wasn't for the other Slytherin Beater, Bridget Collins who also fired a bludger at him. Dawn watched in dismay as Quin was carried off of the pitch

As some Hufflepuff girl wove her way through the air towards Koko, Thora gasped. Please don't score, please don't score, the Irish girl chanted under her breath. Thankfully, Koko both denied the Puffs the goal and dodged a Bludger hurtling her way. Barely. The Bludger missed Koko by just a hair and was deflected off one of the goalposts. "Great job, Koko!" the redhead yelled as she joined Santario on her feet.

A satisfying crack of a ball and bat could be heard, and Thora glanced upwards to see both Erin and Bridget, the Slytherin beaters, smacking bludgers towards the same target. Quinn Healy evidently didn't see it coming as Erin's bludger smacked into him with a sickening thud. Bridget's hit home a second later, knocking Quinn clean off his broom. The redhead gasped. Slytherin or not, she wouldn't wish that on any player. But this was Quidditch, after all, so wasn't this what she should've expected? The third year was a half-giant, but Erin had killer strength. "Nice job, guys!" Thora yelled to her team.

"QUINN!" Serena called out as she witnessed the brutality of that Ryan girl and the other Slytherin beater that she did not recognise. The poor guy got knocked off his broom, "Damn it!" She cursed under her breath, annoyed that she couldn't help him. He was in the middle of the pitch, she could not exactly go in and save him. Plus he was like at least twice the size of her. Literally. So she probably should leave it to the adults. This was why Hogwarts had nurses, after all.

She frowned as she stared at the taller Hufflepuff, hoping he was okay. Turning to one of her oldest friends in the school, who was likely getting ready to get up there now, "Reid. Go kick their butts." She scowled. They had attacked the co-captain so quickly that the boy barely had time to play. She silently prayed that he would be okay. Ryan had already made a declaration to go for him. Hopefully he could dodge her attacks.

Serena could not do anything from the stands but hopefully, Reid could go kick their butts for her. He was far stronger than she was, to say the least. "COME ON BADGERS!" She cheered as loudly as she could, trying to keep the rest of the team motivated.
