Not going to lie though, she did make a good plot in the sixth book for comic relief whilst the book itself being darker than others. Added a good amount of chemistry to Won-Won and Hermione (At least that's what I felt)
Though, they shouldn't have focused on that Romantic story entirely in the movie. It out-shone Voldemort's Backstory, and the production shouldn't have made Ron look like a complete idiot for the WHOLE MOVIE SERIES.
HERMIRONE is my favorite ship. And they ruined it. Now people ship Harr-mione. What Frick?!
They just had to direct the part not faithful to the books so well, manipulating fans to think that they should be together.

Why is Lavender hated for being in love? Unlike Cho, she genuinely adored Ron. Cho used Harry as a relief, a distraction from Cedric's death. What she did the entire time she was with Harry was talk about Cedric, when, unlike her, the boy did not want to talk about Cedric at all due to the fact that he felt inherent guilt for his death.
Ron is the one who is supposed to be dragged with the outcome of their story. He used Lavender to make Hermione jealous. Actually, they all acted like normal teenagers, however, Lavender only loved Ron and that is not supposed to be her mistake, that is not supposed to be the reason for her to be hated.
