Elizabeth stepped into the classroom and ducked under a desk, settling down. Ever since she'd received the letter from her grandparents the day before, she had been pondering over what to do. Finally, she had made up her mind and had immediately come here.

"I'll do what gram and gramps told me to do. Pursue the good things that interest me the most." She said out loud. "And if that doesn't work, I'll have to ask someone else for advice." Then, she scooted out from under the desk.

Walking to the blackboard, she decided that she'd write something simple. Carefully, with big strokes, she wrote the words Elizabeth's Favorite Classroom. Stepping back, she smiled serenely at her handiwork. This was indeed her favorite classroom, even if she was not yet old enough to take the subject.

Perching on the desk nearest her, she looked over the room. Now that she was properly looking, she wished that she hadn't caused mischief earlier that year. However, even wishing wouldn't change what had already happened. She would just have to look forward and accept what had happened in the past.

I'm glad that gram and gramps gave me that advice. I'm positive that it'll help me. She thought to herself and slid off the desk, keeping her hands gripped on the edge.

Kaitlyn skipped up the stairs to the Divination Tower. Ever since she started at Hogwarts, she was curious about the different classes she could end up taking. As she was in her second year, she was aware of the different base classes to take. Yet, she knew that she’d have decisions to make very soon. Third years were allowed to take even more courses. One of which was Divination. She was aware of its connection to the muggle world, for there were Divination practices muggles could complete. Yet, that information didn’t give her much background. After all, this was a school of magic. As such, Magic had to be involved somehow.

Plus, Kaitlyn’s interest was piqued. During her regular chats with her new friend from Ilvermorny, Devon, the other girl, mentioned some of the Divination programs they had at her school. Xylomancy sounded weird but interesting. Devon even walked her through a tea reading, which felt weird between their phones. Yet, it was also uniquely special between them. Devon even showed Kaitlyn a few pages from her brother’s notes on Ancient Runes and Arithmancy.

Upon entering the Divination classroom, Kaitlyn spotted a girl about her age. There were also words written on the classroom chalkboard. She tilted her head to the side, then looked over at the girl. “Hi,” she greeted her shyly. “What’s going on?” She asked, unsure of what was happening.
