[quote]Alan glared at his professor, who was just so rude. He usually was able to keep cal and ignore everything thrown his way, but he just could not help but feel insulted on a personal level. Professors were supposed to help and support them so why would this professor do the exact opposite of what she was supposed to do in a situation like that.

”Mentally I am completely fine, Miss”, he said, stressing the “I” just ever so slightly, but the 'are you?' stood in the room and Alan could not believe how mean this professor had to be. He would, if he could just not go to her class at all, but then he would get into trouble... maybe it was worth it, if it meant he had not to go to her class again? Ever? He huffed and shook his head. ”Does it matter what your name is, professor? You cannot remember mine either”, he replied, crossing his arms in from of his chest in defiance.

Was it really Alan, who was to blame for his behaviour? Alan could not blame himself, as the professor was the reason, that he now felt even more awful. He did not need her to fly and he was not gonna just let her laugh at his weakness... he was a Gryffindor! He could learn to fly a broom on his own just fine!

The boy gave her a look of such emotion that Olphie could not help but yelp, thrilled. "There!" She shrieked, making just as dynamic of a reaction as the boy, though her reaction was that of pure excitement rather than intense hatred. "That's what you need to channel when you ride your broom! Now get on there, if you are so mentally fine, and prove it to me! I bet you could knock someone out with the passion you are showing me right now!"

She muttered for a moment: "I don't like Flying...I knew it wasn't true! You can't fool me, boy!"

Olphie's eyes sparkled; finally this all made sense. The boy was just trying to impress her, trying to show her that he wanted to be the star Quidditch player she had always hoped for. And then, when she did not understand, he was disappointed! No wonder he didn't want to admit what her name was; this was him rebelling. Every child rebelled against his school mum every so often.

"Now now, since we seem to have gotten over our fears, let's do a practice fly, okay? I'll to tell your Quidditch captain that you'd be an excellent candidate, with what I see here! And, dear, my name is Professor Bercegeay...but I understand, today has been a lot of...emotions."

She once again gave Alien a large smile, and even though it was unlikely that he would want to fly (though she was too dumb to realize that herself), she certainly wasn't going to take no for an answer.

Alan looked at her and he actually felt some kind of feeling rising inside of him, he was getting mad at her, for being so ridiculous. How did she get to become a professor for them? That made no sense! "I won't need your help to learn how to fly, sure you can teach theory but flying? There is more to teaching qualities than just being able to do something-", he shook his head and crossed his arms in front of his chest, glaring at he professor.

He would still have to appear for her class, sure, or at least enough times so that his O, or at least an E was safe for this subject, but he would never do more than required. Not if his teacher was such a.... such a witch; in the most metaphorical way he could think about. This idiom seemed weird to him usually, because why would muggles think of them like that. But maybe one of them had once met a witch that was exactly like his Flying professor and just assumed all of them were like that one witch. His mind was getting lost in thoughts again, as it did so often, so he just raised his head with a huff and stared her in the eye.

"If you can prove to me that your flying lessons are worth my time, maybe I will think about it", he said and left the pitch. Only a few seconds later it dawned on him what he just said and he bit his lips. That person was still his professor, how could he have said something so rude? Then again, all he said was not wrong, as she was not acting the way a professor should. Maybe he should consult his parents about this? A sigh escaped him as he shoved his hands into the pockets of his hoodie, as he made his way to lunch.

She hadn't expected to receive such hate, and Olphie could only blink in response to the child in front of her as he glared after his utterances. She had been hired, hadn't she? Certainly the boy was mistaken in his assumptions, unaware of just how much potential the headmaster had seen in her. To Olphie, this only added support to her thought that the boy had some sort of serious brain injury. At this point, though, she was uncertain if it was worth dragging him to the hospital wing. He looked as though he would bite her head off with his level of disgust.

She had thought that her question had been nice enough, especially given the icy response the damaged boy had given her, but he seemed to think otherwise. Again, Olphie presumed that the boy had a far worse injury than she could have guessed, because she hadn't even been a professor long enough for him to think such horrible, blasphemous things! She blinked again, wondering just what was wrong with this child?

As he sighed and walked away, Olphie continued to blink in one of her few moments of pure shock. She hadn't changed a life today, and she was, quite frankly, shocked at the behavior of some of the Hogwarts students. Hopefully not all of them were this horrific, or else she might have to beg the Harpies to take her back. But for now, all she knew was that she needed to avoid Alien Vanity and his angry self, at least until he got a reality check.
