Book Recommendations for a True Ravenclaw

I don't read a ton but one trilogy that I really enjoyed is The Immortals of Meluha by Amish Tripathi. It's inspired by Hindu mythology, based on Shiva.

Everything sad is untrue by Daniel Nayeri.

The Once upon a broken heart Trilogy.
The wing feather saga
The Riordan verse (Percy Jackson Heroes of Olympus, the trials of Apollo, that Kane Chronicles, Magnus chase etc.)
In short, we could be here forever.

One book that I really really like is The Secret Adversary by Agatha Christie. Amazing storyline, I love it.

And because it's Mahlioz's favorite series, I must include the five Aru Shah books (they're very good)
Not putting more than three so I don't drown myself in book recs :]

Ahh I've been expecting this
Here's a few that I really like (and that I thought of-)
- the Kite Runner
- Little Women
- the Lord of the Rings (and the Hobbit)
- the Giver
- the Count of Monte Cristo

I have two sets of suggestions. One is - know your classics, they are classics for a reason. While many classes make books as dull as possible, read the book with intention and you might be astonished at how interesting (even if the pacing is not perfect) many of these books are. Link to a resource site, while I do think some are not interesting, this is good exposure to many of the classics.

The other recommendations is to look at banned books. Even books I disagree with offer unique perspective. There is often a political or marginalized perspective. While your perspective might not align, seeing things from a new angle can be beneficial. Link, I have personally read many of these books.

I'm a big fan of the original Sherlock Holmes books.
