(Dude, really???)

*Lex had just been gazing in the Astronomy tower, loving the vibe it gave, always finding it peaceful there. They had been thinking of maybe taking their friends up there. Asterius maybe, get to know him a bit better. Maybe take Isla and Kai with them so it wasn't awkward or anything. From this, they had been interrupted by Yeseong suddenly grabbing them and taking the trip down to the Great Hall, just as he pushed them into Asterius.*

*They embarrassedly chuckled, taking a seat, knowing Yeseong probably wasn't gonna let this go now.*"We really don't stop running into each other, do we?"
*Lex said, fiddling with a bracelet of theirs, the bracelet saying "Oh he's got me wondering." That being a lyric from the song I Just Threw Out The Love Of My Dreams. by Weezer. Lex loved that song, as well as other things from Weezer. Cavetown was quite an appeal to them as well, usually able to be found rockin' out to Deviltown once in a while. Noticing their friend Graci was there, they spoke up.*"I am so sorry about that."
*Lex spoke, smile on their face as they swept a few strands of their wolf cut out of their face.*"Yo, Graci! How you been doing? The boys still eating random things? Hopefully not Emmi's flowers though. Pretty mad at Colin and Yeseong already, isn't she?

He was talking about how he didn't expect to be in Gryffindor either, which made sense. Most purebloods were in Slytherin. Well, she couldn't say that, just the prideful ones, and she couldn't quite gauge his snottiness yet. But it didn't seem he had any.☆Thoughts= ItalicsCurrent Characters: @Asterius Ebony@Yeseong Lee @Lex Kervick
"Yeah, well, let's hope that potential shows up eventually."
Now he was speaking of the friends he'd met, an Isla, Kai, and Lex. Why does everyone have cool names?
"Well, they all sound very nice, I wish I could've met them, too."
Graci saw something out of the corner of her eye, a flash of green and red, and then people were tripping into people. Oh dear.
Some words were exchanged between Asterius and whoever was pushed into him. Huh, they fiddle with their bracelets too.
Ah, this must be Lex. She figured that purely by observation, and maybe the fact that she had given faces for people she didn't know, just based off their names.
"Yo, Graci! How you been doing? The boys still eating random things? Hopefully not Emmi's flowers though. Pretty mad at Colin and Yeseong already, isn't she?" Lex was addressing Graci like they were old pals, which was actually quite likable as opposed to stiff introductions.
"Ello, Lex. I've been doing ok, I mean, we've been her for a little less than twenty-four hours. I fear the boys will never stop eating weird things. And in my professional opinion, they should run while they can." These people's energy was contagious, Graci didn't know what said energy was yet, but it was fun.

the day after the sorting ceremony Luisa made her way into the great hall. her family had been quite exited when she sent news about her sorting results. her brothers had pestered her for what the "test" was, those boys, no matter what her parents told them they would never quite belive that the sorting was something simple. theyd gone on to ask about sports, and Luisa had replyed with promises to look into Quidditch but her being accepted to the team was unlikely as she was a first year.
she looked around the room for just a moment before spotting a few students sitting at the griffendor table. well she had to make freinds at some point here, and now was a good time to start.
"excuse me'" she said "do you mind if i join you? I uh... well i dont have anywhere to sit at the moment." she gave a kindn smile to the others sitting there. they seemed nice enough, or at least she hoped they were. she hadent quite settled in and didint know enough wizarding children to really have a freind group yet. she hoped the folks here would accept her ask to siit with them

Another person came up, a girl from Gryffindor like themselves. Wow, more and more people just keep showing up, dear heavens. Her thoughts paused. Since when did I say dear heavens? Sheesh, I sound like my grandma.
Now thoughts of her grandma filled her head. On her father's side mind you. That's where Zoe and their father got their bright red hair from. And their sass and all things bookish. Graci had never been quite close to her, preferring to talk to her Greek grandparents. The Byrne side of the family was the side she never quite knew, their uncle being the only one she really talked to. He definitely earned the title of 'fun uncle'. Though, now that h was living in Australia she didn't get to see him much.
"Oh, of course. Come sit." Graci smiled brightly at the girl, "What's your name? I'm Graci, by the way."
No one else was talking so Graci figured she could, it would be rude to not say anything. Heaven forbid she say no. What would her mother say? Something along the lines of 'I have no words' and then continue to lecture her for an hour. That was Penelope Laren for you.

Luisa smiled as the other girl let her sit down, it was rather crowded here, nothing she wasn't accustomed to of course. It was her first day here and she wasn't ready to be alone yet, that could come later. Right now she needed a group to sit down and talk with. She was nervous. She knew who she was with her family, but this was where Duncans had been sorted for generations, she would fit in. hopefully.
“Thank you so much. I’m Luisa Duncan. Nice to meet you.” she held out a hand. She panicked for a moment. Her father had tried to teach her about proper wizarding manners, but she had not paid attention during his lessons. It had not seemed relevant at the time, seeing as half her playmates had been muggleborn or half bloods. “So uh, you exited for school to start? I mean we did just get here but like, magic. Our own wands! Ooohh plus the sports.” she paused, she hoped she wasn't talking too much, she spent so much more time with her brothers and their friends, different vibe then the calmer groups she would occasionally escape to when she was tired, she didn't know where this girl would fall on that scale. “Errr, sorry for talking so much, i really ought to let you get in a word.”

This girl, Luisa, talked a lot. But Graci didn't mind, she needed someone to break the silence.
Graci just nodded along. Excited for school? Yep. Aren't the wands cool? Yep. Aren't the sports wonderful? Not particularly for Graci, but yep. Aren't I talking a lot? Yep. Graci mentally chastised herself, pull it together, you talk more than she does.
"No, no, it's perfectly fine, I'm usually quite chatty myself. And I am very excited about magic. I've only grown up with snippets of it, being a half-blood and all."
Graci wondered if it was socially acceptable to introduce your blood status right after meeting someone. Welp, it is far too late to question that now.
"I feel like wands are a bit similar to glasses. You're very susceptible to losing 'em after taking them off your person. Which is really inefficient like, how am I supposed to cast spells on short notice when I can't even manage to find my wand?"
Graci congratulated herself on filling the conversation gaps, knowing it was a bit narcissistic, but baby steps.
"How are all of you guys feeling about this whole magic thing. I mean, most of you are probably pure-bloods, so you're probably used to this." It must've been so interesting to have such a different view.

Luisa blushed, telling herself off mentally for talking as much as she had. Her father would have scolded her for doing so. Besides, it wasn't a good way to make new friends, the point of talking to people was to learn about them.
“Oh, did your wizarding parent not do too much magic in front of you? I always wondered how those with no magic in front of muggle rules would interact with having a muggle spouse.”
she really should have known this before, what with having a few halfblood classmates before this, but she supposed they would have known just as much as her. She scolded herself for thinking this other girl would know any more about it then she or her classmates. Worth an ask though, she supposed.
“I mean i guess. Loosing your wand is always a possibility. I know my parents always… er ‘lost’ their wands. But they always told me that youll start remembering it more and more. Like your glasses.”
She smiled at the last question
“I've been waiting to come for years. I mean there was always a chance I was a squib… well right until my compact hit my brother over the head on its own accord. I mean magic is just kinda… a part of my life. My family is wizard born. Which means technically not pureblood, cus we got muggle grandparents here and there, but magic is part of who we are.”
