Consequences!!
Ruby had to do a task for the Healers Internship. She decided on Mumblemumps to study on. She stormed into the library as quiet as a little cat and quickly sat down and started to go to the shelves involving ailments and healing. There was an interesting one!
It was titled "Magical Illnesses." She pulled it off from the shelf and saw that there was an index. Mumblemumps was on page 351.
Ruby hated herself for going to the S.P.E.W. meeting instead of doing the notes. She got her school-bag and got out parchment and her bluebird quill. Also her very "cool" dark purple writing ink her mum gave to her.
The page said: "Mumblemumps is an illness where the two main symptoms are mumbling and swelling in the face and neck. Mumblemumps' primary treatment is to rest. Katie Bell of the 1990s Gryffindor Quidditch team once got it and was 'very bored of having nothing to do'. "
THAT'S IT?! Ruby was furious. She considered asking, but she felt like she needed to prove herself, that Octavius Baird CAN rely on her.
Then she slowly started to write about Mumblemumps and then decided to only do it in writing. She was rubbish in drawing, especially when instructed in class.
That's why she wasn't very good in Art class. She noticed a girl. She overheard her name in a conversation in the Great Hall.
Eonaria Kabukimono. Ruby was very interested in new people and was very irresistible, for no reason.
Nearly everyone except for a very paranoid Muggle girl accepted her friend requests and consequently smiled whenever she said "Hey, you're on my friend list, by the way!"
Ruby was a little halfway through the essay and notes she was writing. She leaned in closer to the girl she was sitting next to. "Hi, I'm Ruby."
