You rush through the halls, your stitched up friend (yes, the both of you are traveling) do not draw many stares because of the early hour. The halls are for the most part deserted, the few that are meandering about at this hour are either health nuts out for their morning work out or students seeking an early breakfast. Neither of which would be in the most direct path to the medical wing.
And the choice to go to the Hospital Wing was obvious, you are going to get help from the only person that has any idea what they are doing - @Bessie Barnes, the school nurse. You did nmot know the middle-aged lady very well, she was just the frumpy old witch that took over for @Dusana Sabo. You thankfully had little need for the nurse, nut you were about to make up for lost time now!
However, when you arrive in the Hospital wing, the space seems to permeate sterility with the faintest smell of burnt cloth. Nobody was there. No 'ailing' students, for good reason or otherwise. No interns scurrying about, and no nurse Barnes. The door was unlocked, the room simply empty.

After several long, dull minutes, a house elf pokes his head into the ward and asks what is the matter.
