Spring had blessed Hogwarts with its first week of good weather all year. With temperatures finally above freezing and trees in blossom, Theodore was eager to get out of class and spend time in the grounds. He had been finding his studies extra frustrating as of late and found himself staring out of windows instead of paying attention. One particularly sunny afternoon, he waited outside the second year Herbology greenhouse in ambush. When the class was dismissed and students came pouring out, Theo grabbed the back of Alejandro’s collar and pulled him to one side. Theo had the look of mischief on his face, he gave Alejandro a determined smile as he pulled a piece of parchment out of his pocket and started waving it in front of him. The boy was filled with so much energy he skipped pleasantries and got straight to the point. “I’ve decided I cannot wait until next year to visit Honeydukes. It just isn’t right that we aren’t allowed to travel to Hogsmeade.” He looked down at his piece of parchment and stopped waving it around so Alejandro could read it. “I’ve acquired a forged permission slip.” Theo stated. The document looked authentic enough, with a forged signature and information that described the boy as being born a year earlier in 2011. “It’s not perfect, but it doesn’t have to be. I’ll trail behind some other third years as they are having their forms checked. As long as it’s not the head of Gryffindor house checking the forms, I should be able to fool them into thinking I’m a third year. Then bam! Right on to the sweet shop!” Theo said looking excited. “I want you to come with me. We can easily get a fake form for you as well! What do you say?” The boy said looking expectantly over at Alejandro. There were two things that got Theo this giddy and amped up, one of them was duelling and the other was troublemaking. His excitement was informed by the latter.
