You leave the package unopened. You do not recognize the sender but you know better than to open something that is unexpected. It is probably a prank of some sort - maybe the box would explode in a cloud of glitter, or release a stink bomb. Curiosity might gnaw at you, but not enough to do something stupid.

Oddly at dinner, the package is waiting for you in the Great Hall. It is not like they have assigned seating in the Great Hall. How did it?

𝓢he decided not to open it. Lyanna was smarter than that. Her friends would all undoubtedly have signed it if they were the senders, there was no reason for them not to. So instead of opening it and risking something chaotic or unexpected (in the bad way) happening, she left the package unopened on her bed, with the resolve of seeing if there were others who had received the same "gift". There must have been a meaning to it, which was what Lyanna had decided to find out upon arriving to dinner that day, as she hadn't had time before that.

Sitting down at the Hufflepuff table, Lyanna noticed a package waiting for her. The same package. Now it was certainly getting creepy, and the shocked girl felt even less desire to open it and see what was inside. "Qué-" "What-" How did it get there? How did it know where she was going to sit? Best investigate the situation first, in the situation Lyanna was in it was always better to think before acting.
