Damion kind of froze, unsure what to do. His vision being obscured was interfering with things. He wished that he had his team with him so someone would remove the blindfold from his eyes but that was not possible since he was the only Ravenclaw standing. He clutched the wand in his hand and took a deep breath.

Aiming curses at a blindfolded opponent was perhaps not the most honorable move, but it was a strategic one. Bridget saw no reason to draw this out, and tough as Damion was proving to be, he was left by himself against three of the school's oldest and most skilled duellists. As much as she cautioned against overconfidence in herself and when she'd been a captain, she was sure it was too late for even luck to turn the tides of this one.

Slytherin v Ravenclaw, Match 1
Once more tapping into explosive spellwork, it was clear that the Vipers were on a complete campaign against peace upon the piste. The vague dishonour, if not complete advantage, of attacking a blindfolded, nearly incapacitated opponent through a mutual smokescreen of cover evidently suited their team strategy well. Astrea’s own Confringo, formed in fog as it always seemed to be against Ravenclaw, had shot off with enough violent fervour to light up in vague flashes of searching light, yet their impressive opponent could but take the blows bodily.
Why else did defensive spells not strike back out through the fog? There was no shift of motion to scarcely discern, no moderator commentary to mark the occasion. If simple intimidation or a last-minute play at trickery had possessed their lone opponent, Astrea could not tell. Did it matter, when skilful efficiency had pulled Slytherin so far into advantage? The clean, inevitable end loomed over them all— Lacking retaliation and ringing silence after the storm would only make their job easier.

Slytherin v Ravenclaw, Match 1
Honestly, this was mildly disappointing. Their last opponent standing didn't even do anything to try to fight back? Her teammates were still shrouded in fog and couldn't see that he didn't even remove the blindfold, but she could see clearly. She had no problem with winning, obviously—she loved it and would expect nothing less from herself—but it was a little boring to have an unresponsive opponent. What was the difference between that and just fighting a practice dummy? Well, if he wasn't going to respond and wasn't going to forfeit either, she supposed it was past time to end this.Doing as strategized

Three incantations of Flipendo rang out from between the two teams even as a Reparifors that was masterfully amplified by Astrea worked to heal the wounds she and Ruby had suffered only moderately over the course of the event.
Blindfolded, Damion's Hail Mary Flipendo honed in on Ruby, but the Slytherin seventh year saw it coming from a mile away and easily side-stepped it, retaliating with her own with Bridget's alongside. Both of these side-swiped Damion, flooring him almost instantaneously as the last vestiges of the Nebulus spell finally lifted up and away to reveal the all-female Slytherin team in very pristine condition indeed--besides Ruby, of course, who still had a nasty cut on her arm from Cassius' send-off.
Piérre whistled lightly, clapping his hands politely. "A team wipe! Hardly see many of those at this level." Well, team-wipes tended to happen very little at all for that matter, especially in the three-person format that was the new standard. It took quite a bit of teamwork to accomplish such a feat, usually. "I think it can be safely said that Slytherin earned their crown in this duel. Good work, and go reward yourselves with something you enjoy, hey?" The corners of his eyes creased slightly in amusement and quiet admiration before he turned away to help the recovery team with Damion, who would wake up in the Wing with his other two teammates... eventually.
"That's the duel! Go and get popcorn or something for the second series of matches! Go! Scat!" Piérre shooed the crowd away from the piste with a broad grin, allowing the second group to come in and make ready for their own showing. Figaro leapt up on his shoulders, the boy stepped into the crowd...
And vanished.
