Noticing the reddened cheeks, Lamik Fillestar wondered if Elzabeth was feeling ok. The boy knew that when you got a fever your skin would often turn a redder colour, and the thought of it being anything even remotely romantic didn't even cross his mind. Deciding that she would excuse herself if she really did feel bad, he didn't press the matter. "I do seem fun, don't I?" Lamik said in an obviously joking tone. Even though the boy did his absolute best to not seem pretentious or narcissistic, he did find it fun joke around about it sometimes, pretending to think extremely good things about himself. He just hoped it would come across the way he intended it to- a joke.

With a sigh of relief at Elzabeths answer, Lamik nodded his head. "Yes. Helping others... That's what I was hoping that you guys did. It's what I want to do to." Even though the girl almost definitely had some form of bias on the topic, Lamik still took some comfort in her words- comfort that he hadn't felt when talking to James.
