Hot chocolate for you and me
This is the continuity of the thread The Flaura of the Hogwarts Grounds, with @Sylvie Maple. Feel free to read but do not reply! The girls entered the small hall, shivering as they left behind them a trail of water droplets that glimmered in the candle-light. The dim-lit room was rather cozy with its chimney emitting a nice and relieving warmth. Charlotte got closer to dry herself up a little and extended her hands in front of the marigold-coloured flames. They had settled to get some hot chocolate, but Charlotte didn't have the slightest idea as to where to find some. Sure, they could maybe go in the kitchens but who knows if the elves would let them in, let alone give them what they wanted? No, that could work.
Charlotte glanced down at her watch and her facial expression changed drastically.
'Sylvie! I just realised we're just in time for breakfast, perhaps we could find our long awaited hot chocolate don't you think?'
They walked down the small hall and pushed the big wooden doors that lead into the Great Hall. As always, Charlotte looked heavenwards in awe as she watched the bright blue sky and the uncountable amount of candles that floated in mid-air. The Hufflepuff table was on the far right, following the Slytherin table. She walked towards it and sat down on the bench, her back facing the wall. In front of them appeared all kinds of foods and drinks and of course two cups of hot chocolate waiting for the girls to grab.
Her shivering and ice-cold hand grabbed it and its temperature felt the nicest in this moment. Very few people were coming in and Charlotte noticed that only half a dozen of Hufflepuffs were sitting at the table, all at the far end of it. It was rather early, but the weekend had finally come, meaning they had the whole day to have fun.

Hot chocolate for you and me

"Breakfast, oh yeah! I completly forgot how early it was!" She said laughing at herself, and thinking that she was so stupid to have forgotten the time of day. She walked beside Charlotte as they made their to the Great Hall. Inside the ceiling was decorated with the many floating candles that lit up the room. A few Griffindors, Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs, and Slytherins were talking amongst themselves at their tables. Charlotte and Sylvie went over the the Hufflepuff table and sat down.'Sylvie! I just realised we're just in time for breakfast, perhaps we could find our long awaited hot chocolate don't you think?'
When the hot chocolate appeared, Sylvie immediatly grabbed it and took a sip. Her body was filled with warm tingly feelings and she felt a bit more at ease, even if she'd burned her tongue. The hot chocolate had marshmellows that were starting to melt from the heat of the drink. Even if it was almost summer and Sylvie usually had hot chocolate during the wintertime, it gave her the same feeling of coziness as she took sips. "Wow, this is really good!" She said, beaming. Finally, she realized that she'd been ignoring the delicious smelling food that was sitting in front of the two girls. Sylvie grabbed a crossant and took a bit, enjoying the buttery doughy and flakiness it had. "I wish I was able to cook well, everything here tastes so good~. I'm going to miss all this food over the summer." She took another sip of the hot chocolate.

Hot chocolate for you and me
Sylvie was right, and glancing at the hourglass furtively, she gasped in surprise. It was indeed pretty early. All kinds of food were displayed right before their eyes, making it hard to resist the straining temptation. Feeling her stomach twist in hunger, she reached for a cup of hot chocolate, steam evaporating, the warmth of it pleasantly reaching her face, before taking a bowl of porridge. The golden cutlery reflected the golden lights of the candles floating above them, and Charlotte picked up a spoon that she dipped in her bowl. Everything around her smelled to delicious that she was tempted to grab a serving of every food she could reach. She was no longer shaking due to the cold, but didn't feel warm yet. This feeling soon disappeared as she took her first sip of hot chocolate, feeling the almost burning liquid going down her throat as a warm feeling took over her.
"I wish I was able to cook well, everything here tastes so good~. I'm going to miss all this food over the summer."
Charlotte nodded as she chewed her porridge.
'You're very right. For once, I'm not all too excited for summer to come so abruptly...'
she said said in a whisper-like voice.
She cleared her throat and thought about her summer holidays. Before heading home to her beloved home, she was to spend a week at Summer Camp, but wasn't truly looking forward to it. Sure, she would probably meet some amazing people, have loads of fun, but camp was generally, not a very enjoyable time. Being with Sylvie, she couldn't help but notice that it felt just like hanging out with some old friends, this feeling of complicity and understanding in the air. Charlotte smiled and took a deep breath, knowing that in this moment she felt truly happy, not thinking about the train ride home, the next year, leaving all her friends for two whole months. No, better not think about all of this right now.
She held her cup between her hands as she looked around, noticing a few students coming in. At such an early hour, the slightest sound seemed loud and disturbing but Charlotte wasn't too keen on seeing the crowd of students getting in, one after the other. She looked at Sylvie and admired her breathtaking beauty, if she had told her she had Veela blood in her veins, she wouldn't be surprised at all. Her deep green eyes were enchanted-looking, her smile comforting, her long blond hair falling gracefully down her back - Sylvie was truly beautiful.
'What are you doing this summer Sylvie?'

Hot chocolate for you and me

'What are you doing this summer Sylvie?'"Oh, nothing much. I sleeping in, maybe hang out with some friends, who know. I don't really have any huge plans. The only trip I've know I'm going on is one to japan around the end of July. Besides that it's not going to be that eventful." She stared down into the cup of hot chocolate, watching the way the marshmellow melted into a white foam and covered the liquid's surface. She took a small spoon and swirled it around inside the cup, forming a wirlpool of brown and white. When she took out the spoon the contents of her cup continued to spin at the same rate as if moved by an invisible force, but eventually the spinning stopped.
"How about you Charlotte? What are you doing over the summer, well, besides going to the camp." If she was being honest, she was a bit jealous that Charlotte got to go to the camp. Sylvie had never really been to a summer camp (she'd mostly spent the summers exploring with her sister), let alone a magical one. It sounded fascinating. Maybe Charlotte would tell her about it after the summer? "Ugh, you don't think you guys are friends already, do you Sylvie? That would be plain stupid. You just met!" She looked back into her cup, a bit of disappointment in her eyes, but it wasn't that noticeable. She wanted to be friends with Charlotte, but friendship took time. Maybe they would become friends eventually. If they did, she could ask her about what the camp was like.
