Lives with her mother, father, three cats, and little brother, Caldon, fondly referred to as 'Cal'.
Mother: Maternity nurse. Witch, from Hufflepuff house. Helped deliver Kairilia's cousins, Easton and Ella. A kind woman.
Father: Game shop owner. A muggle. A huge fan of d&d (dungeons and dragons). A happy, loud man.
Caldon: A boisterous little dude. A troublemaker who loves his big sister more than life.
Kairilia grew up in a moderately sized house and enjoyed being able to play with the neighbor kids, though she didn't like most of them. Kairilia has big dreams to become an author or professor at a prestigious school. Perhaps both. She grew up in a loving home where she always felt heard. She was taught at an early age that all people are valuable and equal and to never treat anyone lesser. Her mother was a kind woman from Hufflepuff house. Her father was a tall, quick to laugh man who didn't care that her mom was a witch, even delighted that she was. Her brother, Caldon, was two years younger than her and already a menace, but she loved him for it. When both their parents had to be at work they would play games together and, somehow, Caldon would always win. Even when Kairilia was actually trying to beat him. She was best friends with their cousins, Ella and Easton, for they were the same age as her.

Kairilia's was when she was eight.
*Let's get some scenery*
The year was a year and Kairilia was eight, her little brother Caldon six. They were playing in a field because their family was on a picnic. Their parents were talking of grown up stuff and the children had wandered away. They happened upon a snake, as most children end up doing at some point or other. Now, one of Caldon's greatest fears was snakes and Kairilia knew this. And somehow she accidentally (without toughing the snake) legit yeeted that snake away with sheer desperation, and shock (as well as a well placed flailing because she almost tripped, clumsy girl she was). Animal cruelty was only allowed when protecting your brother from snakes (no matter how small they are).
