Duel Beta Match 9 - Hugh vs. Nico Finished

The Round

Hjørdis smirked as the pair continued to duel. She watched their actions closely. It was interesting, to say the very least. Their choice of actions clearly portrayed what they were liking thinking or feeling at this moment. Hugh had been given a glimpse of hope, a chance at winning. He had only landed one proper hit on his opponent but perhaps that was enough. Nico wasted no time in retaliating. The two students now stood opposite each other, getting runny noses and started to feel a horrible cold coming.

She got him. She actually made him have the same horrible Curse as he gave her. And she'd make it even worse for him. Making a dhampir have a cold could not be forgiven, she thought. With a sly grin the girl aimed her wand at the tall Scott. However, he had an adventage... If she didn't knock him out quick, she'd pass out before him. No way she could let that happen.

'Incendio!'

The Round

Hjørdis sighed as she watched the match. It was literally going nowhere. The pair were trying their hardest but they were so well matched that they struggled to hit each other. She almost felt like just telling them to stop and calling it a draw. It seemed like the nicer option, rather than dragging the match out. 

But it appeared that their bodies gave up before Hjørdis did. The pair started to snot everywhere, the curse of bogies hitting them hard. They had been duelling for... a while. In pure exhaustion, the pair collapsed after so many attempts at casting. With a sigh, she stepped forward and quickly declared that the duel was over for any spectators. With that, she checked on both the students before having them sent to the hospital wing to rest.

Duel Results: Draw

Mod Note: Since there's been no moderation post here since September 2019, I'm going to close this as it's pretty much dead. I believe we are testing out a new rule, where if someone doesn't post within a week, they skip their turn / pass out automatically. However, since Nico's reply was 6 weeks after the mod post, which is well over the new one week rule that we tested out for the newer duels. If the duel continued another nine rounds (which is very likely with the way it's going), Nico would pass out and Hugh would win.

So, in the interest of fairness, I'm saying you both draw as there's no clear winner.
