Before the round commenced Matthew was unsure if he would end the duel or not but it suddenly became blatantly clear that such powers were not within his control. Having gauged Pettely's power level Matthew was sure Tracey could withstand any blow from him for this final time. While she would survive the young boys pyromancy, once again licking at her feet and sending flames flickering up her outfit, there was a far more chaotic element preparing for her that could not be stopped by any means.

Brushing off the flames lightly she made to send her own trust knockback spell towards Pettely but as he had been displaying the entire match his evasion was simply too quick. Frustrated at her failing accuracy paired alongside Pettely's smugness Matthew decided that it was in fact time for the duel to cease before one of the pair did something they would live to regret. Yet mother nature had other plans, as the young girl stood with irritation waiting for Matthew to announce the winner the clouds above her would darken, moody greys turning to threatening blacks as lightning began to form for a final time flashing through the clouds impending doom awaiting.

As Matthew drew his wand up and stepped into the middle of the piste he smiled brightly and with a commanding voice said, "Congratulations Pettely, as this is round 10 that marks the end of the duel and therefore you have-" Cut off by the sound of a piercing crack the room flashed bright white temporarily blinding them all as a small shriek ripped into the silence followed by a heavy thud of a collapsed body. When the room came back into view Matthew's eyes widened as he watched Tracey's lifeless form collapsed upon the ground, "-Tracey!"

As she thudded to the ground with a resounding boom Matthew instantly whipped his wand into action proving his own speed and natural instincts. Weaving his cherry wood wand through the air he instantly extinguished the girl with a quick "Extinguo" before he reached her side. The flames were dying down on her clothes but she still lay motionless with soot stained skin from the electricity that had pulsed through her. Drawing the tip of his wand to her heart he drew on the calming wellspring from within him and cast, "Rennervate" bringing her just back to consciousness enough that she could assist him in taking her to the infirmary.

Helping Tracey to her feet he watched as her crumpled form barely had the strength to walk but heaving her arm over his shoulder he aided in the movement letting her use him as a support. Whispering gentle words of encouragement as they moved towards the exit, "Well done you fought well, lets get you healed up." As they maneuvered through the room Matthew would look towards Pettely with a polite smile and say, "Congrats on your first win Pettely, don't get too confident though if we ever meet on the piste things may go less your way." There was a devilish challenge to his words meant to taunt the boy who had taken such delight in his spells hitting but his eyes showed a darker, danger hidden behind them that would make the younger boy wonder what Matthew was capable of.

Thank you so much for joining me on this crazy ride with an even crazier conclusion. You both did incredibly well and should be very proud of yourselves. I hope to see you both in the future and duelling is always a great way to develop character if you wish to roleplay further Tracey will be taken to the infirmary but shouldn't have to stay more than a few hours to recover. Hope you both enjoyed as much as I did and I shall see you in future duels.

Tracey knew that this is the last round of the duel, and so, once again, Tracey casted the powerfullest spell she knew, the Knockback Jinx, but, as he had been doing throughout the duel, Pettely had dodged the spell. Tracey was angry, a tad bit, but didn't show it. Seeing a flash of flames coming straight for her, she tried to dodge, but instead she got hit by the flames.

Tracey knew then and there that she had lost this unofficial duel, and that Pettely had won. But did she ever think something much worse would happen? No! Of course she didn't. It didn't even occur to her that now the rain cloud above her, which she probably should've gotten rid of a while ago, would strike her.

But it was when Matthew was speaking, crowning Pettely the victor, that the cloud struck her, causing a shriek to escape her, and to allow her to fall, unconscious, on the floor of the duelling club, a somewhat familiar feeling, but without being thrown back by the impact of the Knockback Jinx. Tracey knew immediately that the cloud had made her unconscious.

The unconscious Tracey was expecting Matthew to just leave her there, or to call someone, like a staff member or an older student, to take her there. But, instead of just leaving her there, it was as if Matthew had casted a spell on her, one she knew or didn't know, she wasn't sure, but it brought her back to consciousness, just enough for her to get up, with the help of Matthew, and be taken to the hospital wing.

With one arm draped over the Slytherin's shoulder, she sent him a weak smile, and quietly said,
"Thank you, Matthew,"

Tracey then, with a small effort, turned her head to look at Pettely and gave him a small smile before saying,
"Congratulations. I doubt you'd be getting unconscious, unless you're up against older students, but good luck in your other duels, and I can't wait to see you, possibly verse you again,"

Then, finally, Tracey allowed Matthew to lead her out of the duelling club and to the hospital wing, which is definitely a place she doesn't enjoy spending, but she does get to sleep a lot more in the wing. Plus, the beds are comfy too, maybe? She wasn't sure about that part. But what she did know, is that she would be there for a while, well, until she wasn't as tired as she currently was.

Thank you both so much! I enjoyed this duel! Matthew, you'll definitely be the first person I ask to be a moderator! Good luck on your future duels! A shame that Trace and Matthew are both unconscious, in our offical duels. Pettely, good luck on your future duels as well! I'd love to continue this further, but, probably when I come back from my mini break. Matthew, if you need anything from me, DM me.

"Incendio!"

For some unknown reason, he had gotten attached to that spell throughout this duel. He couldn't help making it his signature move. Much like Harry with his Disarming Charm. (Pettely doesn't know about Harry, just giving a reference)

As the sight of the red flame soaring through the room and landing on the girl's body reflected upon his eyes, he clenched his fist in celebration. The opponent decided to counter, casting a Knockback Jinx at his direction. And fueled by the pain this spell brang on him previously, Pettely moved out of the way, dodging the spell to his relief.

When the moderator began to speak, announcing the final winner, Pettely was taken by surprise, did the 10 rounds already end? Turns out, it did. There was a part in him, ambitioning to continue, so he'll be able to knock her down, once and for all. Little did he know, there was something else to finish the job for him. A sound pierced through the room, followed by bright light that blinded their vision, and somehow, right before the room came back in to view, Pettely knew what it was. A mysterious grin came upon his face.

His opponent lay flat on the ground. The moderator seemed concerned about her safety, firstly extinguishing the flames burning through her robes, and healing with a spell he did not know. They both moved towards the exit, possibly heading towards the hospital wing. No guilt was felt. After all, the cloud knocked her out, which was the result of her spell work.

The boy assisting the girl turned around, he made a comment about his confidence, though Pettely couldn't help but feel that arrogance was what he tried to imply. The moderator's eyes appeared to be menacing, and off-putting. Perhaps, that was the snake side of him, Pettely tried to search for in the beginning of the duel.

"Good game." 'For me'

The last part, he mouthed.
