Rock and Rolliver
Oliver refused to summon the spinner. For whatever reason. If she studied the third year's curriculum attentively enough, they shouldn't have studied the Accio yet. Meenauh just assumed that Oliver could have learnt it somehow.
What she liked about him was how his childish mumbling clashed with manly impulses. He was older than her and puberty was probably everting him. She kindly and tenderly smiled at him as he straightened up to put her into her place. Like a man. She sheathed her wand and made a few steps closer to the fist-shaking boy.
"Those... those are the words of a man," she emphasised the last word as she meant it, "I never wanted to duel you. I didn't want to humiliate you, either, to be honest. I don't know what's gotten into me," she frowned, but let it go to think about it later.
She stood really close to the boy, in the distance of a stretched arm. She could clearly see his face and his eyes. Eyes of a child growing up into a man, struggling with his own changing personality. She couldn't care less if the boy would attack her. Probably because she was completely sure he wouldn't. Because great barkers are no biters.
"I'm Meenauh. Like 'me' and 'now'," she said to the boy, stretching out her hand for a handshake. She was just a tiny bit afraid that he could squeeze the life out of her if he would want to. But there was no option in this reality that she could make even a single enemy.
She hid the spinner in her hand, ready to let it slip into the boy's hand once he would accept the handshake.

Oliver couldn't help but smile to himself upon being called a man. It was a rare occurrence, he couldn't even recall it ever being done. Nodding to her statement on the situation, Oliver exhaled and let our all the confrontation feelings he had. He didn't like this at all, he was just unsettling himself and it all made him quite hungry.
"Me-now... Meenauh, got it!" Oliver smiled, he was good with names so he would for sure remember it. "I'm Oliver, like 'olive' and 'er'," Oliver copied her, never introducing himself with a syllable split. "But don't remember me by olives, I don't like them," Oliver added urgently, it being for some reason very important to him. He put his wand into his sleeve and stretched out his hand, grabbing it firmly and shaking it. Firmly for Oliver however was quite weak, it barely felt like a squeeze never mind a crush.
He noticed something drop into his hand and he looked Meenauh in the eyes, confused, hoping it wasn't something gross. It was hard though. He felt it as their hands peeled away before even looking down and recognized the shape immediately. In that moment alone Oliver registered Meenauh for her cunning and strange behavior. She was clearly clever, even if it was just slipping something into his hand. In a way, he felt defeated, although he was glad he'd have a memoir of their meeting, he had refused taking the spinner and now here he was, holding it.
With a smile, he nodded, holding up the spinner only for a moment. He gave her recognition for her win, but if there was no fulfillment in passing him the spinner other than as a kind gesture, then his response would also read as a 'thanks'.
"Hey, you hungry?" Oliver asked, swinging around his gym sack. He pulled it open and dropped in the spinner, presuming it was for keeps, before pulling out some sandwiches in clingfilm. Oliver already begun unwrapping one and stuffed half in his mouth. "Wher' wud!" he exclaimed, showing her his sandwich contents of chicken, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. And maybe a slight sheen of saliva along the edge of his bite mark.

Rock and Rolliver
The boy's attitude changed as the handshake was over. It wasn't a challenge or a fight. She didn't plan to win or at least to compete. The nasty voice inside her was not her own.
Of course, it was, but she just didn't know it yet.
The smile on the boy's face made her own smile wider. That was an acknowledgement of friendliness between the two of them. It was good. It was nice. She didn't make it that far with any boy out there. Scott was just nice, not like they got to be really friendly. Lamik was alright, but it was kind of impossible for her to see him as a friend for now. This boy, introduced quite awkwardly as Oliver, was different. Despite incertitude and protectiveness, the boy was nice. And she felt he wasn't of the weak ones. Yeah, the appearances could still be deceiving, but it was not the strength of the body she noticed. It was a trait to be discovered even by himself.
The next scene was hilariously disgusting, but she couldn't help but laugh out loud. The boy's food offer will be eventually refused for reasons the boy would be able to understand probably. Like, how a person can not eat something, right? At least a half of that sandwich was not edible in her world (and saliva was even not in that half), but she didn't go much into details and restrained herself to a short refusal. The acceptance would probably be a more friendly way to proceed in their situation, but she was not a politician — she wouldn't hide her true self to just get to be liked or accepted.
"We probably should head back to the castle, don't you think? It's like," she looked at the sandwich in the boy's hands/mouth, "mealtime soon."
She threw her bag over the shoulder and started to move backwards step by step, smiling and inviting Oliver to join her on their walk back.

Leaves the thread together with @Oliver Hart, if he'd like, or alone if he doesn't.
