So I just looked over your ency and character description. One thing I find useful is to take into consideration Colin's "likes and dislikes". Since you've got some listed in your ency already, you're a step ahead!

This might be an interesting exercise:

Put yourself into your character. So, next time you open your eyes, it'll actually be opening Agnes's eyes. Have her look around the common room. There's fellow Purebloods. There's Mudbl--- I mean! Muggleborns! There's kids that dress formal and those that don't.

Taking a look at things Agnes likes --- floofy dresses and fashion --- I would suspect that she might look down on someone like Colin who basically wears the same simple clothing every day. Here's a Pureblood who doesn't dress to social expectations. How might a girl who finds those things important react?

If you were to write a thread in the common room with someone else like Kait, you could still notice Colin and write her thoughts about him. How often would she roll her eyes or huff in disdain every time she notices his mismatched buttons and his patched and worn out old kilt? And why isn't he wearing proper shoes and socks! And why is he sprawled out on the floor like a dog!? Oh the horror!

You can do a lot with limited vocabulary! Mostly it comes down to knowing your character and using those few words to express what she thinks about something.

What was that about Muggle-borns, McCoire??
