Oliver had just arrived into Hogwarts. A stream of students were flowing in through the main doors into the building. Oliver walked alone, he had looked around for Erin but she had other friends. He tried to blend in, embarrassed seeing lower years with more friends than him. He was betting on having more friends by next year, he was going to really push himself socially. He'd even stick up for himself next time a bully comes along!

The crowd stopped moving. Oliver nearly bumped into someone as the blockage formed. He couldn't see what the hold up was, he was too short and the older kids around him were too tall. Complaints starting mumbling through the students voices. It all seemed to be at the door into the main hall though. The queue begun to build up and soon the small hall was filled with students and even more students were waiting outside the entrance to Hogwarts. Oliver looked around, he couldn't even see a tall third year close by. Further inspection of the nearby crowd revealed that the tall, red haired second year Quinn was close by. Oliver could just see his head sticking out, yet he was still too faraway. He also remembered not being capable of understanding the Irish kid so it wasn't much of a loss.

Oh, God no

NOT NOW

Oliver clenched his butt cheeks. It was too late. This was it. This was the owl killer. It was the same hair sizzling sensation as that horrible first day. Exactly two years from the day he accidentally killed his pet owl, Oliver was forming another. He whimpered as it left, eyes watering, the lava air unbearable to have against his skin.
This was no toot. This was not even a poot. This... was a shoot.

In an instant, every student Oliver could see was holding their nose. Some small kids were trying to lift themselves up, gasping for air. It was like the chaos that pursues after hitting a bee hive. It was the most rank, most disgusting and vile smell, and it was filling the entire small hall. Oliver could even hear a small second year crying in the crowd. It wasn't leaving, this fart was stuck to the floor, it was staying for awhile.

Oliver looked around, he looked at the eyes of all the students in pain. He looked at the kids holding their pet rats in the air above their heads, trying to get them to safety. He turned full circle, taking in all the crowd.

Kyle woke up with a slight groan as the train came to a stop. he rubbed his face and ruffled his hair some as he rose to his feet. His neck was stiff and he was irritable. With all the people that piled into his compartment it had been impossible to sleep and sleep was something that he got very rarely to begin with these days. As he stepped off the train he gave his cousin a half hug and assured her that he would be fine if she went off to talk to some of her house mates that she had missed over the summer break. He slipped his hands into his jean pockets and wished he could remember where he left his leather jacket the previous year. he wouldn't be surprised if he caught a pair of house elves try to sneak around on each others shoulders wearing the jacket. maybe even with a fake mustache.

Kyle was chuckling at his own mental image when he noticed some short chubby kid just stop suddenly in front of him. with a slight groan Kyle shook his head and began to speak but stopped as he heard a wet sound come from the boy and his nose began to burn from the heinous smell that emanated from him. Even if Kyle's nose wasnt especially sensitive this would smell like death but as it was it took all of his will power to not just start to dry heave on the spot. what the hell was this guys problem?

Kyle stepped forward and shoved the fat student so he would stop just standing there with a dumb look on his face. "Quit standing there and enjoying the smell and find a wash room! the hell is wrong with you?" Kyle was already not in the best of moods and this just managed to push the right button to tip him from annoyed to pissed off. he pushed the guys shoulder another time. "You waiting for applause shite pants? bugger off!"

Oliver was looking around, frozen in fear as he calculated how to get away from this situation. He didn't notice but some kids were beginning to realise Oliver was the only one around not affected by the smell. He was about to try slip back outside from where he came, but before he could, a shove caught him off guard and nearly knocked him off balance.

"Quit standing there and enjoying the smell and find a wash room! the hell is wrong with you?"

Oliver turned with brows furrowed. What the heck! He was already more in shock and scared at this point. He looked around at all the kids beginning to turn towards them. There was no where to hurry off to, it was too tight of a crowd. The claustrophobic feeling was already beginning to set in.

"You waiting for applause shite pants? bugger off!"

Oliver received another shove. This one he was more prepared for, not going back much. It was more his weight that kept him on his feet rather than his strength or balance. Oliver never even saw this kid, he seemed young and a bit scruffy. He was no sweet sight that was for sure.
Oliver looked at Kyle right in the eyes. He took in all that anger being projected towards him and he exhaled as he accepted the challenge being placed before him. His chest begun to expand faster as he prepared himself.
"It wasn't me, jerk!" Oliver screeched, his voice losing any puberty it had gained over the last year. With that, Oliver decided to defend himself for the first time ever. He reeled back his chubby fist and threw it right at Kyle's face. The kid was taller than him but this novice haymaker would have to do. His whole weight followed his knuckles as he roared, throwing it at the Gryffindor with all his might.
I'm not getting bullied ever again!

Kyle could tell by the way the fat kid turned around, brows furrowed and hands clenching that he was not going to shuffle off meekly in shame like Kyle had initially assumed he would. What Kyle certainly didn't expect was the kid shrieking at him and throwing a wild punch. As such he had been woefully unprepared, with one hand still in his pocket and the punch caught him square on the chin and he took a single step back from the blow.

Despite the summer he had, despite the awful train ride, despite the horrid smell. Kyle just became more happy than he could really put words into. Adrenalin began to pump through his veins and he could feel a fire beginning to build up in his belly. He hadn't had a chance to blow off steam, to REALLY blow off steam in a long time. It had been too long since his last real fight. And it was time to put his boxing training to the test.

A dark smile came to Kyle's face as he furrowed his brow. he spaced his feet apart, his left one leading as he closed his hands into tight fists and rose both of them up, his left hand leading with his right hand resting near his jaw as he took his boxer stance. "Wrong move Langer" then Kyle cocked back his right shoulder and threw a hook, twisting his hips and pivoting on his back foot to put as much power behind it as he could.

Illowy kept as close to her cousin as possible as the students were shuffled through the main doors, though it was slow and steady work considering how large the student body was. Somehow, the castle didn't seem nearly as large as it had been the year before when they'd rowed all the first years over the Great Lake, allowing them to take in the school's massive gory against a starry sky.

This was hardly as glorious as before, but at least they were back at school. The girl's mind swirled for a moment before the mindless chatter of the students around her was suddenly silenced by someone's sudden loss of bodily control. Illowy looked to her cousin as though for comfrimation that what she had just heard and smelled wasn't in her head. However the look in his face said it all as he called a poor boy out for it.

It was like watching the first domino in a chain fall over as the pudgy boy snapped, whipping around and throwing the first punch. The girl's hands flew to her mouth, watching Ky fall back a step, a smug smirk crawling onto his features, "Ky, c'mon... don't do it..." she spoke, her tone almost warning. The snake knew better though; the glint in his eyes, the way he shifted his weight on his feet...

This certainly wasn't the first fight she'd ever seen Kyle get himself into, and she knew it wasn't going to be the last as the boy's fist flew.

I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

Returning back to Hogwarts was exciting for Millie, to say the least. She was ready to get back to seeing her friends everyday, and just being in the magical world again. Not to say her parents weren't magical- they just preferred the muggle way of things. Which was boring.

This year, though, Millie would be returning via horse carriages. She was excited to meet all the new first years, and hopefully help them out along the way. This year held new opportunities and excitement, even if the first day seemed a little bit rough. Hogwarts was home, though.

After being lost in her thoughts once again, Millie was rather rudely snapped back to reality by the most putrid smell ever. She grabbed her robes and pulled them up and over her nose, and she could faintly smell her mothers laundry detergent. More curious as to what caused the smell, she looked around the hall.

She hadn't expected to find anything, but when she saw Kyle DeRook arguing and fighting with a rather chubby boy, it was really easy to tell nothing good would come from this. She shuffled her way over to Illowy, and whispered "What do we do?"

The first thought was to just get them away from each other- magically rather than physically. She racked her brain for a few simple spells she had learned the year prior- but she was rather focused on the fighting going on.

Evasive Maneuvers: FAILED!
Oliver's HP: 1050/1200

Oliver felt he was getting somewhere as his opponent went backwards, even if it was just a single step. He reeled back another fist, confident he could punch this kid unconscious. He was pumping with courage and a wild roar of an engine was surging through him. Oliver's heart was beating so loud it could almost be heard by Kyle.

Then he started to doubt himself. His opponent was winding up a retaliation and Oliver was facing him head on. He tried to move away but he was too slow. His eyes followed the fist with a face of horror as it flew towards him. It knocked him right on the jaw, Oliver was immediately thrown off balance and he spun on his heel. As he spun, Oliver closed his eyes. He burrowed deep into what made could give him power. He searched for it far and wide inside his lonely existence.

Captain Redhot!

Oliver gave a small smile as he remembered reading the comics for his favorite action hero. It was muggle fiction, sure, but he loved the intense fights drawn in the pages. It was also aimed at much younger children but Oliver envisioned the fights in a much more brutal setting.
He wrapped himself in the imaginary spandex of Captain Redhot and just as he made a 360 degree spin, with a very painful jaw, Oliver leaped up.

"HYIIAHHHH!"

Oliver did a small, pathetic jump up and placed his hands side by side. He gave a double hammer fist down on Kyle's head, his left arm so weak that it bounced off of Kyle, inflicting zero pain. His right hand, although a goofy strike, delivered a stronger whack. He was getting his confidence back!

With all this commotion, Oliver didn't absorb in any of the females for a second. He was too focused on Kyle to see anything else, for now.

Kyle’s HP: 900/1000

As soon as Kyle felt knuckles meet skin his Adrenaline began to increase. Being punched wasn’t a fight, and even retaliating with a punch of your own wasn’t truly a fight either if that’s where it ended. Both sides needed to be able to take as much as they dished out, sometimes even more. So when Kyle saw that his punch didn’t knock the far kid out straight away he grew hopeful that this was going to turn into a real fight. Maybe the fat kid was more than he appeared.

And then came the loud and exaggerated squeal, the goofy look on his face and the, frankly, embarrassing mini jump. Kyle was so distracted by the absurdity of it all that he didn’t even try to block or move out of the way and he was struck over the head with a weird double fisted strike. Once it connected Kyle was brought back to reality though and he moved with the downward motion, turned to dip his shoulder lower as he turned his fist then Kyle rose putting his whole body behind a powerful right handed upper cut that he aimed to place right under the chin of who ever the hell this smelly loud kid was.

Illowy looked over her shoulder as Millie pipped up, and instinctively the girl put an am out as though to keep the other back behind her and protected, "Jus' keep back. Trust me, when Kyle get's goin', there's not much use tryin' t'get in his way." she warned, "These two'll bulldoze over you without a thought."

Illowy flinched a bit when she heard Kyle's punch land, drawing her attention back to the fight as the chubby kid, who's name still evaded her, retaliated with... admittedly the strangest looking attack she'd ever bared witness to. It seemed just as baffling to her cousin as he took the hits.

Ever faithful was Kyle's ability not to be stunned for long as he bounced back with his own uppercut, "Kyle, you're goin'to hurt him!" she called from the sidelines, pale eyes flickering back and forth between the pair, praying a teacher didn't come upon the ruckus. This was hardly how Illowy wanted to start off their second year at school; but what in the world was she suppose to do about it? Blast the pair apart? Hardly practical with the tight quarters.

She was waiting. Waiting for someone to hesitate, for someone to tire... for any opening where she could insert herself to try to get Kyle to back off. The snake was hardly worried about the other boy, having little faith that he'd really hurt Kyle for too long. She was more worried about Kyle getting carried away and letting this stupid squabble go even further then it already had.

I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

Do nothing?! That thought was torturous. There was nothing more in the world that Millie hated. She gave Illowy an exasperated look, shaking her head.

"And if one of them gets hurt?" She asked. "It's the first day back we can't let anybody get into a blood-grueling fight!"

She instinctively threw her hand into her robes pocket. She felt around the pockets, feeling her red and purple handkerchief, a zip lock bag with some cat treats in it, and then feeling the thing she actually needed. In an instant, she pulled out her light pink colored wand.

At first, she just felt more confident with her wand in hand- but she had to be able to do something with it! There was nothing that came to mind. How would she be able to stop two fighting students with just one wand? She was definitely tall for her age, but these two students were taller and stronger.

Where was her brain when she needed it? There had to have been one spell to get the two away from each other, but, which one? There were hexes and jinxes she could use- but none would really work well. And there was the pondering thought that the spell would wear off and Millie was going to die.

And then the idea struck her like gold! She looked over to Illowy again. "What if we did the levitation spell, Wingardium Levoisa, on them?" She whispered. "It would stop the fight, at best."
