Gillyweed and Mysterious Potion

Hey dad,
Can you mail me four gillyweeds from Dogweed and Deathcap? I’ll pay you back, I promise! And just before you ask, no, I don’t plan on brewing any potions with it, especially nefarious ones. Did you know I was under the effect of the Mysterious Potion not too long ago?

Gillyweed and Mysterious Potion

Buzz off! Anyways, the mysterious potion kind of.. made my full body rigid as a board, my eyes turned black, and I vomited inky black puke! Isn’t that cool! Yeah, Logan might claim I owe her something but don’t believe her. She wasn’t my savior, thank god. It was.. well.. I can’t say their name. But let’s just say this puff decided to be an idiot.

Son. Quit lying! I’m serious when I say your nose is going to grow with the amount of times you lied to me. You’re going to end up like pinocchio. One day, anyways. Or perhaps those boys that turned into donkeys. Clark, listen to me. What you just described as the effects of the mysterious potion isn’t cool. As a matter of fact, it makes me incredibly concerned to hear that you were basically poisoned.
Clark, tell the headmaster to write back to me to explain why you had some random poison called the ‘Mysterious Potion.’ I want to know if it affected the whole school, if I have to pull you out or if I find out you brewed it, you’re in for a world of trouble, so make sure you reach out before I do. You have a day.

Clark tells me there’s some form of poison lingering around, and that he was suffering in some sort of a catatonic state? He wrote to me about something along the lines of black vomit? His eyes went black? Lear, forgive me but what the hell? You’re supposed to be ensuring my kid is taken care of, so why is he poisoned? What happened? Did anyone else get hurt?
