The Slytherin Table 2017 - 2018
It was only after a good couple minutes, did the young Ms. Wynne come back with a very angry face, moving right back to the Ravenclaw table and sat down, showing a holding grudge against the Slytherin house when she returned when she glared their table down. Of course, possibly not very intimidating from a child at the age of eleven, but when Ms. Wynne gets grudgeful, it can become...
Dare we say, dangerous.
She was lucky enough to be able to find the hospital wing of the school and get her hair loss problem fixed at a moment's notice by a nurse there. While she was in there grateful for her hair problem fixed, she came out of the wing with a stifling heated grudge.
And when she returned back to the Great Hall, she already a cruel plan in mind for the Slytherin table, settling down at a seat at her house's table and with just the use of her chestnut wand, she flicked a simple first year spell. She mentally thanked the author Goshawk for creating such a spell book for her year and how she decided to read the book as soon as she and her father paid for her books.
It may have been a simple spell, but did it do the job well.
Levitation.
Yes, the spell was a good couple chapters in, but it was no matter for the young girl, eager to use the spell herself when she read the chapter on it.
Of course, with her being a first year, the spell wasn't going to be much grandness, but she only needed to get her point across to the Slytherin table and all it needed to do so was with one person.
And Ms. Wynne wasn't picky whatsoever.
The young girl didn't even bother to hide the fact that it was her pulling the spell, and shot her Levitation spell directly at anyone at the Slytherin table. Luckily, the Slytherin table was right next to the Ravenclaw table, and with great accuracy hit someone among the table with her spell, and without a care (with being at the age of eleven) she began swinging that poor person around as best as she could with the weight she was able to hold with her spell.
[It doesn't matter who, but currently, Helle is having the fun of a time throwing a poor Slytherin around with her spell, innocent or not. Your pick if you wish to be the victim or not, Slytherin.]

The Slytherin Table 2017 - 2018
Apparently the Hufflepuff would not have the chance to accept or decline Erin's invitation as her feet shot out from under her and she was lifted aloft. Well, not exactly lift as much as shot upward by her feet with a sudden intense force. Her ankles were over her head and with a reckless swing of her want or perhaps the caster's intent Erin was sent crashing into the Slytherin table. Through bowls of hot oatmeal and plates of sausage she ingloriously crashed, terminating someplace near the edge. Her spell was rough, the student heavy. Well, heavy for a novice caster at the very least.
She would stand up on the top of the table and brush a glob of scrambled eggs off her shoulder. One of her feet in her fellow Slytherin's bowl of cereal. Wet sock, sausage hair. She felt something uncomfortable in her thigh, it was the tines of a fork. She pulled out the fork and let it clatter on the table, some blood would trail down her leg, staining the bottom of her skirt.
This was the consequence of 'standing together.'
A self-righteous concept really. A projectile muffin sailed her way and bounced off her backside. The food fight was a partial success but was still far from a crescendo. She would shoot a glare in Marcus' direction but not say a thing. "You don't want to do this," Erin warned as she hopped off the table, her gaze fixed on the Ravenclaw.

The Slytherin Table 2017 - 2018
Tsukiko was shaking in her boots as she made her way through the crowd of people, just now being sorted into Slytherin. She had heard many things, good and bad, about them. She was shocked when the hat had shouted out Slytherin, so shocked that her mouth gaped open. She always considered herself to be a Ravenclaw, but she wouldn't dare question it. The hat has put her here for a reason.
Her yellow eyes scan the room, and she sees the Slytherin table. A handful of students are seated there, and it looked less intimidating at first. Then she realized the fight that was going on. Projectiles were flying, people were shouting, and the tension was hot and heavy. She felt like she could suffocate in it.
Turning away, she pretended to never even notice the table. She tried to walk slowly, but it turned into a fast run out of the Great Hall. If she were caught before making it to the dormitory, she would just say she was lost. She basically was lost, anyways. This place was massive and terrifying, and the people were intimidating.
Tsukiko wished for relief from her anxiety and shy personality, stumbling over her own feet as she headed toward the dormitory. She would just introduce herself to the other Slytherin students later, when things weren't... like this.

With magic and a dash of glitter, anything is possible.

The Slytherin Table 2017 - 2018
Eyes half-lidded and calculating, Dax quietly settled himself into a chair at the Slytherin Table, taking an empty spot away from the majority of students. Slytherin, huh? he thought to himself as he observed the comings and goings of students around the entirety of the Great Hall. He was pleased to have been been sorted into Slytherin. In his humble opinion, Slytherin was the only House that could value his potential. Though, he had already seen it coming, so the sorting didn't really take him by surprise. His being a Serpent was such a great honour. For them anyway. After being sorted into Slytherin, he knew two things for sure. First, he was starting a new journey with exciting new prospects on the horizon. The allies he could gain, the reputation he could build! Second, he was going to need to be cautious so as not to take a misstep in his first few days here. He needed to make friends with the right people. So, instead of indulging in the Meet and Greet session that Slytherin table had seemingly turned into for once, he decided to keep to himself and analyze everything before he started off his journey in the Cunning House.
Engrossed in the comings and goings, Dax noted that some of his housemates had already created flying scenes across the Great Hall. They had got quite a bit of nerve doing that in front of the professors - in fact the entire school - on the first day of the school year on top of that. It was embarrassing to see his fellow Serpents swaggering around like they owned the place. He could tell just by looking at them that they thought they were Salazar Slytherin all reborn. He din't feel particularly bad for the victims of this chaos, but he found it immature and uncivilized beyond measure. Finding the right people in his House wasn't going to be so easy, after all. "Merlin," he mumbled as soon as he finished his mental dismissal of them all, and tried to contain his gaze to a more sophisticated part of the Great Hall. The lot that seemed to concentrate on the intent of being here - having food. He didn't feel like eating, so he only picked up his goblet and took a couple of silent sips of the juice within.

The Slytherin Table 2017 - 2018
Approaching the table on quick feet Styder took his place at an empty spot on the bench. Slytherin..I'm a Slytherin.. His mind was racing with thoughts of his new house and what it would all be like. Briefly he cast a glance towards the Ravenclaw table, silently relieved he had not been chosen for his parent's house. What will mum and dad think..will they be mad? Biting at his lower lip Styder ducked his head, his hands clenching into fight fists under the table. He was too distracted in his own head to eat, much less converse with anyone.
He was hardly paying attention to what was going on around him. He had seen a spell be cast and heard a Hufflepuff wander over to speak. A poor decision on both parts really. Shaking his head he tried to snap out of his worries and be happy again. Styder was happy to be at Hogwarts he was honored to be able to attend this school. There was so much to learn and friends to make. Taking a slow deep breath he finally spoke up. "H-Hello.." There wasn't much confidence there but he was trying at least. Inwardly he cursed himself for stumbling through such a simple word, it was embarrassing.

Under the sorting hat, Valera felt all the teachers and students eyes on her, she ducked her head slightly to move her hair over her eyes, making her look like a ginger fluff ball in a robe. When the sorting hat called out Slytherin, she quickly placed the hat back and hurried to a place at the table near the front.
Once at the table, she resumed her previous position, looking down as to not make contact with the other students. She instead looked around the room, utterly amazed by the different decorations hanging seemingly in mid air, though she knew it was only a spell. Brushing her hair over her face again, Valera peeked around at the other students, wondering which others were first years like her.

Nadea grinned when her house was announced. Her sister and brother were in Ravenclaw and Gryffindor respectively. Which meant Nadea, much to her preference, was in her very own house. She walked over quite quickly and there was a loud, clumsy shaky of the entire table as she threw herself into a seat.
"Hey everybody!" Nadea grinned and then continued to glance at the next few students to get chosen for their houses. She propped her chubby cheek on her upright palm and looked at everyone and then back out. The young girl didn't have a care in the world for the kids around her. She was just excited to start and finally get good at magic.

The Slytherin Table 2017 - 2018
Slytherin. Shye had been placed in Slytherin. Luella felt anger swelling up inside of her as she sat frozen, unmoving from the stool she had been sorted on. The world around her was silent and slow, and she stared seated for what felt like ages. Lost in her thoughts, Luella couldn't help but think that perhaps this was some punishment the hat had enacted on her, or a cruel joke. Being Muggle-born, Luella had little knowledge of Hogwarts besides what she read from Hogwarts: A History on the train. From what she could gather, Slytherin were the brooding types. The bitter and the prejudiced.
Slowly, her senses seemed to fade back, and she was suddenly aware of a hand on her back and a voice in her ear telling her to get up. Shaking her head, she jerked back to face this person, staring into their eyes as she herself began to tear up. As she slowly removed herself from the stool, she watched about the Hall, making a shallow effort to walk over to the Slytherin table. Luella seemed to change her mind as she approached the table, looking back at the crowd of people being sorted and then to the massive doorway she had came from. She took off towards it, pushing Nadea Jarrah's head towards the table as she speed-walked past her.
Luella sat just outside the doorway, seeing as how she actually had no real clue where to go next, and she didn't actually want to be labeled as rule-breaker anyways. She wiped her tears with her sleeves. Surely the hat had made a mistake, right? Sure, her natural reaction to the situation did involve trying to push another student's head into a table, but she had always been a bit hot-headed! She expected to find nobody nice within her own house, and began to feel a bit bad about pushing Nadea. Luella decided to apologize later, if she had the chance. Until then, she would wait for the Great Hall to empty out and hope that nobody would see her as she melded with the crowd. Actually, she rather regretted her impulsive exit, her stomach growling. Oh well.

The Slytherin Table 2017 - 2018
(OOC: Ooof this is so late and short! Sorry!)
At the Slytherin table, the ash haired female had recently sat, with her back to the table, by Nadea Jarrah, seeing that this could have been someone who she might have been able to make good friends with someone who seemed to be seemed to be just as extroverted as her. Turning her head to the other female, she closed her blue hues and smiled, "Hello!" Ciara said cheerfully before adding, "My name is Ciara O'Conner," she introduced, "It's really nice to meet you!"
When Luella Deighton came by and pushed Nadea's head towards the table before running off, instead of staying and making sure Nadea was okay or what not, impulse kicked into the girl, and she took off after Luella. No she wasn't going to yell at or hit the girl, unless she was provoked to do so, for doing something like that. The brunette was curious on why she did such a thing in the first place. Plus, Ciara had thought in the brief moments she saw the girl's face that she had seen her eyes starting to tear up. In a way, she was killing two birds with one stone, so it was better for her not to stay with Nadea.
She followed the Muggle-born to the doorway of the Great Hall, "Hey!" she exclaimed before noticing the girl was indeed crying, "Are you alright? Is something the matter?" Ciara questioned, concern laced in her voice, for the Half-blood didn't really like when she saw anyone cry. Of course, that's why she got into a good bit of arguments, and trouble, with some bullies when she was a bit younger. Well that combined with her hotheaded self.

The Slytherin Table 2017 - 2018
Luella was so lost in her thoughts that she barely noticed the girl standing next to her. She wiped her tears and took a deep breath, staying still for just a moment as she gathered the courage to face her. Luella was surprised to see another student, and not a professor like she had expected. She waved her arms a bit, her mouth moving like she was trying to say something but couldn't quite find the words.
"No! Why would anything be the matter, the hat has only gone and..." She stopped herself, climbing up onto her feet. She was just a bit shorter than the other girl, and could easily meet her gaze. Luella glared at her with still-wet eyes, and opened her mouth to speak again.
"What's it to you anyway, Slytherin?" Her voice was shaky, and she reached into her robe, feeling around for something. "Come to gloat?" She stepped away as she hissed that last word, pulling out her wand and pointing it at the girl's head. She didn't actually know any offensive magic of course, but she hoped the gesture would be enough to scare the Slytherin off. Luella stood still for a moment, tears once more welling up in her eyes.
