Minnie was just about bored out of her mind. She didn't have much of anything to do, besides her homework, which she did not want to do. As the minutes ticked on, she decided that she would have to do her homework. Being bored was worse than doing homework in her mind. She didn't have any pranks she wanted to plan, any sketches she wanted to draw, or even any pets for her to groom. Lightning, her ferret, was looking immaculate as ever, and didn't really require her to brush her ferret's fur.
She had some potions homework, her least favorite. She had to give an essay on the uses of dittany in potions, and she had no idea. She hadn't exactly paid too much attention to the lecture, but this time it wasn't her fault! Her potion had been hissing strangely, and she found that that caused her to pay more attention to her potion than the lesson.
That meant Minnie had to go down to the library and figure out what the uses were for dittany. She wasn't thrilled with that, but at least it wasn't boring. As she walked towards the library, she was reminded of somebody else who loved school-like things. Kaitlyn, who had disappeared from Minnie's life. She had no idea why Kaitlyn had just gone missing, they had been dating! She had nearly forgotten about her now, having moved on to other crushes and thoughts.
Lost in her thoughts, she barely noticed she was at the library. So she reluctantly grabbed a book on dittany and set herself to work. After a few minutes of reading, she glanced up, trying to see if anyone else was in the library. She did love people watching. To her surprise, a girl was sitting not three tables away! Minnie knew that girl very well. It was Kaitlyn!
What am I going to say to her? I can't believe she's here, after being away from my life for so long! I guess I should just say hi to her. She supposed. She then got up from her table and walked over to Kaitlyn's, wondering what to say. In the end, she decided on a simple greeting. Minnie reached the table and shyly smiled at her. "Hello Kaitlyn, nice to see you again."
