The Lonely Dance
I've been wandering around exploring Hogwarts for a while now trying to know where everything is and what leads where. It's been pretty easy so far as I have a photographic memory. Well sort of, it's hard to explain but I can visualize stuff in my mind really easy but i have to concentrate to remember things with words on it, like read it through once or twice and then I can always remember what I just learned. So far I've drawn out a map coloring coding it and other little details. I love map making, my twin and I used to do it all the time together, we still did before we had to separate to different houses at Hogwarts. I continue down a hallway I haven't explored yet and find an empty room. Its a ballroom! Its gorgeous with the twinkling chandeliers overhead and the decorations. The floor is smooth and shiny and the walls are just gorgeous. I imagine it filled with people laughing and dancing together. I can almost hear the music and my body just starts to sway on it own to the imaginary beat only I can hear. Before I know it I'm twirling around and singing. Suddenly I hear footsteps behind me and I whirl around to face them.

The Lonely Dance
I have consulted with Zoe ooc, and anything I say she does is fare game as we have priorly discussed it.
Interacting with: @ZoeLaren
There she was, dancing by herself, in the middle of a wide ballroom. It was a peaceful thing, her red hair flouncing around her as she twirled to a silent tune.
"Care to dance?" My voice echoed throughout the empty space, surprising both of us.
"But of course peasant, and who might you be?"
"But a lowly peasant Madame, as you said."
Me and Zoe had started a tradition where she referred to me as peasant and I called her Madame.
We danced for a while smiling at each other, seeing who would laugh first. So there we were, dancing in our robes of a random Saturday, unable to speak how much we missed each other.
"You would have done well in Gryffindor, it is far more your style."
"Obviously. You would fit in quite well with the Hufflepuffs." Her voice was edging on bitter.
"I dunno, I think I'm just lucky to have been accepted. Oh, on a random note, do you suppose I could see your copy of the Hogwarts map? Colour coded I presume."
She gasps in mock astonishment, "How did you know?!"
I take on my fake seer voice, "I am, in fact, NOT a peasant, but a seer here to stop you from doing something thou whilst regret!"
"Oh dear! Now what might that be???"
"Oh, I don't know, being bitter about something you can't control, going completely reclusive and not talking to your house mates about ANYTHING. Y'know, they most likely don't even know your name."
"Too true, too true. I guess I'll go branch out, be happy go lucky and spew out rainbows and sprinkles."
At that I raised my eyebrows and we burst out in giggles, "Okay, that's a bit dramatic, how 'bout instead we take a walk and you tell me what's so horrid about kind people."
