This was the owl she had sent to him two days ago not only was she not sure that he had gotten it, but she also wasn’t sure he would even come. So much had happened between the two over the past couple of weeks, and she wanted nothing more than to just move on and be friends again. She also wanted to explain herself she couldn’t get out of her head the way he had looked at her the day of the lake.Rook,
If you still want to help me, I’ll be in the classroom on Saturday at noon. I’ll understand if you don’t want to come.
~Muppet
She had arrived at the classroom 2 hours early and had pushed the desks to one side of the room and set up a dressing partition that she could change behind for privacy. She had one desk right next to it that held a stack of 6 very fancy looking boxes holding the dresses her grandmother in France had sent. The 7th and last box in the stack didn’t look as fancy but it was something, she had dismissed thinking that her grandmother had just gotten it at a different store than the others.
It got closer and closer to noon and she leaned against a desk biting her lower lip with her arms crossed practically holding herself. If he didn’t show up… No, she scolded herself mentally for even thinking that way. He would show up, right? After a little while longer of waiting for the door would finally open and her face would light up with a smile when she saw his face.
@Kyle DeRook

When Kyle got the letter he was sitting at the breakfast table and had a mouthful of eggs and toast. With a curious expression he opened it and read the letter before, quite audibly, banging his head against the table. After their last encounter he was sure she wanted nothing to do with him. And yet here she was asking him to show up and help her look at dresses no less. What was even with this girl? He let out a huff, accidentally spitting out some eggs before he finished chewing his food and swallowing it.
When the day came he sat in the common Room playing himself in Wizards chess like he usually did when he was restless, something about the game cleared his mind and helped him relax. Despite how well the game was going his eyes kept being torn away to the clock. It was getting closer and closer to noon and he was still in his night cloths. With a frustrated noises he rubbed his face vigorously and stood up and stomped up the stairs to his bunk.
Kyle threw on pair of jeans with tears in the knees, a grey shirt with a red and orange flame graphic, slipped on his usual well broke in boots and finally he put on his recently re-aquired leather jacket. As he went to leave Kyle stopped and he looked back to his bed. on the back right bed post his pillow squirmed, tied up with his scarf. He shook his head and walked over to hit and flicked the pillow "Stay out of the bathroom you menace". Reluctantly Kyle untied his moving pillow and it skittered across the bed, onto the floor, and under the bed. Plotting its next strike no less.
As Kyle walked down the hall towards the room mentioned he rolled his neck. He had been less nervous when he stepped forward to wear the sorting hat. Surely this wasnt an elaborate prank to get him back for being an ass. She was his friend right? He pushed open the door and offered a shrug and looked to the side passively "Yeah I know I'm Kinda late" then he extended the scarf forward "Here"

Santario was dressed simply in a grey v-neck t-shirt, her locket, black jeans, and her chucks. She was going to have to change a lot, so it was easier not to over complicate things, besides her shoes. She wouldn’t compromise on wearing her chucks they were her favorite shoes. He didn’t look at her when he entered the room but that did not stop her from swiftly crossing the distance and ignoring the held-out scarf. He had remembered that she asked for it so that she could cheer for him at his upcoming quidditch match. She hadn’t expected him to bring it which only made today better.
If he did not stop her, she would slip her arms around him under his jacket and hug him tightly. She would hold it for a handful of seconds, it would be long enough for him to catch the scent of vanilla and almond. Whether he hugged her back or not she didn’t care she just wanted to hug him before pulling away and accepting the scarf. If he did stop her, she would just accept the scarf with a smile.
She smiled brightly up at him those sapphire eyes lighting up. “I’m sorry I am socially awkward I don’t know how to act around new people. I wasn’t allowed to socialize before coming here besides watching the adults. The only reason we clicked so well is because you got hurt and I was far more concerned about you than I was about trying to figure out how I am supposed to act.” The words tumbled out from between her lips before she could even think about what she was saying. “I figured since you are the person I trust the most that letting you laugh at me in more than likely hideous dresses would help you forgive me.” Yes, here she was asking him for forgiveness as she stared up at him searching his eyes for the answer as she spoke, assuming he would look at her.

Kyle could smell the Vanilla and Almond before San even reached up, it was definitely the kind of smell one would remember even if they didn't have the enhanced senses of a werewolf. Kyle on the other hand most likely smelled like Broom wax and Pine, wile not being bad smells exactly, they were harsher and were more polarizing in weather or not people liked them.
Kyle had most certainly not expected the hug or the cascade of talking that gushed forth afterword. he let out a slight chuckle and instead of returning the hug he simply patted her on the head twice with his free hand then broke the hug and stuffed the scarf into her arms as he walked past her into the room. "Take a breath spaz, I said I had Quidditch Practice. Thats why I left so quick. Captain cant be late" instead of facing and explaining what his particular issues were he chose instead to ignore them and just act as if nothing had happened. It was easier.
Kyle slipped his hands into his jacket pockets as he always did when he wore his leather jacket and he looked around the room. "Alright, lets see these dresses and get the show on the road huh? Don't wanna be here all day. there was a lightness to his tone that despite the seemingly shortness of his statement betrayed the more lighthearted intent beneath.

Kyle’s scent never bothered it was unique to him as far as she was concerned and somewhat represented something that he had help instill a love in for her. Afterall if it wasn’t for quidditch they never would have met so any smell that reminds her of quidditch also reminds her of him. She would walk over to the partition and sling the scarf over it so that it was hanging over the top. It would be easier to have it hang with her clothes when she put them there so that she didn’t forget it and she fully planned on wearing it when she left today.
She moved behind the partition and grabbed the first box off of the table. He would hear some rustling noises of tissue paper before a stifled scream. “Oh noooo! I can’t wear this! She doesn’t know me at all. Why does she always want me to wear garbage like this?” She complained to herself as her shirt flung up to hang on the partition next to his scarf followed by her pants. She pulled the dress up and fastened it closed before groaning. “You’re never going to let me live these down…” She groaned as she stepped out from the partition wearing a hideous frilly pink dress, her black chucks still adorning her feet, and a pout on her face.

Kyle walked over to a chair on the other side of the partition and sat down with a plop. He was glad that San didn't absolutely hate him and that she accepted his attempt to act like nothing had happened and move on past it. Though what he was not entirely interested in was looking at dresses or whatever the hell she had in mind. That was just a lame girly thing to do, did he really come across as the kind of guy who would have insight on that kind of thing? What a waste of time.
Then her pants and shirt hung over the top of the partition and Kyle's cheeks got hot as it dawned on him he was not just looking at dresses, he was looking at dresses on her. and to put them on she needed to take off her other cloths. so the partition was so he couldnt see her in her undergarments.
Kyle rubbed his forehead and looked down and away from the partition when he heard her say “You’re never going to let me live these down…”. Kyle looked up and saw the Pink dress and he scoffed.
"Im pretty sure thats like...a prom dress from the 60's. Which grandma's closet did you steal that thing from" he chuckled and shook his head

Santario made a face at him. “I didn’t choose this!! My French Grandmother sent these. I would never choose this.” She scoffed and moved back behind the partition undoing the pink dress and placing it back inside of the box before setting that on the floor. She was very careful not to have any portions of her show from around the partition than would be appropriate as she grabbed the next box. She opened the box with again more tissue. “What are we in the 18th century?!’ She put on the frumpy green dress and stepped out for him to see. “If you even pretend to suggest I wear this in public I will smack you.”
After that she would disappear behind the partition once more and grab the next box. Again more rustling of tissue paper she extracted the next dress out of the box. She changed dresses gently putting the ugly green one away folding it and laying it inside of the box before stacking it gently on top of the definitely a nope pile. “Okay… This one isn’t… Disgusting. She stepped out wearing the purple tulle dress with a doubting half smile on her face. Her fingers played anxiously with the bottom of the skirt. “I still don’t think this is me though?”

Kyle rolled his eyes as she made excuses for the pink dress before Disappearing back behind the partition to change on another dress. When she stepped back out this time she was in some stuffy looking green dress and Kyle let out another laugh and he leaned forwards to rest his forearms on his knees. "Muppet cmon you cant be serious. That looks like the runner up for best dress at a Ren faire or something" he wasn't entire sure what these ridiculous dresses were for or where she was getting them but it was a riot. Despite how weird it was that he was helping with dresses instead of other girls it was nice to laugh with San again their last encounter.
after the green dress she stepped back again and this time changed into some prissy purple dress that was much shorter than others coming to her knees instead of down to the ground. Kyle rubbed his face and shook his head. "See now ya just look like one of those ankle biters around holiday time. 'Look Mable, isn't the newborn getting big! look at her dress'" he chuckled and shook his head. "Do you have Anything actually wearable back there or no?"

Santario laughed when he said she looked like an ankle-biter her hands flying to her face in embarrassment. ” Grandmother de Clairmont, picked these out. I would never choose any of these things. She’s a horrible rich old lady and it’s her way or the highway.” San disappeared back behind the partition. There were only two more boxes left and she prayed one of them was good. If she sent all of them back there would be hell to pay no doubt in the form of a howler. “She’s a cruel woman and a master manipulator. She used to tie me to chairs until I learned how to eat sitting perfectly straight without touching the table with more than one wrist at a time.” The way she said it implied that the woman’s cruel nature ran a bit deeper than she was letting on.
The last fancy white box disappeared behind the partition before she slipped out of the purple dress and put it away. This time when the tissue paper was rustling she let out a snort. “Does she really think something like this is fit for the Halloween masquerade ball?! It’s practically a wedding dress! White doesn’t even work with my pale skin! Why does she hate me?!” Fabric would rustle as she got into this dress. She would appear on the other side of the partition holding up the dress. It was a more than floor-length white dress with odd gold detail at the top. “I-I just… What was she even thinking? This woman wants to rule my life but she can’t remember that I’m just never going to be the girl in a white dress?” She looked a little miserable. She was obviously enjoying her time with him in general but none of these dresses were her. Her last hope lay with that shabby box left on the table. “Thank you for wasting your time with me today. I just don’t trust anyone else to be honest with me. I’m sure if I asked a girl they would have told me to wear that purple thing.”

Kyle wasn't entirely sure why but he was finding himself having a good time laughing with the slytherin girl over the dresses. As much as he was making fun of each new dress the girl put on he couldnt deny that she did look nice in each of the dresses. Or maybe it was just her? He shook his head slightly to dismiss the thought as he leaned back while waiting for the next dress.
Then she stepped out once more and was in some white dress with a huge gold thing spread across her chest. "The heck is that! Did a snitch explode on your dress?" he laughed and shook his head a few times. "Yeah that one is not good either Muppet, Granny has some Shite ideas"
Suddenly there was a thud on the door as if someone had ran into it headfirst. a few moments later there was erratic knocking, followed by a sort of high pitched Humming and Kyle let out a loud Groan. He knew exactly who that was...and he was surprised his mother actually sent her. Heck, When did his mom send her. Knowing who it was, it could have been a task the individual was given 6 months ago and just now got around to doing. or maybe they got lost on the way to the store...again.
Kyle rose and gave San a look "Sorry in advance" then he crossed the room and opened the door and there stood a short house elf, standing somewhere between two and three feet tall. To anyone familiar with elves it might be obvious she was a...well a she, but if not her yellow polka dot overalls and white shirt covered in unicorns might help get across her gender. "Master Kyle! Ive been lookin all over for you! Its not nice to hide from Solkey no no no, She gets lost easy yes she does" The elf spoke with a high pitched and chipper voice, doing her best to mimic an Irish accent. In her arms was a package and she held it up proudly. "I didn't lose or accidentally feed the delivery to a bear this time!" she added cheerily. Kyle took the the package and shook his head "Yes...thank you Solkey..."
The house elf sort of...pranced around the room and sat in a random corner and began to fiddle with the buttons on her overalls, humming to herself. Kyle rolled his eyes and shut the door before returning to his chair and he slid the package under his chair. "Sorry about that...dont mind her..."
