Summer Vibes
Curiosity was at its peak as her focus shifted from Angellica and then back to Meenauh once again. Although she was excited, pessimistic assumptions couldn't help but swarm her head. Throwing exploding confections and revolting balls of manure didn't classify as violating the rules, right? It wasn't like the girls were deliberately putting the lives of other cabins in jeopardy, and challenging the 'accident' excuse wasn't going to get far. The lives of other students were the least of her problems, however. Professors were still out there.
Before she could comment on the mysterious parchment, it was being folded out and set aside much to her disliking. If it wasn't for the change in subject however, Emma would have commented. She didn't feel like bobbing back and forth in between subjects only to disregard half of the information.
"So that we're not hit, splashed, jinxed, spied upon, or injured." The brunette added sarcastically, wiggling her fingers in an ominous, but slow, manner. She didn't understand what obscure information there was, but she didn't mind explaining. It only hyped her up more and she couldn't wait to execute the first hit on whichever cabin they voted. She didn't know anyone, at least to her understanding, that was staying in any of the cabins. Twirling her wand between her fingers, she asked still keeping the sarcasm in her voice, "really wanna know why?" The two had dueled before, so what was just a little jinx? Okay, so maybe it was a little unhealthy.
Emma turned her attention to Angellica, but that was pretty hard from her current location so she laid down and kept her ears open. The temptation to fall asleep toyed with her despite the bright sun shining into their window.

Angellica hadn't meant to make Meenauh feel bad, and as the brunette seemed flustered so did the blonde. She wanted to say she was joking, but between everyone in the room, it seemed to be pretty fast paced in terms of discussion, and she didn't linger on it to cause more tension. It had never been the intent, and it seemed more wise to remain quiet from where she was perched.
Emma was talking and honestly, it was a nice reprieve from the blonde's thoughts. It was a smart move to lock the door, to avoid all the situations that were being stated. Neither of those seemed pleasant within the bounds of their cabin, but she guessed that was why they were pranks. Of course she listed her own ideas, things she'd picked up at the store, mostly out of curiosity, but then Meenauh asked why and the second year Ravenclaw couldn't quite explain.
"Why I have them in my possession or why I listed them?" she asked and didn't quite bother with waiting for an answer. "I was genuinely curious when I purchased them," she explained. "I had just planned to study them, especially the curlers, but now that there's opportunity, I figured it seemed appropriate..." though there was a serious question as she did so. Was it not appropriate? If not, then why were they in the jokes section of shops? "I mean I've read about pranks, the magical variety; I have it on good authority that dungbombs and exploding candies are quite popular among our age group," she defended, feeling she had to at least explain why she had come to such a conclusion.
"Perhaps we should eat before deciding on a prank? I hear there's a barbecue feast." It seemed like a good way to regroup, and settle the grumble that was happening in her stomach.

Meenauh was watching and listening to the girls explaining.
Emma went first by explaining the locked door. Apparently, summer camps included different childish activities like doing wrong things to each other. The degree of that wrong was limited only by children's imagination. Which was increasingly frightening. Especially the "injured" part Emma mentioned. Wizard blood was considered magical and made wizards a bit more protected against minor ailments and injuries. And almost everything else could be fixed with magic and time. That's why Quidditch and Duelling were possible in the first place.
Meenauh tried to explain to herself the reasoning behind pranking in general and failed. Probably that was the thing one should experience. Probably from both perspectives. Meenauh shivered, but couldn't tell from what exactly — the possible experience of being pranked on and possibly being injured, or her passion for new experience, which was now countering the essence of that experience.
Then Angellica explained her part about the items. Well, she did sound like she studied the matter and the statistics, so there was literature about the topic. Meenauh just missed it for some unknown reason.
As Angellica stopped explaining, Meenauh took several seconds to process the information and then she responded:
"Well, okay. So from what I see, my previous lack of knowledge cannot be easily compensated by reading or listening and I think one has to live through the experience of being pranked or pranking," she paused for a while, thinking, and continued, "I think I have to try it out and see for myself, what kind of emotions and fun that could be."
Angellica proposed a wildly smart idea of consuming some food before moving on. Meenauh couldn't actually move on with anything as she started to feel dizzy, because of hunger. Partially because the last meal was quite a long time ago, partially because she carried the trunk manually instead of using magic. On the second thought she weighed it beforehand, not coming to a steady conclusion whether using levitation all the way down from the castle wouldn't have exhausted herself the same way.
"Okay, girls, if you excuse you, I need to think about all that a bit, while I chew something. Let's regroup at the barbeque or back here afterwards," she said, smiling and hoping it wasn't rude to hastily leave alone.
She alohomored her way out and said while in the doors, winking:
"And don't forget to lock the doors on your way out!"

Summer Vibes
Waiting anxiously for Meenauh's response, Emma drummed her fingers against the bed, and while it made no audible noise, it took her mind off pranking no matter how many times it was mentioned in the cabin. She wanted to get it started already and she could have sworn she heard yelling coming from the outside. Whether from the great lake or another cabin, it was without a doubt she wanted to locate the source even if it was a hallucination from the blazing heat.
"Yep," the brunette agreed. All she could do was nod absentmindedly, not understanding most of her words until she continued again. This time, Meenauh got a reaction... though probably not what she was expecting. "Soo.. you're in?" Came the clarifying question. If she was being honest, doubt was the only strong feeling and she preferred using head over heart.
And with acceptance from Meenauh, loads of ideas began to pop into her head. Which ones they executed wouldn't be up to her, but nevertheless, she was excited.
Once Meenauh left the cabin, she immediately dived for her trunk and popped it open, a winter breeze hitting her in the face. At least it was better than the heatwave of an oven. Books, pillows, and yes, snow. It was everything she pulled out of her trunk that had all been neatly packed, now was not the case. Grabbing a secondhand hardback novel and tossing it on the blankets of her bunk, she dropped her wand on the side of the bunk beds and dove for the sheets. Finally, a moment alone... well sort of.
Cracking open the cover, Emma flipped from page to page until settling on one about a third into the book. This book didn't have its usual chapters, if it did, there would probably be about 40 of them, but only a few were important her. At the first few words, she felt a wave of drowsiness. Telling herself the bed were probably enchanted at the touch, a yawn stifled from her and she slipped underneath the blankets. Before she had the chance to sleep, she slid the book underneath the book and made a mental note not to forget it before leaving to return home. And off she went.

Raine returned from the BBQ still embarrassed and annoyed at the girl, Erin Ryan. Taking out her wand, she unlocked the cabin door with 'Alohomora' and went inside. Emptiness was all that greeted her and she sighed.
'Guess they're all at the BBQ, swimming, or pranking the others. Wish I had some time to prank the others.'
Moving over to the bunk that her items were on, she began pulling them off of her bed and packing them up in her trunk. Once she was finished with that, she sat down on the bottom bed and sighed. She wished she could have stayed a little longer. She didn't realize how much fun she was actually having at the summer camp until recently. But she needed to go home. Hell, she wanted to go home. She missed her family. Especially her little brother.
Before she left though, she figured she could leave a note behind to the other girls. Sitting there, she scribbled out a few sentences before standing and placed the note on Meenauh's bed for her to find later. Pulling her bag onto her back, Raine walked to the door and left. She knew that her trunk would find its way to the train as the house-elves were given a notice about the students that would be leaving that day. Whistling to herself, she walked down the hall and out the front doors of the floating boat that was her home for the last two weeks.

Hey ladies,
So the pranks I had in mind were to use the dungbombs sort of like on top of their room doors. If done the Muggle way, there could be a wire that connects to the bombs and if someone trips the wires then the bombs would fall on their heads. Another idea I had were the water balloons but they're already in place so that's a plus. If magic is allowed to be used outside, then maybe that freezing charm we learned in Astronomy could be useful? Freeze the lake water while the people you wish to prank are in there splashing around. Just make sure no one is underwater. Don't want to hurt anyone.
Well, I hope you ladies have fun. I'll see you all on September 1st.

Catriona was really a sweet little child, left alone among lots of people with a critically low number of other zero-year unsorted children. With those heavy thoughts from the recent acquaintance, Meenauh tried to open the door of their cabin, forgetting to Alohomora it first, but the door opened, surprisingly.
She carefully stepped inside and looked around. There was no one in the cabin, except Emma sleeping in her bed. Mornings were sometimes sleepy, so Meenauh wasn't judgemental about that. Angellica and Raine left as Meenauh saw them at the BBQ.
When she came close to the Gryffindor bunk bed, she noticed that something was missing. No belongings of Raine Sage were found, including her trunk.
Meenauh stopped for a moment, totally confused, how a person could be at the BBQ and then completely vanishing with her things. Was she still at the BBQ and was her trunk stolen? That would be an intriguing start of summer, but before diving into all kinds of investigations, Meenauh saw a note on her bed.
The note was from Raine T. Sage. The note started from the description of the prank Raine was talking about earlier. And then it abrupted with goodbye.
Meenauh came to sleeping Emma, still reading through the note and poked her into the shoulder:
"Hey, Emma. Emma, wake up, you'll miss the breakfast and wonderful halloumi burgers," she kept poking her shoulder, "and also do you know Raine left or you were sleeping when she was here writing the note?"
She waited for Emma to wake up and handed her the letter, still standing near her bed.

Summer Vibes
Sleep was a delicate thing, though not a sound one, Emma still didn't like to be interrupted. It wasn't hard for her to fall asleep even in the noisiest of situations or the quietest. That didn't mean she couldn't stay asleep though. The beds, however, seemed to adjust to her body making it much easier to fall and stay asleep.
The rattling of the doorknob shook her out of her deep sleep. With her eyes forcefully shut and her head tucked underneath the blankets, she begged the noise to cease so that she should return back to her slumber. If she could, that is.
Before she knew it, the rattling and scratching around the room had stopped and the door had opened and closed once more. Finally, she was left alone once again, but she didn't move an inch. She was already comfortable in her position, why move and repeat the cycle? However, not even forty-five minutes had passed before the same unlocking sounds issued from the doorknob. Internally groaning, the sounds of laughter and yells from the outside became audible once again.
"Fine," Emma sighed, the thumps against her shoulders getting worse. Throwing the cover off of her head she reached for the side of the bed and pulled herself up. "Burgers for breakfast..?" She questioned, "Probably, don't remember though." Taking the note, her expression changed from sleepy to confused and finally to sad. She made her way to the door and turned the knob before speaking. "It's alright, I guess. Breakfast?"Emma leave the thread
